"I didn't know how it works," she sighed, leaving her eyes closed for a second. Opening them, Caroline did her best to looked like a non-mess. Her grown-up face in place, she continued.
"I don't want you here right now, no. But there is someone you could watch over in the mean time, if that's allowed. Could you maybe go and tell me if he's alright? My boyfriend, Tyler, I mean." He could, couldn't he? He seemed to have some bit of freedom, and he was there to keep her safe. The safest thing for her, as far as metal state, was to know that he was okay. Still, maybe Theliel wouldn't like the idea.
