Hey everyone! This is my lovely friend Cyrus Nemati, who many of you may know as Theseus, Dionysus and Ares from the first Hades game.
He has spent the last couple years developing his very first indie game, Vampire Therapist, which plays with the many vampire character archetypes from across media.
It's been reviewing VERY well but it's not getting very many wishlists, so if you're interested in vampires, fantastic art and clever, funny, and thoughtful writing about vampire mental health, go wishlist it on Steam!
And listen, Cyrus may be too humble to leverage his colorful career as your favourite Hades hotboys, so I'm gonna do it for him 😌 GO SUPPORT FANTASTIC INDIE DEVS LIKE THIS ONE!

How do you get Gale's beard to look SO good in your pics? I swear in my game he looks like he's drawn it on :(
it's a bug that makes all beards, including gale's, look 'mossy'. it's been there for months now at this point and has yet to be fixed, afaik.
i made a post a while ago on how to fix it:
go to your nvidia control panel or to the equivalent for your graphic card
go to manage 3d settings
set the anisotropic filtering to x16
it's what fixed the issue for me.
here's a comparison between the two (mossy beard bug on the left, fixed version on the right):
i hope that was helpful! 🖤

The fact that that scishow hrt video kind of quips outright about no one on the writing team taking feminizing hormones is what baffles me like was that not embarrassing to say? I feel like if a big science youtube channel made a video about a more general health topic and half way through implied that there were no women on the writing team you'd be like. "okay why are you joking about that. That kind of calls into question the accuracy of the information you're presenting and also the kind of workplace that is going on behind the scenes". But when it's specially about trans stuff they can just be like yeah we didn't speak to any trans women about that first part lol.

Remember to make space for the heteros this month too - yes, really.
Lesbians who became straight men
Gay men who became straight women
All straight drag artists (note that not all of them are cis!)
People with complex identities who thusly encompass multiple orientations (like genderfluid and multigender people who, yes, are sometimes straight, or even simultaneously with other labels)
Hetero aro and ace people. Especially. Seriously.
People with fluid orientations
Gnc people who find joy in their straightness
Many queer people are also straight. Queerness is note solely reliant on gayness. These people too, are a part of pride. Remember that.
[All discourse attempts will be swiftly blocked. Exclusionists fuck off]

Reminder : chilchuck’s voice actor, Casey Mongillo, is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns! I see a lot of people using he/him to refer to Mongillo

I think one big reason why we don't consider the stars as important as before (not even pop-astrology anymore cares about the stars or the sky on itself, just the signs deprived of context) is because of light pollution.
For most of human history the sky looked between 1-3, 4 at most. And then all of a sudden with electrification it was gone (I'm lucky if I get 6 in my small city). The first time I saw the Milky Way fully as a kid was a spiritual experience, I was almost scared on how BRIGHT it was, it felt like someone was looking back at me. You don't get that at all with modern light pollution.
When most people talk about stargazing nowadays they think about watching about a couple of bright dots. The stars are really, really not like that. The unpolluted night sky is a festival of fireworks. There is nothing like it.

May 4, 2024 - CNN writes about how the mean anti-genocide protesters silenced a lone counter-protester at the University of Pennsylvania:
How did they silence him, you ask? They drew a circle around him in chalk, and labeled it "Designated Dingus Area"
