Posting one of my favorite piano-related installation art, In Silence by Chiharu Shiota, as today is Bartolomeo Cristofori’s birthday. He invented the piano more than 300 years ago. Along with millions of other people who play and love the piano, I am forever grateful for Cristofori’s invention.
