Today was last day for the lesson at QUT. And tomorrow is the Final presentation. We prepared a lot so I hope we will make it. Tomorrow is so early, so I will sleep early and prepared for tomorrow. It was a great time at QUT and we will leave Australia in 2 days... I wanna stay longer . Everyone good luck!! I had a cold yesterday so my throat heart but I wanna try best.

Hi!

Today we had the last marketing class and Lisa gave us some advice on our executive summary. After that, we fixed our slides and script and they are almost done. Tomorrow, we are going to practice giving a presentation. We’ve been given enough time to practice over and over so I want to prepare for the final presentation perfectly.

For lunch I had karaage curry and it was so good :) So I recommend it to everyone though we have only one more day to eat lunch at school.

Hi! Today, we made slides and scripts for the final presentation. Our works are going very well! We practiced using VR equipments. It was fun.

In the morning break, we celebrated Chie’s 19th birthday with a cake which Tünde, our teacher had made. It was so sweet and delicious!

After school, I took the City Hopper. It is a free ferry. In Brisbane, there are three ferry services. I watched the beautiful sunset and took some photos.

It is the last time for me to post blogs during this program. Thank you for checking my posts! I will do my best for the final presentation!

Today I went to DFO with Aomi, Archchie, and Airi. I couldn’t find anything that I wanted to buy , but it was fun even I was just looking around . I bought just one chocolate which was coconut and whitechocolate flavor. I really like coconut chocolate these days, so I’m looking forward to eat it:)

I have to finish power point slides for my presentation. I’m tired and sleepy now but I will do my best and want to sleep as soon as possible.

I’m going back in five days. I feel like I want to stay more but also I want to go back because I miss Japanese food. Good night.

Off to Moreton Island🌴

Hi! Today was a day I could never forget. It was the first time in my life to go to Moreton Island and also doing snorkelling, kayak, and sand tobogganing!

The water temperature was pretty low ,( it was 19℃) so while we were snorkeling my friends were freezing. I had a life jacket on so it was bareable for me. Other than that, the fish in the sea were very beautiful and made me want to go scuba diving one day. Before we got to Moreton Island we had Mitsuki take a photo for me and my friends and it’s personally my favourite photo of the day.

Although it is Winter in Australia, the temperature was nice and I really enjoyed my visit to Moreton Island. I really want to visit this place again with my family and friends sometime.

It’s sad to think that this was the last class activity before we leave Brisbane. I’d like to enjoy my last weekend before we leave and prepare for the final presentation!

Hi! In today’s class, we worked on our executive summary and our group decided to target domestic families. Then, we learned about effective ways to include data in our presentation.

After dinner, I went to a cafe near our dormitory with one of my roommates. I had a chocolate cake called “death by chocolate.” It was very good but was too big to eat after dinner😂 Anyway, I wanna go there again!

Tomorrow, we’re going to Moreton Island to do some marine activities. I hope it will be sunny and warm tomorrow!

Hi guys! Today, we had three classes. Since yesterday was EKKA holiday, it was a little hard to get up early.

First, we had a tutor session. We talked with our teacher about the executive summary for the final presentation. In English class, we had a vocabulary presentation. And we learned how to make a good introduction.

After school, I went to a bakery which had some eating space near our dormitory. When we entered, the clerk said “Bonjour”. We had two macaroons and a cup of tea. I was happy because I had found no bakery in Brisbane! I recommend you to go there if you miss the bakery!

Today was the EKKA HOLIDAY so we went to the EKKAfestival at Brisbane. It was such an huge festival and many people were there. We went there at afternoon and we ate beef sandwich and drink lemonade. Also there were many games to play at there. I forgot to bring cash,so I couldn’t play but I had enjoyed a lot. In 6pm,the show had started and there were many animals and entertainers. They had the great show and we had enjoyed so much. There was firework and it was so beautiful. It was a great holiday and had relaxed a lot.

Today we went to Dreamworld. There were fewer people than I expected, so we didn’t have to wait for the attractions, which was so good.

We rode a lot of attractions, and my favorite was tower of terror. Before going on the ride, I was scared because it looked very speedy and it will fall from the high place. But it was just like a fast car and I felt like it was only a few seconds. Personally, I think the claw was the most thrilling ride. It was so scary that I couldn’t understand what happened.

Tomorrow is Ekka holiday. I want to have fun with my friends and take enough rest.

Hello! Today we had the vocabulary presentation in the morning. After that we visited ‘Deedot’. I was really excited to visit here since I love coffee. I ordered macchiato but it was way different from the macchiato we drink in Japan. It was a really strong shot of espresso. It was more bitter than I expected it to be but I liked it anyway. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere so much and made me want to visit this place again! Lastly, we took a class photo together at the Kelvin Grove campus. Before we took the photo the boys started singing a song that’s famous in Japan. It was really funny and all of us were taking videos.

I just realized today that we’re half way through the EAP. Now, I’m really happy that I was assigned to QUT for the Overseas EAP program.

Tomorrow , we will visit Dreamworld. I’m really excited! I’ll make sure I’ll go to bed early today.

Hello! Today, I went to Paradise Country with my friend. Paradise Country is a theme park where you can enjoy Aussie farm experience. You can watch some kinds of shows such as a horse show and a sheep shearing show. And a lot of animals are kept there.

I was really excited because I could meet characters from a well known animation “Shaun the Sheep” and took a lot of photos of them!

Then, a country musician was doing a live performance outside, so we enjoyed listening to his songs while we had a picnic at lunchtime. I had a great time today😆

【Day9】

Hi! Today, we visited “Australia zoo”. It took about an hour and a half to get there. I had enough time to sleep on our bus😂

After arriving at the zoo, we listened to an interesting business presentation. We also tried to touch a small snake! It was a little bit scary.

The zoo was more interesting than I thought before! I found the zoo were offering many opportunities to interact with animals. I saw many animals such as koalas, kangaroos and tigers etc. We also enjoyed a show! This show was very exciting. Especially, I liked the crocodile’s performance.

Tomorrow, it’s a free day! I’ll go shopping with my friends. And I have to prepare for the 2nd week of school!

Today we went to River Life in Brisbane. It was so beautiful and very nice weather.

We had the class until 12:00 and after that we ride on the bus and went there. We heard the presentation from the staff. Also we cycle and did roller braiding. I did roller braiding and it was so difficult. But luckily, I hadn’t fall.

Everyone was so tired after that but we all seem so fun. If I had time, I wanna go to River Life again and do barbecue.

I went to LU CHA with Aomi and I got olong tea with tropical fruit. It was better than I expected, so I want to try other drinks in LU CHA.

We had a tutor session for the first time. We had to think 20 questions and our teacher gave a lot of advice. It was very helpful and meant a lot.

We are going to riverlife tomorrow. It is our first time for us to visit the company in Brisbane. I want to experience and gain lots of things from the company but at the same time I want to enjoy rollerblade.

In 2 weeks we will be having a big presentation so I need to work on it and practice a lot. It will almost be a week to be here in Brisbane and I think time has gone by so quickly. Using my time more wisely and getting ready for my presentation will be important next week so I want to get enough sleep and study hard tommorow as well.

Hi! Yesterday, after school I went shopping with Mistuki. We both collect charms from PANDORA and we decided to get the Australian limited charm. Mitsuki got a kangaroo one and I got a charm the shape of a Koala. I took the first photo while we were shopping near student one. Where I used to live, it said “ garbage” although in Brisbane it says “rubbish”. I personally find this really interesting and I took a photo of this. Next, the second photo is the dinner me and my roommates made. We made carbonalla which was really delicious. I look forward to making more dinner with my friends! I will keep up the good work and study hard.

DAY 5

Today, we took the same classes as yesterday. In the marketing class, we learned about segmentation, targeting and positioning. And in the English class, we shared informations about business organizations other groups are doing.

In the evening, I went to the relax room with my roommates to get free dinner. After enjoying some games with other international students, we got hotdogs, drinks, and sundaes! We enjoyed ourselves!

【Day4】

Today was the first day of school! I got up at 6:00 and we took a bus to go to Kelvin Grove campus.

We had three lectures today. In the morning we learned about marketing and competitor. For lunch we had kebab. I also tried Arabian snacks(I don’t know the name) I found a lot of restaurants and cafés near the campus!

In the afternoon, we had an English class. My teacher can speak Japanese a little. She strongly asked us to maintain the English environment. If we speak in Japanese, we have to buy chocolates for everyone in the class😂

Our classes finished at 15:30. Since we got up early, we are so tired! I think I will sleep well tonight!
