Long magical girl transformation and the whole audience is so excited to see how I will subvert it, but in the end I just look like a normal magical girl and they're all booing me because I didn't subvert the genre and I'm crying because I just wanted to be a normal magical girl

I see the radfems out there saying that every man who's ever been born is a psychopath who's constantly looking for an opportunity to commit a felony and then I remember this one time I was really struggling to get a shopping cart out of another shopping cart and a dude came over to help me, but he couldn't do it, and then another dude came over to help him, and then another came over because it was a challenge he wanted in on, and then I had 3 guys all tearing at a stuck shopping cart, and literally none of them even needed a cart.
And when they got it out, they fist pumped and I said thanks so much and one of them said "easy." And then they left.
And it's like.
I don't think radfems go outside.

Demons Dance Alone
Happy Holidays, everyone! This album was inspired by the September 11th attacks.
Specifically, it's split up into three parts: Loss, Denial and The Three Metaphors. It's one of their bleaker works and my third favorite album by them so I'm excited for this one. Let's get started already.
Tongue
Before we get into "Loss" proper, here's an eerie instrumental that makes you feel dead. No seriously, it really does. Close your eyes and tell me how it feels. Also, listen out for my favorite song on the album.
8/10
2. Life Could Be Wonderful
A really nice dreary tune. The most comfortable I have ever been hearing an older white man say "Negro". Super soothing.
11/10
3. The Weatherman
Molly bringing the pipes singing in an weirdly familiar way...hold on, isn't this just Honey Bear? The hell?
7/10
4. Ghost Child
Perfectly creepy...makes you feel like a Ghost Child is behind you right now...or now? Maybe now.
8/10
5. Caring
A nice tune about...wait no, this is the Honey Bear song! Is that song stalking me?!
8/10
6. Honey Bear
The reason I keep hearing this song in other songs is because it's one of the best tracks on the album. Love it when this band goes full depression.
11/10
7. The Car Thief
Damn...prettiest car thief I've ever heard. Pipes of a grand theft auto angel.
9/10
8. Neediness
You get good guitars on a track about...I don't know, letting go? The lyrics are hard to hear.
8/10
9. Thundering Skies
A jaunty tune for a song about a storm. Interesting direction.
8/10
10. Mickey Macaroni
By the way, we're in Denial by the last track. We're getting silly with it here. Loose and macaroni.
8/10
11. Betty's Body
Nice and ominous. Classic Residents' tune.
8/10
12. My Brother Paul
We're getting into pop stuff here. Mourn your relatives properly with a nice drum beat.
9/10
13. Baja
Not the blast, unfortunately. Some sick guitars though. Super cool way to finish off the Denial part.
9/10
14. Beekeeper's Daughter
And so we enter The Three Metaphors with the tale of the beekeeper's daughter. Things, uh...they don't work out for her.
8/10
15. Wolverines
This is the type of dreariness to expect...and I suspect it'll only get worse from here with lighter dance beats.
8/10
16. Make Me Moo
Objectively the best song on the album even if it isn't my favorite. Make Me Moo is sung divinely by Molly using a kid's voice, touching whoever hears it. It's objectively a perfect song...too perfect for this album. Bad score.
100/10
17. Demons Dance Alone
I've reviewed this before! Still one of my favorite songs by them. And I love it even more today. Especially now I've taken to demon-killing in my spare time.
825/100
Album Score: 619/100
Next time is 12 Days Of Brumalia. Ooo...so close to making it a Christmas thing!

If you're a trans girl, just remember that you are female and you don't have to call yourself "biologically male" or any of that horseshit to appease cis sensibilities. You are biologically female

The 13th century Swedish peasant boy who's crashing on my couch keeps eating my leftover General Tso's. I always tell him he can order his own but he's all "oh no, just wonton soup is fine with me, it reminds me of winters at home by the fire" but when I open the fridge the next day, what do I see? Not my leftovers! I don't even think they had wontons in medieval Sweden.
