So here is a thought.

Fan continuation of the Avatar 2 ending (part 2\2)

Important: Neteyam is alive in this version, but wounded in the right shoulder.

Important [2]: All this is for a threesome.

Returning to the village, they decide what to do with the colonel, how to tell the leader and the others about him. And while they decide, he wakes up, gets out of the shackles and dumps into the forest, cursing under his breath: “From one cage to another? Look for a fool …”.

Miles is unsuccessfully searched for a couple of weeks, until he is accidentally found by Neytiri, during a solo hunt. It turned out that they were hunting for the same prey.

Between them there is a noisy skirmish, which attracts a wild slinger - a lone predator with a detachable head. They run away, Miles runs into Neytiri, she trips over the roots and accidentally gets her foot stuck in them. She dropped her bow and couldn’t reach it. Slinger sees that the victim is trapped and attacks, but Miles throws himself at the head of the creature, holding it and brutally stabbing the dagger into his neck.

The predator drops dead. Neytiri stands up, and on “You could say thank you” from Quaritch, stares at him for a few seconds and asks why he saved her.

He reluctantly replies, “The Thing was too vile.” She leaves.

Miles thinks about how he can get through the woods for another 14 years, if he’s lucky. He understands that he was abandoned here, and he will not have to wait for help. So you need to get used to survival in solo. After a skirmish with a slinger, he is left with a wound on his side, which he notices only now. He did not catch food, his base was declassified, and now there is also a wound that cannot be disinfected. “Well, that’s fucking awesome.”

After a while, Neytiri returns and says that he must go with her, willingly or not.

She promises to give medicine if he behaves. Miles is very suspicious of the offer, but he loves life more than freedom, and agrees to go (although it is not known whether they will execute him or not, he has much less chance of surviving in the forest, and he will still be dragged by force). In the tribe, the confused Metkayina, to put it mildly, meet the heavenly demon without much joy, calming down only after the appearance of their leader and Jake.

After Neytiri told about what happened, Quaritch is sent to the shaman to patch up the wound. The Na'vi come together to discuss the main issue in the council circle - what to do with the martinet. Jake, softened by the colonel’s bold act, offers to give him a probationary period, arguing that he himself was once the same heavenly demon, knew only orders, and only having got to Pandora and deeply knowing it and it’s life, he learned to truly “see”.

Quaritch flies his ikran across the ocean along the coast to his base.

A huge nalutsa suddenly jumps out from under the water and grabs its caviar with its teeth, biting through the spine.

The colonel manages to jump off, but he also gets from the fangs of a predator. He falls into the water.

While the nalyutsa gnaws at his transport, he, in a panic, swims to the shore.

But she notices movement, and begins the pursuit.

Several arrows hit the predator, and it plunges under the water. Quaritch is saved. He is pulled out of the water. He heartily thanks the rescuers, mentioning that “this is not the first time today that his life was saved.”

An hour later, Quaritch is in the cage. He understands that he found himself not the best campaign for the evening.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, a full-fledged war of people with Metkayina is unfolding, several months long. Under the leadership of Jake and Tonowari, and with the help of several reef clans and Eywa herself, the Na'vi are victorious.

People have to fly back to their planet, and now it is not known how soon they will return, and whether they will return at all.

Quaritch, having been imprisoned all this time, hears a glimpse of what is happening from the locals, and realizes that perhaps the most important event in his life is passing without his participation.

But he does not sit idle. The locals speak a very different, unfamiliar dialect. They try to cut off his neural scythe, which he successfully fights back until he is left alone. While doing so, Miles notices that no one in the tribe has a scythe.

Another month passes, the reef clans heal after debilitating battles, say goodbye to the dead, celebrate the victory.

Jake receives information that Miles is being held by the Mangkwan clan. A clan of outcasts who have renounced ties with Eywa. He heard that they cut off the neuro-braids of newborns, and they eat the dead, grinding the bones into dust and using them in paint and other recipes, just not to give the bodies to Eiva. Children were told about them as horror stories.

Jake, Neytiri and the others are shocked that he has survived again. Spider begs Jake to get his father out. He says that it is better for them to judge him: execute him or keep him imprisoned, than for the clan that refused their Deity. If he dies there, he won’t even get to Eywa, they won’t let him, and that’s wrong by Na'vi standards.

Jake gives in, and agrees to talk to “these atheists,” with an offer of ransom.

Mangkwan is denied the exchange. As a result, Jake and a small team steal Miles under the cover of night, pressing the squeeze from the sleeping plant to his face to keep him from kicking.
