Shrael, for short. A member of the Shadow Dragonkin. There are 5 Dragonkin races. I spent a while on this one. As she's gonna set the tone for an entire race, so I wanted to get it right. I'm pretty happy with her. I'm not looking forward to painting on those spots every time... but such is art... =/

I’ve gone back and done edits to chapter one. AGAIN!. I am pretty darn sick of that chapter. But I guess that’s what happens when you learn what the hell your doing as you go.  Basically I’m trying to make it more palatable for Webtoon and Tapas, so I can post it there. So it’s more SFW. I also made her wolf design more consistent, And Her Werewolf boobs have been severely toned down. In retrospect, they looked a bit silly for a serious story. Maybe if it was a furry smut comic it would make sense... but it’s not.  The pages have been updated and are ready to read, again. qq-comic.com The NSFW bits of chapter one are now firmly behind the patreon pay wall. I’m gonna just desperately ignore the inconsistency or them having clothes, then not, then having them again. Lalalala!

Some Thumbnails for the next page I’m working on. It’s gonna be a lot of work. I guess I have a habit of trying to cram a lot into a little panel. Since one of my goals of the comic is for the story to move forward at a non-stop fast pace, I guess crowded panels is what I get.

finished a page. Took two weeks.:( Lotta life stuff came up, but it also has alot of panels... will hopefully post it next week. Since I Usually take two pages and mash ‘em together into the vertical scroll format.

Finally done retroactively drawing dog noses. Back to new pages! Yah know... the ones I wrote and thumbnailed half a year ago. hahahaha... SIGH, I also switched the pen I was using to clean up with. I like it, it’s got a slightly feathered edge, and the thick and thin variation is substantial. So I’m gonna start trying to get better at varying my line width.  previously I was using the default Gpen, and then the Lighter Pencil, that came with clip studio. This is a custom pen I got from DAUB. I decided a while ago to avoid creating my own custom brushes... learning to art with clip studio was daunting enough.

Currently updating the comic. Again. SO new pages a bit delayed. I Was omitting noses on the Lycan's. My logic being they were halfway between wolf and human, so the nose wouldn't be a fully formed dog nose. I changed my mind. So, I'm currently 3/4 of the way through OPERATION DOG NOSE. I will update all the pages when I'm finished. And get back to the new pages. Thanks for you patience. Making this comic is a constant learning experience. :)

I’m excited about the next batch of pages, where the gang gets to start adventuring/questing. I redesigned their outfits a bit. I want it to be believable that they’re on a long journey, and so they needed packs and stuff too. I Always love it when characters are laden down with gear to travel with. I’m gonna try and keep it simple though... cause every little detail is something ill have to draw again. over and over... =/

The website is done mostly. Chapter one and part of two is posted. And I’m finally back working on chapter two. Life is good.

While I’m failing at updating this blog. I did finally finish the re-draw of chapter one! Now I’m working on getting it all up on the internet again, and finalising the whole re-launch. I’m feeling much better about the whole thing. ANd I’m really happy with the wordpress theme I found Toocheke. It’s a very simple plug and go webcomic theme. Which is what I was desperately searching for before.  The site is almost done. Gotta re-do the Logo, and maybe the other graphics, and post the comic.

Tiny bit of work on the comic yesterday. This morning made myself a new profile Icon for the accounts. it’s not comic drawing.. but it’s still practice I guess.

Finished the page. Yesterday was a wash, combination of surprise mom visit and too many chores. But good ‘ol sunday, and friends to keep my kid occupied.  on to the next page. gonna start posting Low res imaged here, the high res final images will be avaiable, for free, on the website once it’s up.

finished inking the page. Got back into the old routine when I actually got stuff done. Wake up at 5am, have freedom active, (a scheduled internet blocker.) and just work all morning without distraction.  then get ready to be super tired at night. haha.
