I do enjoy Saw X a lot, I had the time of my life seeing it in theater but the more I watch it, the less I enjoy it and I don't know why.

I think part of my problem is that it tries too much to make John look like some tragic anti hero and I hate this idea. John is a bad person. He puts people in deadly situations and no, he does not stop at children. You don't even need to watch the sequels to know that, it's in the very first movie.

I love John, I think he's an amazing character and I love seeing more of his relationship with others ( The John and Amanda parts were the best aspect of the movie ), but I don't want him to be a good guy who just a bit too extreme. His logic is flawed and he thinks he's better than others.

I just feel like we're slowly losing the real John and it became way more clear watching Saw X than it was before. I just hope things won't continue like that in the next movie.
