Pet names are so interesting to me.

Like, Shane would definitely call you baby. (If you have an argument against that I would genuinely love to hear it. Not in a confrontational way, it just seems like it’s a natural thing I see in a lot of fics, and I’d LOVE to hear a different take if there’s one out there.) But I bet he’d call you cutie too sometimes. You’d just be minding your business and he’d just look at you and smile and you’d be like “what?” and he’d just shake his head and go “fucking cutie.”

Harvey would call you sweetheart usually, both in and out of the bedroom (“that’s it, sweetheart. Just like that.”) Honey too, sometimes, but in a very domestic kind of way (“honey, have you seen my glasses?”)

Elliott would have a million pet names for you, darling being the most common (though he calls nearly everyone darling). He’ll call you honey in bed though. Like, honey, y’know? (“Oh honey, that feels good, doesn’t it? Look at you.”)

on a sidenote it bothers me how people seem to think that people who have poor hygine from depression just need a ‘wakeup call’ of sorts. when in reality, you really do just need to use empathy. That person very likely does know that their behavior is unhygenic, and it doesn’t always help to point it out. That’s not saying that someone might not need a push or help, but i think people fail to understand that in most cases it isnt a person feeling that hygine is unimportant, it’s an inability to take care of oneself due to them not seeing themselves as something worthy of taking care of. Or it’s due to a lack of motivation to do anything. or many other reasons. I just think it’s something that’s best treated with kindness and empathy..
