I'm a Canadian collector 🇨🇦 from Fort Erie, Ontario. I started collecting cards after I was injured in an automobile accident as a way to pass the time and cope with pain. I used to be a published journalist, enjoying a career as Special Features writer, photographer and editor, but my health issues have forced me into "early retirement."

My favourite Quidd channel is definitely Star Trek, but I collect them all. (Some channels have suffered a bit because of absence for appointments, surgeries or sickness, but I'm still hopeful I'll catch up.) I will trade dupes for needs, or for a lower cc than I already own if it really helps my Value Ranking. (I'm not the biggest fan of the 'System' as it has made collecting considerably more competitive and trading far more difficult, in my opinion.) I'm currently ranked in the Top 10 in some Bob Burgers base sets & have quite a few sets ranked in the Top 100 throughout the channels.

My collection is not the largest or the most valuable, but I think it's respectable and I'm proud of it. I consider myself a 🐠. I don't pull a lot of low #s, having to trade for most I have, so I try not let them go if possible. I have been lucky in the past and pulled dupes of 1000cc or less cards and stickers, but most I still have are Sold Out now and will take a generous offer for me to consider letting them go. Thanks!

This Little Piggy... 🐷🐽

After collecting so many sets across the channels, we've all started to amass a great number of dupes. And because we all have favourite characters and items special to our hearts, it's only natural to want to trade any base or insert extras for that something special. Some of us have gone hard-core, actively seeking out these cards and stickers, which brings me to what I'm calling "Piggies!"

Let everyone know your hoard. Use the Piggy 🐷 to denote your Piggy desires, along with your 3 Wishes at the bottom of your Introduction. If you happen to have multiple hoards, denote them with Snouts 🐽, up to 5 choices across the channels.

For example:

The 3 Wishes List!!! 🤔🙏🏻

We all have needs on Quidd, no matter what the level of trader we happen to be. Rather than trying to guess what everyone's most sought after treasure might be, I thought of an easy way to let everyone know... The 3 Wishes List!!!

1. 🦄 "The Unicorn" - This is your Moby Dick, the seemingly un-gettable get. Perhaps it's the "Ship a She", a "Casual Kirk" or a "Crystalline Entity"? Maybe it's "Weaponized Insects", "Suspect #1" or a 1st Edition "Kangaroo Anus"? If a trader has it and knows you really want it, you could just get lucky one day! (But be prepared, unicorns aren't cheap!)

2. 🐴 "The Stallion" - This is your current "front runner" for trades. Maybe it's from a popular set that's hot right now, like the 3D Pops? If a trader has an extra, they can count on you to take it off their hands as long as you've got what they need as well in trade.

3. 🐺 "The Fox" - This is the card you want the quickest, that card you need immediately to finish a set. It's a reasonable get, but either you've run low on coins and packs are too expensive or you've had terrible luck as the odds of pulling it are lower than they should. You got lots to offer for it, so go ahead trader and open a window.

I think this coded system just might work. Give it a try!

Introduce Yourself!!! 😊👍🏻

No one is anonymous on Quidd, so why be here??? Please include your @TraderName, a short bio if you wish and, of course, which channels you collect and/or like the best.

I've come up with a cute way to identify ourselves to other traders, making it easier to find fellow similar souls...

1. 🐟 "The Guppy" - Essentially, a newbie trader. Very few complete sets and trades. Still need to finish base sets and could use a few guiding and helping hands.

2. 🐡 "The Puffer" - A quickly growing trader. Small, but increasing number of complete sets and regular trades. Finished base sets and now on to inserts and chases to keep expanding.

3. 🐠 "The Tropical" - An established trader with many complete sets and trades. Filling in the gaps and finishing sets and channels, this is the standard collector.

4. 🐬 "The Dolphin" - An advanced trader with often complete channels and tons of trades. A smart and savvy collector, this quick mover tops the Completed First Leaderboard every chance they get. Now, it's all about speed!

5. 🐳 "The Whale" - An ultimate trader with many complete channels and massive collections. A bulk collector with rares to spare, this collector has it all and then some. Now, it's about numbers!

Please include your "Spirit Swimmer" in your Trader Introduction...
