A self love night time routine 🌙🧸🪞🤍✨
Your night time routine is all about dedicating time to yourself. Your routine should be tailored to what makes YOU feel relaxed, loved, and cared for. You can add or modify any of these steps to make it perfect for you.
Cleanse & skin care routine. This isn’t just about hygiene. Cleansing your skin can also cleanse the day's stresses away. Remove makeup (if you wear it). Use a gentle cleanser. Apply toner, serums, or treatments if you use them. Moisturize to keep your skin hydrated.
Spend a few minutes decluttering and organizing so you can go to sleep with a clear mind.
Prepare for tomorrow. Pick out your clothes, prepare your lunch and create your to do list so you wake up with a plan of action.
Set aside electronics, especially those that might interrupt your relaxation (phones, laptops). Put them on the other side of the room, or another room to avoid distractions.
Spend a few minutes journaling or meditating on your day. Write down three things you're grateful for as well as your achievements or progress.
Make a herbal tea or warm milk. Stay away from caffeine, they will interfere with your sleep.
If you enjoy baths, now might be the time to have one with calming salts or essential oils. If you prefer showers, use this time to enjoy the sensation of the water, rather than rushing through it.
Spend a few minutes practicing deep breathing, grounding exercises, or meditation to calm your mind.
Choose a book, avoid anything too stimulating or stress inducing.
Stand in front of a mirror and speak kind words to yourself. Use positive affirmations that resonate with you, like “I am worthy of love and happiness” or “I did my best today, and that's enough.”
Dress in comfortable nightwear, ensuring your sleeping environment is cozy. This could be clean sheets and a comfortable pillow.
Dim the lights, play calming music or nature sounds, or use an essential oil diffuser with lavender or chamomile.
Before closing your eyes to sleep, visualize a peaceful scene or a memory that makes you happy.
As you lie in bed, silently express gratitude for the day. Set a positive intention for the next day.
Get full night's sleep. Make sure you’re getting 7-9 hours depending on your personal needs.

Every season of your life serves a purpose
everything is teaching you who to become and how to get what you want
Just because you have a goal and a plan, Does not mean you truly understand who you need to become to get there
The bigger picture has many roads
Flow with the seasons and learn the lessons instead of focusing on the emotions it could evoke in you
Your intuition will help you decipher between what feels right and what feels good
What feels bad and what is challenging you to grow
Always choose growth
Always choose right

Go where you are treated well, valued, loved and appreciated
You don’t tell people how to treat you
You show them how to treat you by how you treat yourself
If you love yourself, they will love you
If you take care of yourself, they will take care of you
If you are consistent, they will be consistent with you
People are a reflection of you
If you have attracted people who do not reciprocate a behavior, it might be because you truly don’t embody who you think you are
It may also be that you are expecting someone to see your worth where they are not as evolved as you are to see it
It all still goes back to the people you are choosing and attracting
It all goes back to you

I may not know who you are now and I may not love you now but I loved you and that love from the past goes nowhere — it stays here right in my being. Love is not punctuated by tenses, it’s not done away with by time. Once love comes into existence it stays. Maybe frozen like heart shaped iced cubes in an elderflower iced tea that I’ve left, a glass I will never pick up again but it stays in my home. And the iced tea I already sipped on, a part of my body, never to leave, neither through sweat nor through peeing. Maybe tears? Only through tears.
But I no longer cry half as much as I used to when I was younger. Now at twenty seven, I can’t afford to luxuriate in my emotions like that. So I smoke and drink and overwork and brain numb through meaningless conversations and one off encounters with men and women and people I half heartedly immerse myself in for an evening, for a night, for a Sunday afternoon picnic at a park we all wish wasn’t this crowded.
See, I loved you. And that meant something to me. That’s not going anywhere. The ice cubes persist, no matter the weather. No matter my refusal to take another sip. They persist in a way we could not. I hope you’re happy. No, actually I hope you’re stable. Let me hope for more important things. Happiness is flimsy, stability is strength. And you were always strong no matter the lemons life showered at you ever so frequently.
If you could sell every lemon that life sent your way, you could buy that red brick home in Bangalore and also a sea facing one in Mumbai and then tell me, wouldn’t you have me over? I’d bring fruit and kiss your cheek and hug you for seven minutes and then some more. This time, I’ll make my own drink and then I’ll listen to all your stories with an enthusiasm I haven’t felt since I said goodbye to you.
Those I call my own now, I feel increasingly distant from. Is that why there’s this sharp inclination towards strangers? If home doesn’t feel like home then will strangers feel like what home was promised to feel like? Extremes. He says that my problem. I’m sure you’d agree with him. No, first you’d defend me. When it came to others, you’d always fiercely defend me. Only you had the right to attack my personality. I don’t exactly know when I gave you that right but I did and you were making the most of it.
I miss you. And so I’ll send love and light your way. It’s this thing I do now. Whoever I miss, I don’t reach out. I’ve learned that there’s no point — who I’m missing doesn’t exist right now. So, yes, take all this love and take all this light and find and keep the stability you need to live this life. I’ll wish you the best always. I understand. It’s okay. Loved you. But never going to take another sip again.

Dear Stranger,
It seems like it was only yesterday that I am looking forward to the start of a new year and, voila! June is almost done! 😲And that simply signifies we're almost halfway through 2023. I believe congratulations are still in order despite having a hodgepodge of life events that weren't all light and dandy.
For me, this is a very important pivot. It's almost a year since I left my previous job. I recall my state last year around this time. Then, I was lost and unsure about what my life will be after leaving a job that almost defined my existence for nearly a decade. Paired with the exhaustion brought by the pandemic, I was driven into this need for a much needed break, a life away from the grind. My own version of slow living.
I left the city, paused my graduate studies, and decided to go back to my hometown.
My current job is definitely godsent. It's related to my old job, better paying, less stressful, and still as fulfilling. Although it will most likely be temporary, I want to make the most of it this year. I have the opportunity to spend time with my family. Maybe moving forward, we could build traditions we've missed building because we've all been very busy in the past. I have started to work on aspects of myself I feel I've neglected for the sake of fulfilling society's expectations.
I think I have come home to me.
For the remaining half of the year, I want to make the most of being 'home'.
Happy half of the year, everyone!

Enjoy the here and now.
Today is a good day
I met my friends and enjoyed coffee, soup and club sandwich.
I might be alone now but I know somewhere, someone is wishing that in the future they gonna meet me and say "Thank God, I found you."

We over complicate the most simplest things because we think to ourselves “it can’t be this easy?” Learn to lean into your natural gifts. Things should be easy. They should feel natural. It means they are meant for you and you are deserving of it. If something doesn’t feel “hard” it’s the exact thing you should be going after ✨

Basic Financial Rules To Live By 💰✨
Create a plan that shows how much money you get and how much you spend. This helps you see where your money goes.
Set aside a part of your money as savings. Try to save at least 10-20% of what you earn.
Be careful with borrowing money, especially if you have to pay back a lot of extra money (interest).
Save some money for unexpected things like medical bills or losing your job. Aim to have enough to cover your living costs for a few months.
Put your saved money into different things that can make it grow, like stocks or real estate. Be patient, as it takes time.
Don't spend more money than you make. Stick to buying what you really need, not just what you want.
Decide what you want to do with your money, both in the short term (like a vacation) and long term (like retirement).
Set up automatic transfers to your savings and bills so you don't forget to save or pay your bills on time.
Make saving money a top priority before spending on other things.
Regularly look at your money situation, adjust your plan as needed, and see how your investments are doing.
Pay your bills on time and use credit wisely (like credit cards) to keep a good credit score, which can help you get better deals on loans.
Save money for when you're older and don't work anymore. Use retirement accounts to help with this.
Think before you buy things. Don't buy something just because you want it; think if it's necessary.
Keep learning about how money works and how to make smart money choices.
Only use your emergency fund for real unexpected problems, not for things you just want to buy.
