”But you can grow, Effie thought. You have already grown, in fact. You simply haven’t noticed it because you are constantly looking at the sky and not back down at your roots.”

getting closer to the Bloodmarked release, so let me REMIND YOU that Bree Matthews is the protagonist. She is King. NOT those white boys. If you are pretending she doesn't exist or making her the villain of your ff, i am IN your WALLS

One of the things that makes David Tennant so compelling as the Doctor is his classical training. I don’t know what it is, but magic happens when you throw a classically trained actor into a sci-fi role (also fantasy).
Think Patrick Stewart as Picard or Ian McKellen as Magneto or James McAvoy as Leto II or Anthony Hopkins as Robert Ford.
It’s so interesting to watch these actors be characters that are literally larger than life. They seem to fill in all the unspoken gaps and layer their performances. It makes them so captivating.

some books read in 2022: the very secret society of irregular witches by sangu mandanna
An absent archaeologist, a housekeeper, a librarian, a gardener, a retired actor, and three unlikely witches. As backstories went, it was one of the weirdest Mika had ever heard.

are you actually reading for fun or is it to distract your mind from the current state your life is in and to keep you in a blissful fantasy where all the monsters could be slayed and problems could be solved with simply the turn of a page?
