the AGA comic market was pretty quiet but good! I met so many nice people and practiced my Tailwind pitch a bunch. It's still nervewracking to put my art out there though, and not selling much can be hard. Fingers crossed for the other 3 markets I've got lined up this year! I'm so excited for TCAF in June.

/venting - I wanna be successful as an artist but I feel like one of my big hurdles is social media... Tumblr is where I've found a community but I find it really really hard to grow myself online because I just hate posting on other sites ;; I find it really overwhelming to have to do all the tagging and alt text, and then I find it not all that rewarding. People don't really comment much anywhere else... On tumblr I get to see people's tags and really feel appreciated or like I made a connection y'know?

Tailwind On Tapas & Webtoon!

Thank you so much for following Tailwind for the last year and change! The comic is making its debut on both Tapas and Webtoon today, with updates on both platforms coming on the first Tuesday of every month.

The most recent updates will still continue their weekly schedule on the Tailwind website in higher res and always free. These formats are mostly to help folks who want to consolidate their reading and keep track of updates! It's been part of my dream to tell a story without financial barriers, though donations through ko-fi are always appreciated.
