ngl as much as i love dol and im fascinated about the story, it does genuinely bother me they way the devs and a number of the contribs/mods talk about abortion
like whenever its brought up its always deflected as being 'political', or 'controversial', even when the person is asking about it in relation to the game or its just a light joke, and dismissing any requests by saying dol is "a rape trauma" game
the controversy one is a wild one to me in particular given the Everything that dol is, but also by actively choosing to not make that method available at all or to even have an inuniverse expalanation for it, feels like a side Has been taken here even if it isnt intended, especially with how its regularly referred to as being political
yes bearing children from rape is obviously more traumatic then having an abortion due to rape, but the way its talked about always comes across as dismissive of how difficult and traumatic abortions in general are, especially when its due to rape
