As I just stated, I create everything I wear with magic so that it is exactly to my preferences. I have not changed my style in thousands of years and I do not anticipate that changing anytime in in the near future.

We would most certainly NOT be getting along for a very long time, given our history. A blade bonded to its master may not do said master any harm, so I could never hurt the Skychild, but that agreement does not extend both ways.
