The fact that Etho didn't rebuild the statues... that it was Joel who (re)built them after Etho gave him a PROTOTYPE is just so cute and sweet.

When they were talking last week Etho specifically said he hoped the statues didn't cause any problems, and Joel said they were in the way of his terraforming but he moved them. Which Etho remembered and so this time he didn't build on Joel's base.

Etho truly is in his Ethowo phase where he's bashfully leaving gifts for Joel, hoping they don't annoy him too much.
