After months of writing, deleting, re-writing and so on, the story I announced months ago is finally out of my draft and the first two chapters are out. For once, I didn't made a spotify playlist, but if you're ever interested I can make one.

Got this idea while trying to write the other story I talked about a while ago on my last post. I also saw the results of the poll and a lot of you wanted a reader insert so here is a small one shot for you guys !

In the Wild West, Arthur Morgan watches helplessly as his companion, you, is interrogated by ruthless foes. With Dutch van der Linde’s whereabouts in question and danger closing in, you endures relentless torment, unwavering in your loyalty. Together, you defy the darkness, clinging to hope in a world on the brink of chaos.

EDIT : The first two chapters are OUT ! Heyyy ! So based on my last post people voted for a third person story. I only started to work on the first chapter and trying to sort all of my ideas for this story.

BUT !

I got the title AND the summary is done and here it is for you ! So, ladies and gentlemen (if there’s any) may I present you Shadows on the Trail :

At the age of fourteen, Josephine Harper fled her homestead, leaving behind a dark past and a trail of secrets in her wake. For two years, she survived alone in the unforgiving wilderness, her determination and resilience guiding her through the darkest of nights.

But fate had other plans for Jo when she crossed paths with the infamous Van der Linde gang. Saved from certain demise by Dutch Van der Linde and his band of outlaws, she found herself thrust into a world of danger, adventure and camaraderie.

Now, at twenty-eight, Josephine’s past comes back to haunt her, threatening to unravel the carefully constructed web of lies and half-truths she’s built to protect herself. As the gang rides again, old wounds are reopened, and Jo is forced to confront the demons she thought she had left behind.

In the midst of it all, she finds solace in the company of her longtime friend, Arthur Morgan. But as their bond deepens and feelings begin to blossom between them, Josephine is torn between her desire for honesty and the fear of losing the one person she’s ever truly cared for.

As the lines between loyalty and betrayal blur, Jo must navigate the treacherous waters of love and deception, knowing that the truth has the power to both destroy her and set her free.

I have a serious obsession for Rdr2 and it’s silly cowboy. Maybe I need therapy or something but anyway who cares lol !

First of all, I want to say that I’m open to request if any of y’all has ideas or anything related to a certain cowboy, wink wink !

And now onto the second thing, I loved writing Bearing the flame, a short fiction and I was thinking of doing maybe a second epilogue which could have around 3 chapters or something, lemme know what you think. I’ll be happy to know.

And for the last thing, I begin to have some ideas for a new story. It’s still in draft mode and won’t come out soon but I’m working on it during my free time. One of the big question is how will be the narrative of this story and I don’t know which to chose for this future story between third person, first person or reader insert (which I’m not very fond of because I don’t like to use y/n) so I’ll let you chose for this !

New story ahead : Bearing the Flame

Decided to give a shot to an idea that poped into my head and tried to make a small story around it so here's the summary. First chapter is out and the second is already in the making and should come out in the next few days.

In the unforgiving landscapes of Beaver Hollow, amidst the chaos of a gang on the brink of collapse, emerges Olivia, elder sister to John Marston. As the ominous specter of tuberculosis tightens its grip on Arthur Morgan, Olivia shoulders the weight of the gang's survival. 'Bearing the Flame' unfolds during the harrowing events of Chapter 6, where loyalty is tested, alliances are shattered, and Olivia fights to keep the embers of camaraderie alive. As Arthur's health wanes, she grapples with the impending demise of everything they've built. Will Olivia's unwavering determination be enough to guide the gang through the storm, or will they be consumed by the darkness that looms over Beaver Hollow?

As usual, there's also a playlist Spotify according to the story. It's not complete, just like the story, but songs will be added as new chapters comes out.
