Turns out I haven't really journaled in a while! Just stopped feeling the need to document my successes and started simply living in them. Well, dear diary, I have some actually unusual news for you today... Turns out my father murdered two people, forged evidence and blackmailed the chief prosecutor. That's right... Daddy. I had no idea how far he's willing to go for the sake of his job. I guess I should have known. But also, there's literally no way I could have known. But at the same time, the signs were probably there. I should have been able to tell. When he started spending way too much time working, maybe? When he refused to tell me what is it that he's really doing? Well, he just didn't really think I had to know... Should I have stopped him? I always thought that if anything, I'd be the only one that could, he loved me the most - but I guess he didn't love me enough not to lie to me. To be the man I believed he was. God, I was really stupid. I feel really, really, really stupid. I didn't notice at all. I never thought he...

Fine, this isn't making me feel any better. This is pointless. The only thing that could help me right now is if it wasn't true. Is if it all was just a bad dream.

Is he even the same person to me anymore? Where's my father? What happened to him? How is this even happening?

hii!!! thank you for answering my call! I do :3 if you'll go through the tag "lawyer game (the one in my head)" on my art account or "maya's aa oc tag" here, you're certain to find at least some of them!

there's not only aa ocs though, there's project david and collegeverse, but I don't think the world is ready yet, and these are more personal

right now my biggest obsession (haha turnabout obsession) out of my aa ocs is basil bonerath, so I'll tell you something about him instead of just sending you through the tags. he's a detective, he sees himself as a main character of an adventure novel and some sort of pricky loveable genius like sherlock holmes, in reality he's mostly just a jerk who gets really easily frustrated when reality collides with his fantasy. he sees most of the people around him as background props to make his greatness shine brighter, dumb comic reliefs and etc, or even mild obstacles, and only sees his intellectual equals in "villains" he faces: dangerous criminals who he often takes interest in, singles out, watches after for long periods of time, then aims to take down completely on his own with no one else from the police involved. I have a case called turnabout obsession, where an obsession he had with one of his villains ended extremely poorly for everyone involved. also like all male aa detectives he has real puppydog energy, he's excitable, extremely loyal to those he considers worthy of it, easily distracted and honestly pretty cute if not for his attitude- *gets shot*

16. What is your OC's pain tolerance like?

oh his is BAD actually but he does his best to hide it. he feels pain sharply and bruises easily and is certainly not the most durable guy in the world but he's trying to only let out a little eek and laugh it off. didn't help him much when he was getting his ass beaten in the gang because they made sure it hurt even the tough guy he pretended to be

and whenever he for example tripped and fell in the mvk household, he'd make a joke out of it instead of moaning in pain or something like that Or moan in pain exaggeratedly as a joke and laugh about it inviting others to do the same. he's all like "please don't take my misery seriously, I exist to be a clown, please if even for a second I'll have to seriously reckon with the situation I'm in I'll explode"

2. What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them?

she's actually pretty smart! she looks (and acts. and talks) like a spoiled party girl whose only go in life is to have fun, but her dreams are pretty big (she wants to be a politician) and her plans make some real, actual sense! like she already has ideas on how to make life better and everything, she's just living her life at a normal pace and not rushing it to become super duper accomplished while she's young. and like duh she wants to have fun along the way

1. What memory would your OC rather just forget?

ohohohoho. you KNOW. you Know, don't you. I'd say it's probably that fateful night when she turned her fate around with her own hands.... either that or everything that went down in this house before that.

3. What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

I'd say her fatal flaw is her need to believe that she's kind, that she's reasonable and that she's not unforgivable – all of this that leads to her endless self-deception and self-justification. she just wants to be innocent really badly. I don't know how to describe it in one word. "the devil made me do it"? "victim complex"? that's different, but a bit similar. anyways, no, she's not aware that it's a problem. her internal image of herself just kinda doesn't align with reality, she kind of genuinely believes she had no other choice but this. she allows for the possibility, that it isn't true, but she can't process the truth it would reveal, like, at all.

so yeah! OR it's sadism and deep repression and the need to torture other people for her emotional own catharsis.... OR it's the deep distrust towards other people that led her away from the possibility of redemption.... she's one walking fatal flaw honestly. she's aware of the latter two though

oh you know. literally everything. her in her entirety. she's fucking perfect I think. but okay no cheating, the thing I want more people to see is the aesthetic vision behind her and her immaculate VIBE....

I'd say, pretty far!! but also not too far at the same time. as in, she'd work herself to the bone to become the master, she's not foreign to pressuring and trying to manipulate others either, she's a great talker and could talk her away into a deal, but she wouldn't kill or frame someone to become the master, she wouldn't use the dirtiest tricks the feys played, she detests that and would do anything in her power not to have to come to that

oh we would.
