The apparently sticky situation that you're in is actually one you can get out of, pretty much unscathed, if you take a moment to calm down and assess what's actually going on. You've blown it out of proportion in your mind, and you're stuck in that self-imposed prison of OMG, WHAT IF, BUT I KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE... Take a deep breath, have a glass of water, and try to look at it from a different angle. Talk to somebody about it, especially if they're involved in some aspect of it, to get their point of view, to try and get that needed shift of perspective.
