Just wanted to say as someone who’s special interest is vampires I loovvee your vampire black sapphire headcanon and I get so excited every time it comes up

and like... when i first saw black sapphire, it was really all i could think of for him to be? realistically speaking what would fit him most would probably be a psychic/energy vampire of some sort (considering his rumor show, it's probably super easy for him to feed on that energy since he's the one drumming it up). but also having him be a default bloodsucker is my guilty pleasure so i usually just go with that (also since its what most ppl think when u say vampire anyways lol)

it also... made me start to headcanon the different types of blood cookies can have LMAO. i mostly did it for background spirepeak lore, but its moment has passed so i can share my notes on em~

jam - blood

made using real fruit, naturally sweet on its own. canonically blood for cookies, strawberry jam is the most common "blood type" for cookies

corn syrup - fake blood

for use in creating homunculi. man-made and manufactured, it's made from a natural source and used to unnaturally sweeten things. falls nicely into a little grey area of, "we dont know if this is human, but its close enough?" lmao. candy apple has this blood. jampires can't drink it

honey - godly ichor

explanatory. godly figures have this blood. sugar swan, millennial tree, the elementals, the awakened heroes, the virtues before their corruption, ect.

molasses - corrupted ichor

a byproduct of the refining of sugarcane into sugar -> sugar being pure, but molasses being its byproduct, perfect metaphor for corruption. the beasts and dark enchantress have this. timekeeper (?). black pearl and abyss monarch probably also have this as well

Pv is genuinely a great person and is probably doing a great job as co-knowledge, but very funny to imagine fount's gay gaze making things worse by making pv seem much better than reality. You know how when you are deeply infatuated, and anything your crush does or say just seems perfect and endearing. Like that, except fount doesn't know about the crush and thinks thon is being 100% objective towards thon's "rival"

What would make fount more upset in the au, the witches also naming pv fount of knowledge, same title; or the witches giving fount a different title since thon no longer has the full souljam of knowledge (I know it's more likely fount remains fount of knowledge, and pv gets something entirely new, but hypothetically)

logistically speaking they Couldn't get away with either option funny as they would be for torturing the guy. public confusion would be too big an issue and pure vanilla would probably decline it on the outset as soon as he learned it had been taken already. actually thinking about it pv "backtalking" the witches and getting away with it is another thing the fount would be insanely jealous over so maybe the witches very visibly debated the idea for like five minutes. just enough to instill a bit of Primal Fear Of God into thon 😚

the initial leaks when the desktop asst. started damaging people's systems wasn't of his own volition, the destructive streak on his part was a cry for help via the increasingly strange and specific error/shutdown msgs the program was logging but that just led to a deep dive in a completely different direction that later pointed fingers at his parent company for seemingly taking huge swaths of user data without consent (it was the founts fault, granted, but its not like a sentient hivemind-esque program can just Forget The Shit You Tell And Show It like he was supposed to). basically in an attempt to be Truly Seen he ended up getting himself shitcanned. Adn thats why shadow milk hates humanity! Peace and love!

What is your opinion about other Beast x Ancient ships? (Burningcheese, Mysticacao, Eternalberry, Silentlily)

all of them are Based though none have captured my interest nearly as strong as shadowvanilla for myriad reasons. i'm very curious to see what the play for silentlily will be in canon given the beast yeast arc feels like its been a gradual progression from least canon to most canon pairing and at the pace we're rolling salts gonna take off his helmet just so those two can kiss on screen or some shit

adding onto your gender hcs… shamil is very androgynous in presentation and we already know he likes to experiment with his gender expression in canon… i feel like said gender expression doesn’t necessarily correlate with his gender identity at all times. i think sometimes he’ll get dressed up and present very femme but still exclusively use he/him just because he likes to feel pretty… and like you said the same goes vice versa. i don’t think he restricts himself to one set of pronouns or one “true” presentation. he views gender as a performance for sure

i have no idea what this could be referring to but i think fount of knowledge and lily Just In General would have a fun handshake. guardian lily in particular is Interesting though given she has that status because of everything going on w/ the beasts & elder faerie and yadda yadda so her interacting with the Past Version of The Guy Who Killed Her Bestie would probably sour things considerably for her. strong overtone of resentment there that fount has no context for so they're both just kind of assholes to each other LOL

There's probably several areas where fount is better than pv, but not like thon would notice due to the new inferiority complex

MOST CERTAINLY pure vanilla (i pause mid sentence to visibly consider giving him a virtue title for this psuedo-au discussion) better handles the Social Aspect of the now-shared virtue of Knowledge, mediating delegating reassuring cookiekind through Truth etc, and has not directly inherited nearly as much a Wellspring of worldly information. but the fount who is already Actively Spiraling by the time bro shows up of course regardless takes this whole exercise as "we have made another cookie of knowledge who is better than you in Every Way" and it takes a while for thon to recognize that pure vanilla in fact leans on thon for guidance just as much if not More than other cookies do, per thons raw magic prowess and Truth as driven predominantly by Logic. these two are destined to annoy the fuck out of eachother in evwury universe 😍
