Final Artist Statement:
To conclude this fall term semester, studying from the class of painting. There were many issues like inspiration. I has to figure out what would be the right way in doing my artworks. I’ve learned so many techniques, for example in shadows with the painting, so that the painting doesn’t look flat. I love to paint because it is part of my career as a graphic designer. There were many paintings that I wish I could do better but that just showed me, what I’m good at and what do I struggle at. Overall, I still loved this class and hopefully I can work better in what I struggle of.

Artist Statement:
In these art paintings, the first one is a record player playing a one most popular music called “As It Was” by Harry Styles. And the second canvas is inspired of one of his sweaters with different colored of patches. It’s inspired by one of my favorite artist and truly represents all the colors of Harry styles because he dresses so colorful. And his style is everything to me. I wanted to tell a story of one of his albums.

Final Museum Artwork
Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh- artwork Irises
It’s ranked as one of the most expensive paintings ever sold. Ironic, considering van Gogh spent most of his life in poverty and turmoil. That’s the chaos and harmony of life. It’s currently owned by the J. Paul Getty Museum.
Shape is a key feature of the painting. Van Gogh went so far as to outline many of them with dark blue, giving an illustrator-like feel. In my artwork, I wanted to reshape the flowers to my own and use the same colors, however, adding a vase to another color to stand out the flowers better. And also adding some orange to make it stand out a little more.

In the following, three artwork is based my other cultural country from Lima, Peru. These are some of the popular desserts where I am also from.
Panettone : Is a rich bread cake made with eggs, fruit, and butter and typically eaten at Christmas
Mil Hojas: Is a dessert made with stacked layers of puff pastry, filled with creme patissiere; cream; dulce de leche; a creamy mix of condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla; or white chocolate.
Alfajores: traditional Peruvian pastries made with two delicate, melt-in-your-mouth cookies embracing a luscious dollop of creamy dulce de leche caramel.

Artist Statement:
This is inspired by a surreal dream. I’ve been doing these unusual city scenes. Inspired by a little Sci Fi and surrealism. I started to drawing a curved horizon line, like the top of a planet or a ball, and begin to adding buildings. And adding animals that would give it more of an interesting idea to this surreal world.
