Tailwind On Tapas & Webtoon!

Thank you so much for following Tailwind for the last year and change! The comic is making its debut on both Tapas and Webtoon today, with updates on both platforms coming on the first Tuesday of every month.

The most recent updates will still continue their weekly schedule on the Tailwind website in higher res and always free. These formats are mostly to help folks who want to consolidate their reading and keep track of updates! It's been part of my dream to tell a story without financial barriers, though donations through ko-fi are always appreciated.

I've been working on this on and off for about a year, but I dusted it off when I started my gt9 reread. I've always wanted to do fan covers for the books, but I struggled to pull off the idea I had in my head for a long time. I decided to let the piece change from my original vision, and it turned into something with a sort of gothic syth-wave vibe. I ended up really liking where it went! I have plans to do Harrow and Nona's books too, which I hope will be easier now that I've got this new plan of attack ^^ I also have an inlking of an idea for the Alecto cover, but I'd prefer to do that once I've read the book.

Theres this thing I love that artists do when they draw vampires and give them like a cartoonishy unique skin tone, like a bright pink or a ghoulish blue. It's so creative and cool and otherworldly. I gotta draw a vampire

Starting on March 4th I will be posting Tailwind on both Tapas and Webtoon. Update schedule will begin with the prologue, followed by 4 pages on the first Tuesday of every month.

As always, weekly page updates will still come every Tuesday on tailwindcomic.com in high res and always free of charge.

It's really important to me for Tailwind to remain accessible. Donations via ko-fi are always appreciated.

Passed the head-in-the-closet part of gt9 last night. I have a couple scenes from this book that I'd love to illustrate y'know... I might be able to do the shorter one I have in mind (Gideon having nightmares after the 4th house k.o.) though I'd also love to do the 8th house soul siphoning scene from when they find the 5th's bodies. I bookmarked both for later. I figure I haven't seen others do those ones as much so why not?
