Genuine question since ive finally found this blog again and its feeding my gx muses. But how would Atem and Yugi react to Judai's scars or hearing about what happened in duel academy. Or would Judai try hiding it from them?

It’s been a really long time since I’ve been active here due to irl stuff, so I’m very very sorry it took so long to answer this question!

Atem and Yugi already have a vague idea of what’s going to go down at the academy, having met Judai twice already from the future. Unfortunately to avoid anything getting thrown out of whack, they can’t interfere too much, but in my au for the second half of season 3 they actually end up going to the other dimension with the group!

Since I don’t know when I’ll be returning to the blog, I’ll say this: Atem actually ends up ‘dying’ in the other dimension. I haven’t settled on how, but it will be before Judai becomes the Supreme King. Yugi, on the other hand, I do have plans that I won’t spoil just yet.

The two of them are always worried about Judai after sending him to duel academy, keeping in contact with headmaster Samejima on the goings on there. Were it not for fear of both screwing up the timeline and unintentionally sparking Judai’s old guilt and feel of being ‘cursed’, they may have pulled him from the academy in an attempt to keep him safe. Since they couldn’t, they instead did as much for him as they could in the background, and tried to help him as much as possible after he graduated, despite his decision to leave home to travel the world.

I wonder what a Neos and Rainbow Dark Dragon would look like…

I mean… Most of the other heroes got an Evil Hero version of their fusions…….

Maybe I’ll try designing one. It would be good for a thing I wanna do eventually with King >:3c

Prrrrrooobably not gonna do anything else with werewolf (weremanedwolf? @-@) Judai but he was fun to draw! He’s mostly for a rp verse with me and some friends xD It was my first time drawing a maned wolf too, so it was a good learning experience

Also before anyone says anything: The colors of his fur are intentionally clashing. I meant it to be a sort of chaotic mix between him and Yubel.

So my friends and I came up with an idea for a werewolf Judai

So I haven’t watched arc-v yet but my friend has been telling me the basic summary to help me prepare to watch it and he sent me a video on a theory that Yuya Yuto Yugo and Yuri are fusions of Zarc with Yugi Yuma Yusei and Judai respectively and

My heart

Is not okay

Cause if that theory holds true that means that after everything he overcame Judai’s ultimate fate is to fall to his darkness once again

Edit: this also throws a wrench in some “future” comics I wanted to do with immortal Judai, but I’ll just have to bullshit a way around it

I had a thought, and I’m working on another video with this thought

Considering Judai didn’t immediately become the supreme king after his friends died and Sho left, do you think he knew what was happening to him and was fighting it?

Imagine, his mind has just gone through a huge mental fracture, and he’s discovered this side of himself that is obsessed with power (or perhaps so scared of losing that he obsessively works to become the strongest and most feared), but he says nothing of it to Austin and Jim because in his mind he’s already hurt his friends enough, he doesn’t need to saddle them with this now. So, he fights it on his own, he keeps quiet and pushes that side of him away.

But it doesn’t work, and he’s terrified that he’s going to hurt the few friends he has left, so he runs off on his own. Eventually he gives in, his will too broken to fight back against this new side of himself, and sinks further and further into his own darkness as the Supreme King takes hold.

I remember that in your headcanons post, that Judai forgives Sho for snapping and saying that all the rumors are true but... What if Judai still forgives Sho, but he doesn't accept Sho's apologies because he believes that Sho is/was right? That Judai doesn't think Sho should be sorry/was in the wrong because Judai believes that the rumors *are* true. That he is really cursed and it was just time that his friends (Sho) realized it?

Honestly that’s an incredibly good point. Rather than answering Sho’s apologies with “I forgive you” he’d probably instead say “You don’t have to apologize.” Of course, Judai seems to often try to shoulder all his problems alone for fear of burdening others, so he probably wouldn’t ever actually speak up about believing that he’s cursed knowing that it would just make his friends worry and Sho feel even more guilty.

So about the monsters being real in the Shadow Games and other worlds…

Ive been wanting to do a ref sheet for scars for the characters on this blog for a while, and I decided to start with Judai. The wing scars and purple blotches are personal headcannons about Yubel manifesting parts of their body onto Judai’s like they did with Amon, Martin, and Cobra.

My handwriting is bad, so let me put captions below:

Y’know it dawned on me that Judai probably actually has an excuse

I don’t know why it never occurred to me that his physical resistance, stamina, strength, and dexterity probably got a big buff thanks to fusing with Yubel

Still though, that blast was rough

Okay but no one can convince me that Judai and Yugi did not have at least a broken or cracked rib or two in Bonds Beyond Time like

Yugi had buildings and debris falling all around him and probably on him at least a little, there was way too much debris for him to avoid all of it

And Judai took a full force attack from Stardust Dragon that Neos couldn’t block that threw him back so hard into a brick wall that it broke

Judai at the very least should not have gotten out of there with ‘just a scratch’ if I recall the subbed lines correctly.

So for the nuzloke I mentioned before me and my friends are playing as Jaden(played by me -3-), Joey, and Kaiba

And in true to character fashion, Kaiba’s already beaten two gyms, Joey’s not far behind, and Jaden’s just trying to have fun whilst desperately keeping his Pokémon alive

Also my friends put Joey and Kaiba in skirts

The first comic is gonna be amazing

My friends and I are starting a group nuzloke for the new Pokémon games

Me and one of my friends are playing as Jaden and Joey

So, I may do little comics for that too, so look forward to that! We start tomorrow but as usual comics take time so it’ll be gradual when they come out

It’s been requested I turn the angery Judai comic into a full on story

I’ve got a couple ideas bouncing in my head, so I’ll start working through those and get a plot together. It’s gonna take time, I need to put together decks for the characters and plan out the duels and such, plus I wanna do just some typical shadow games like those in the manga and in season 0 of the show.

It’s gonna be a while, but I’ll be working on it.

In the meantime, I’ll get back to trying to stay linear with the blog plot comics. The next one I’m working on is a comic where Kaiba and Mokuba discuss what to do about Judai’s request to send Yubel to space.
