I want to ask some questions, I might get some answers but the most important part is to keep an open mind to the possibility of anything.
I will probably get some hate from these posts and I don't mind because the fact that me asking questions, researching the subjects and then discussing it on an open forum causing someone to question me back will lead to a place of debate. Debating topics is a great way to understand other viewpoints and explore further insight.
In these blog posts I will be exploring many anomalies around civilizations that came before us, how they lived and whether or not our history as we know it is entirely true.
My boyfriend introduced me to Graham Hancock, he is a British writer who questions what scientists and historians believe to be the story of human beings. After watching a few interviews, and Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix with Graham Hancock I could feel myself getting sucked into questioning the same things as him. We have since watched more shows surrounding the same theories as Graham Hancock, my list of questions is only getting longer the more I look into it and not many questions have definitive answers.
To start off with I want to look at the theory that Graham Hancock poses, he believes that during the ice age there were civilizations of humans that had the capabilities to grow vegetation, create more advanced tools and build cities - the numbers would have dwindled during the Younger Dryas, due to the temperature dropping. The theory then goes on to state that the humans that were left travelled across the globe once the temperature had gone back up and taught smaller communities of humans their skills. This theory is supported by Göbekli Tepe, a Neolithic archaeological site in Turkey that was recently discovered and is believed to have been built in 9600 BCE. The site was hidden and then covered up as if to hide it from someone or something, this was done just over 1000 years after it had been built.
Tumblr media
Why did humans build Göbekli Tepe and then cover it up for it to be hidden for centuries?
What were they hiding it from?
What about Göbekli Tepe did they think needed to be hidden?
