What's a station without its master?

Following the sudden popularity of the Conductor Cousins I've decided to do the rest of the cast. I have 8 more planned (more below). Here's Stacey! She's my favorite from STS and deserves more love!

She shares a similar marching band theming with Mr. C, with some alternate details. I still kept her red because in my version she forms a trio with Mr. C and Billy (who wears green - foreshadowing!). Like Mr C i just combined different outfits to make a whole new one. She wears off-white or pink undershirts.

One of the biggest changes to her character is now she can use gold dust.! Since she and Mr. C are best friends, he's the one who taught her the secrets of GOLD DUST. However she can only use it through a vessel, which is why I gave her a whistle. It's a fairly standard one but still sparkly and fitting the music motif.

Her main engine is James, and yes i did pair them because they're both red. I also gave her a blue scarf to represent the NWR.

Now for backstory: Stacey was born in Indian Valley and was a childhood friend of Christopher Conductor. After graduating HS she moved away to pursue an acting career for several years, then returned to work for the railroad. Pretty much similar her OG backstory, except she also learned different types of magic during her travels. She still has 2 nephews & her sister Tracey; her brothers' names are Mason and Jason. I pictured STS to be set somewhere in Pennsylvania, it just fits and the east coast is closer to the UK.

Don't let that smile fool you she will handle you if you're being rude to her friends or patrons. Just ask Boomer.

I also made 2 versions of her suit: one based on rosie and the other on James.

Finally which characters im doing: im doing Billy, Schemer, Lily and Burnett Stone, Patch, and my self insert (more women yay). I'm also going to draw Boomer, who will serve as the Big Bad in the shining time reboot.

Sparkle sparkle sparkle!

Since my Junior redesign blew up on twitter I made Mr. Conductor if he was in AEG. His real name is Christopher now, as a reference to the Awdrys. Here, he's the new manager of Indian Valley railroad but everyone still calls him Mr. Conductor. Only close family and friends call him Chris. LADY is his traveling engine.

His new outfit is a combination of marching band uniforms and a musical conductor, connecting the stripes and buttons for easier animating. Instead of dark blue I gave him the same shade of blue the other railroad employees have. I think a brighter shade works best for the cartoony aesthetic AEG has.

To keep up with the music theming I turned his whistle into a flute that's shaped like Lady's funnel. He also has gold eyes to contrast Junior's blue ones, and symbolizes a deeper connection to the gold dust. If he loses that connection his eyes turn dull gray.

I combined Alec and Carlin's likenesses with Ringo's British heritage, I never understood if theyre supposed to be the same or different people so i decided to just combine the 3.

As for his role, he sometimes manages the NWR in Topham's stead, he also provides advice without relying too much on his magic. He also is a lot more stern with a certain diesel; I think Carlin's Mr. C wouldn't have stand for his crap. He's on good terms with Junior but gets annoyed with his pranks.

Oooh! I absolutely love these!

Since All Engines Go already throws realism away i might as well put the final nail in the coffin by adding magic to the mix. So i made a little drawing of Junior and what he could look like in the show.

I gave him the name Cedric because i thought it'd be funny if the Conductors real names started with the letter "C". He dislikes it though so just call him Junior. I also gave him a tan to show how much he spends outside. I did try to capture a little bit of Michael Rodgers likeness, and he looks off if i give him flat black irises.

In the movie Junior wore a ton of necklaces so to make things easier I reduced the number to just one. I changed his whistle to a conch shell (all hail the magic conch!). It's gold thanks to the power of the Dust. He still has his scarf, and it has magic like in the original scripts. In my mind AEG!Junior would have a new VA & Michael plays Mr. Conductor, kinda like a passing of the torch.

As far as his role is, he basically works as a general employee for Indian Valley Railroad. Sometimes he participates in surfing contests and just so happens to enter one hosted on Sodor. He makes another appearance to teach the little engines on conservation efforts to keep beaches clean. He's very lovely around kids so naturally i figured he'd make a good mentor... much to Gordon's chagrin.

He is highly susceptible to stress and anxiety due to adultification

He had a childhood friend named Rukia

He was there on the day of the incident at Shining Time Station

Darius is a gentle giant who will do everything and anything for his family. In order to give his mother, the chance to finish college for her degree, he became the households main breadwinner by getting a job, despite his mother and grandpa Schemer's protest. The job leaves Darius stressed and worn out, this often causes conflict between Romeo and him. However, once Romeo goes missing, Darius is quick to look for him along with Cleo. At first Darius sees the sentient vehicles of Sodor as threats to his siblings and attacked Flying Scotsman with a broom upon first meeting him. Over his time on Sodor, Darius is able to intergrade his family into life on the island, eventually moving there after getting hired by the Sodor Steamworks once Victor saw the young man's handywork with the Steam Team. While on Sodor, Darius gets the help he needs to manage his anxiety.

Darius and Flying Scotsman The two didn't start off on the right track at first, but the two have a mentor and student dynamic, with Darius helping Scotsman be a better brother towards Gordon. Scotsman helps Darius through his panic attacks and is Darius's first friends since being an adult.

I had to speedrun this since I completely forgot that Duck day was coming up before I went camping for a few days. But despite this not taking too long I really like how it turned out.
