This is definitely going to show our age a bit - we don't understand the need we've seen younger folk in the alterhuman | therian | otherkin space show on coming out to their families - to us it feels like a very private thing - and we hold that every identity facet one has doesn't need to be shown in the same way to everybody - if no one has told you, it's okay if it's just for you

And, I can frequently tell when someone is sick. Sickness has it's own scent that alters the person's usual scent. It isn't necessarily bad, just different

okay but like- why do people find it weird when i say "oh i recognized your scent" like... is that not normal??

they dropped their beanie in a house full of others, i only recognized it because of their scent and gave it back. "oh how'd you know this was mine?" "your scent."
