I came out to my friends first. My parents reacted really well and talked to me about it and hugged me. My father, however, had a bit of trouble with it and needed a long time to come to terms with it. He even didn't speak to me for a week. Anyway, I was already 24 at the time. When everything was OK again, I came out publicly on Facebook. There were no bad reactions from other people. Now I have the best relationship with my parents.
