Personally, I feel late because this song has been out for over a year now and I try my best to stay on the music releases, but non the less this song is dope! The message is exactly right and something that I feel a lot of people still need to grasp while it’s easy to fall into and think you’re receiving the same feelings in return in most cases it’s a one-sided type of thing. So, for the Hamiltones to come out with this, but put it on a GROOVY beat takes a meaningful message and makes it fun to receive. Also, on the track is Ricco Barrino that has been throughout the music scene for some years now. The overall song is a hit, it would never get tiring to the ear in my opinion and just feels like the type of song that you play in the car in the summer time with the top down as you drive around the neighborhood. I’m a fan of the Hamiltones from the videos I’ve seen of them online joking and harmonizing with the heavy quartet sound. If you have a moment go take a listen to The Hamiltones ft. This week’s review is of the New album from Gospel Donald Lawrence “Goshen”. This album like many of his albums has something in it for everyone. I personally grew up in church all my life and grew up around the choir music era and since the 90s Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers have never disappointed from albums like Bible Stories, I Speak Life, Go Get Your Life Back and Many More. There has not been one album that has been a flop and this one is no different with features from Gospel vocal Giants like Jason Nelson, Le’Andria Johnson, Lejuene Thompson and many more! Take a listen whenever you get a chance I instantly was stuck on “Rewritten” which features Lejuene Thompson and Jason Nelson. Donald consistently gives us music for every mood, but the message that is embedded within every song will speak to you when you’re in need. If you have a moment go take a listen to the New Album from Donald Lawrence and The Tri-Singers “Goshen”, you won’t be disappointed!

Will McMillan - Best Thing
Will McMillan is someone that I’ve come to hear about in watching the 2019 Stellar Awards. He was a new artist that was new to the mainstream gospel scene, but from his sound and quality he’s not new to the music scene by a long shot. One of his Singles “Best Thing” comes from a Gospel Legend in James Cleveland “Jesus Is the Best Thing” Will McMillan took this classic and gave us all who know of the original exactly what we remember hearing it for the first time, but along with that he added a new flare to it giving us a modern soul feel with infectious strings and melodies embedded into the track. This song is a hit! Some can’t take a hit classic and redo it with a spin and receive a welcome embrace, but Will McMillan definitely did that with this one! I truly can’t wait to see and hear what it is next that he has up his sleeve. Take a listen to the next big name in Gospel to come!

Kirk Franklin’s - Long Live Love!!!
Finally an album that many have been waiting for, for some time now has finally released! Kirk Franklin’s “Long Live Love” I personally have been waiting for this album since he debut his new music at the 2019 Stellar Awards. Once again Uncle Kirk brought us that timeless sound we have been hearing for years now back since Kirk and the Family. The three singles that he so graciously gave us were nothing short of spectacular. From “Ok” that he released an official music video for to “Love Theory” to my personal favorite “Just for Me”. I never dive into music and love it off of the name of the artist. The music still has to mean something to me from the melody, to the rhythm to the harmonies and instrumentation to the lyrics. Everything has to be coheisive as one and this album was nothing short of great! I am a true fan of Kirk Franklin’s style and craft. If you haven’t taken a listen to the album please do!
