so I have this AU idea for an adrimi fic in which Kagami is the black cat and Luka is the ladybug, but I’m not really a writer plus I’m a lazy butt so this is taking forever. Here’s a wip:

Trying to prove Gabriel Agreste was Hawkmoth wasn’t an easy task, but getting herself stuck into stalking the house of one of her fencing partners was simply weird.

Just where was Luka anyway? 

Kagami sighed as she checked her baton for any updates on her partner’s whereabouts. He was the one who convinced her to do this, so where exactly was he now? If he got distracted playing his guitar again she swore she–

“Uhm… Hello?”

A voice startled her and cut off her thoughts. Adrien Agreste in pajamas was staring at her from the window of his bathroom, his eyebrow raised in confusion.

“Uh,” Kagami stared back at him, lost of words. She had met Adrien while in costume several times since he seemed to attract quite a lot of akumas, so it wasn’t the first time she interacted with him as a superhero, but how could she explain the fact that she was caught trying to look for a way to sneak into his house?

Lukanette headcanons

- they are one of those couples that where one is smooth af the other is a flustered mess; it becomes quite the game till they get used to each other.

- dancing? what’s dancing? one gets a bit too excitable and clumsy and messes up the steps; the other just does not know how to move his body. between the two of them, Marinette’s the better dancer, if she gets focused. though the two are more than fine just dancing for fun and being silly.

- when Marinette’s creating, Luka likes to play his guitar, to be her white noise and to practice a few songs.

- Luka’s mind was blown when he learned Marinette designed a cover to Jagged Stone and the two are good friends; its Marinette who gets the idea to ask the rockstar if he’s up to play a few songs with her bf.

- Marinette makes and fixes outfits for Kitty Section.

- double dates with Julerose, triple dates with Myvan. Quadruple with DJWifi.

- Adrien is happy that everyone is happy; though is bummed and jealous that LB is dating someone. Plagg encourages him to just have a happy life with cheese for you can’t go wrong with cheese.

- Alya adores the Lukanette; she’s just happy her girl is happy. Same goes for Marinette’s parents. Juleka’s all for it and Anarka loves that such a spirited girl is with her son, that fire is welcomed in the family.

- Luka likes to think he can handle all nighters and stay up all night with Marinette while she works (he cannot, 2 am is his limit and Marinette always stops to get him a blanket).

- if she pulls an all nighter when tomorrow is a day off, they spend the whole day snuggling and cuddling and catching up on sleep.

- Marinette the physically affectionate will not be stopped; she likes to lean on him, wrap her arms around his, flop on him when distressed. Sometimes will even lay/sit on him when she’s sketching.

- Luka the soft affectionate, likes to sneak in small kisses and rest his hands and arms on her shoulder. Sometimes he leans on her, and has to squat a little to rest his chin on her head.

- Luka is surprised how much tea the Dupain-Chengs drink; Marinette unknowingly gets him addicted. Through Marinette, Luka also develops a fondness for gardening.

- Luka gets Marinette into meditating; it was a struggle at first because she kept falling asleep, but now its a good relaxer for her. She, Fu, Tikki, and Wayzz will all sit and meditate together once she gets into it. Fu enjoys this time.

- It takes a while for Luka to learn he’s dating Ladybug, and it explains so much. Marinette the whole time was stressed about keeping it secret and was dying to tell him, only for Tikki to stop her.

- Post reveal, he worries and stresses so much, he can’t turn his eyes away from the news. He knows she’ll make it and win but there’s always that what if. There are a lot of times Luka wished he had his own miraculous to help. To be there too. If things get a little too close, the next time they see each other, Marinette’s greeted with a tight hug.

- Tikki was a leery about a civilian knowing, but the two get along splendidly. Luka is mystified by the little kwami, can get this sense of how ancient and wise she is, and as the kwami of creation, she always knows how to help him when he’s stuck on a song.

- Tikki likes Luka, thinks his easy going nature is a good counter to Marinette’s energy, and he’s a another creator, it allows all three to connect well.

- Tikki does stress caution, especially since Luka’s limited on defending himself.

- One time while bakery sitting, Luka encourages Tikki to live her dream, to bake. He will handle the heavy stuff. It was a struggle but they were successful. Marinette was surprised to come back to find kwami and bf covered in flour and batter.

- Luka and Marinette encourages all forms of creativity in their kids

- When Luka is left on his own to watch the kids, the household gets messy quickly and it’s a bit of a scramble to get it all clean before Marinette gets back, if not a weekend is spent cleaning. Marinette understands the importance of chaos, but so help her, her home is not going to be as bad as her mother-in-law’s.

- Jagged Stone has ultimately adopted them as his own grandkids and Marinette finds herself constantly struggling immensely to keep everyone (her husband, parents, best friends, mentor) from spoiling them.

I can’t get over how when Ladybug saves Luka, the first thing he asks about is Marinette and if she’s okay and then goes on to tell Ladybug how brave and amazing she is while Ladybug, who has the hearts of everyone, is right in front of him. And other than gratefulness for saving them, he pays her no mind and is 100% focused on Marinette and I love it so much. In his eyes, Marinette saved the day.

I am so on board for the Marinette deserves to be told how great she is by this precious emo boi. I don’t care if it’s not endgame or whatever - you’re allowed to fall in love more than once, especially at that age and honestly, you really should. This episode held so many character developmentsas Marinette questioned whether or not it was time to move on because waiting for Adrien was hurting her. And like?? Good for her?? For recognizing that??

And watching it develop Marinette and Adrien as characters would be fantastic. Also I LOVE the “girl in love with her friend’s cool older brother” trope because let’s be real, some of us have seriously been there before.

Miraculous Episode 12 Spoilers

I know everyone is annoyed that this is going to be our only time seeing Luka because the creator’s pattern of building up characters for weeks or months and only showing them one episode then they seemingly disappear from the universe. But let’s talk about that, specifically how did their episode end.

If you remember Lila’s episode ending with the “Marinette, we’ll never be friends.” And she was also on bad terms with Adrien. And she walked away.

Kagami: Her episode ended with her saying she respected Adrien as her rival and sparked the “So you like Mari?” Thing even tho they weren’t close. And she walked away.

So what’s the difference between our past love rivals and Luka? Luka was actually kind to everyone, understanding, didn’t get in the way, and was genuinely worried when his mom was akumatized and he was not akumatized that’s a big thing. He wasn’t, he witnessed it. The 2 I mentioned before were one time villains and there isn’t any reason for them to be akumatized again so there’s no reason for them to come back unless they decide that Lila did actually join the class.

Luka is the sibling of a main(ish) character and is similar age. And my main point. It ended with him on great terms with both of them and he didn’t walk away. It ended with him shaking hands with Adrien and Marinette and watching the loves of her life all very close. In conclusion, if the creators aren’t dicks, we’ll see our emo bi boy again
