Trans and intersex people in the UK need you to be loud and angry about the new "deception as to sex" guidance released which makes trans and intersex people legally guilty of rape if we don't disclose our gender identity and/or the sex we were assigned at birth to sexual partners.
This is particularly going to harm trans and intersex sex workers, who often have a higher number of sexual partners who we might keep our trans or intersex identity from for our safety.
"To summarize this guidance in the simplest terms, it treats a trans or intersex person not disclosing their gender identity and/or the sex they were assigned at birth as a form of deception which negates consent."
"This interpretation of part of the existing Sexual Offences Act (2003) places an unreasonable burden on trans and intersex people to inform our sexual partners of our medical history, while no such burden is placed on cis perisex people who are allowed to rely on assumption."

I just want to remind everyone how affordable buying food from indigenous tribes is. I live in a major city and I was able to purchase and ship (15) pounds of fish from back home to myself for cheaper than I could buy it from a grocery store here in the city. Yeah, shipping has its own environmental factors but I was able to support an indigenous owned business while also getting my groceries at a lesser cost. (Buying in bulk is always a good idea if you’re planning on having something shipped to you)
Some tribal owned grocers that ship:
Bow and Arrow (Ute Mountain)
Native Harvest (White Earth)
Red Lake Fishery (Red Lake)
Wozupi (Mdewakanton Dakota)
Ramona Farms (Gila River)
Tanka Bars (Oglala)
Indian Pueblo Store (Pueblos)
Twisted Cedar Wine (Cedar Paiutes)
Ute Bison (Ute)
Seka Hills Olive Oil and Vinegars (Yocha Dehe Wintun)
She Nah Nam Seafood (Nisqually)
Sakari Botanicals (Inupiaq)
Honor the Earth (? Anishinaabe)
Nett Lake Wild Rice (Boise Forte Anishinaabe)
Passamaquoddy maple (Passamaquoddy)
BONUS: coffee :)
Yeego Coffee (Navajo)
Spirit Mountain Roasting (Yuma Quechan)
Birchbark Coffee (Anishinaabe)
Thunder Island Coffee (Shinnecock)

There's a phenomenon in left-wing circles where initially reasonable statements and concepts get repeated ad nauseum until they not only lose their meaning but transform into deeply bigoted ideas.
The idea "there is no single white culture," is true because white is a concept created to describe the powerful position in Western societies. There are many different cultures, who's members are often white. But this idea became "white people have no culture" which is just not true, deeply dehumanizing, and harmful, especially to people who look white but experience marginalization because of their culture.
Another example might be cultural appropriation, which perhaps should be understood as a misrepresentation or exploitation of the cultural practices of another, especially where the person exploiting does so for personal gain, without acknowledgment. But now, people have basically transformed this into "when somebody does something from a culture they weren't raised in" or "when a particular race or ethnicity behaves in a way that's different from how they normally do" which promotes racial and cultural stereotypes and attempts to control the behaviors of people based on their race, ethnicity, and culture.

Green eyes shouldn’t actually be considered an eye color. It’s just not common enough, it’s a VERY SMALL percentage of the population, 1-2%. Green eyes are also caused by an irregular mutation. Most people have blue or brown eyes, so those are the two eye colors.
All the “green eyes” positivity is actually a bad thing, by the way. Having green eyes is linked to higher rates of retinal melanoma. You’re celebrating something dangerous that can cause suffering.
And besides, most people with “green eyes” lean closer to blue or brown anyways. They should just make up their minds and be brown eyed or green eyed. And if it’s too hard to tell, they should get corrective surgery (because green eyes are dangerous, and associated with more difficult medical care!) or at the least wear contacts so they don’t confuse people. But also they should be required to
I hate to sound like this, but green eyes are a far more recent development than blue eyes in the mutagenic history of humans. So humans weren’t created to have green eyes.
And hazel eyes? Those are just a variant of brown eyes—come on, they’re far closer to brown than green. They just have a couple greenish traits. And there’s no way there’s that many green eyed people, or a wide variety of eye colors… It’s just not natural.
I don’t have a problem with green eyed people, they didn’t ask to be born that way—but there’s just too few of them for it to be an actual eye color. We don’t need all this “green eye positivity” or putting green eyes in media. The internet is making people delude themselves into thinking it’s more common than it really is.
‼️ THIS POST IS ABOUT THE TREATMENT OF INTERSEX PEOPLE ‼️

Help an intersex family in Gaza!
Hi everyone. I'd like to share about a fundraiser that is very important to me. A good friend of mine is in contact with the organizers.
Tumblr media
(Described in alt).
Their story:
"Hello, my name is Abeer. I'm organizing this fundraising campaign from Belgium on behalf of my family, who currently live in Gaza.
Since October 7, all families in Gaza have been subjected to genocide. My family is one of those families that has had to flee its own home several times because of the threat of regular attacks.
After two months, my family decided to return home and take the risk of being bombed at any moment rather than stay in the street. Our 4-floor building now contains over 100 people who have fled from different parts of Gaza. We always open our hearts for our own people, but we can't do it without your help and support.
My parents, Kamal (53) and Moukaram (51), are suffering from the war because of their age and health. My brother Suliman, his wife Rawan Abualnaja and their two-year-old daughter Bisan are trying to stay strong, but it's complicated by their little daughter's enormous needs. My other siblings who are not married are Mohammed 25, Inas 22, Ibrahim 17, Abdallah 15.
My family medical condition during the war:
My father suffers from delusional disorders. He can't work or help my family financially. Mohammed and Ibrahim suffer from a chronic disease, congenital adrenal hyperplasia. It is difficult for them to obtain medication in Gaza. One of their medicines has not been available in Gaza for two years. During the war, they couldn't get their medicines because they simply didn't exist anymore. My family members are still suffering. They don't want to be potential victims. They want to escape death and live like other families on the planet.
On 01/01/2024, they attacked the local mosque and the missile failed to explode and ended up in front of my family's house. My family is in danger and the missile will explode any second.
Since then, my family has decided to be evacuated from Gaza because of the senseless attack on our city. Please help me evacuate my family to Egypt so that they can rebuild their lives in peace.
I've been in Belgium for over five years. I feel useless because I haven't been able to do much except try to help them with their daily living expenses. That's why we created this campaign. We're raising funds to evacuate my family to Egypt, a place that offers a glimmer of hope and stability. However, the cost of the evacuation is high, hence our call for crowdfunding.
Every contribution makes a difference The funds we raise will be used for :
- Evacuation from Gaza for both families (Rafah border crossing fees for 9 people total)  - Two months of temporary living expenses in Egypt, including food, shelter, and transportation  - Passport fees  - Food expences untill they leave Gaza
No matter how small your contribution, it can make all the difference in breaking the cycle of violence and uncertainty. By supporting our campaign, you are offering a lifeline to our families so that they can rebuild their lives, heal from their trauma and make a fresh start in a safe and secure environment. Please leave a comment and share our campaign with your friends, so we can reach more people and make a bigger impact. Together, we can make a difference!"
They are using a French platform called Papayoux Solidarite instead of GoFundMe. Abeer also has a Paypal account for non European donors.
They are currently at 33 588,78 €/ 50,000 €.
Let's see if we can get them to 34,000 today. Any donation matters, even $1 or $2 donations can add up.
We need to help them meet their goal. Intersex liberation means intersex liberation everywhere--it is so important that we show up in solidarity. Those of us living with CAH know how dangerous salt wasting crises are without medication, and how important it is to urgently help Mohammed and Ibrahim get access to the medications they need to support their CAH. Intersex solidarity means that we need to show up and support intersex people facing genocide.
If you can't donate, please share. Consider doing an art raffle to raise money. Do whatever you can to help this family because it is urgent, and we need to act in solidarity with them now and make sure that the intersex community is here to support them!

anti-transness and intersexism are inseparable from each other
maybe what i have to say will sound like intersectionality 101, but i feel like i need to put this in words.
anti-transness and intersexism are closely intertwined with each other, support each other, and are upheld by the same constructs like patriarchy, sex binary, gender binary, cisnormativity, perisexism (assumption that everyone is perisex), etc.
they intersect and intertwin with other discriminations and are upheld by other oppressive systems, too. this is what intersectionality is about. but today, i want to talk about intersexism and anti-transness.
they can't exist without each other. and they can't be destroyed separately. because if it's normal for the body to be intersex, if it's normal to have different features than is expected from your assigned and/or perceived sex and gender, then there's only a couple of steps to the idea that body doesn't define gender and people with same gender can have different bodies. if it's normal to have a different gender than is expected or assigned to you and (optionally) change your body, then it's okay to be born with/spontaneously acquire the non-typical sex traits. (maybe kinda tangled, but i can't word it better).
and vise versa. there can't be true trans liberation without intersex liberation. there can't be true intersex liberation without trans liberation.
both of us are living threats to the patriarchy (because it's based on the assumption that men(tm) and women(tm) are different species that can never have something in common and, what a horror, transform into each other). both of us are living threats to the gender binary and sex binary because one becomes pointless without another.
so they have to fight with both of us, even at the cost of inconsistency (making in anti-trans laws exceptions for the possibility to medically coerce intersex people into binary expectations).
so we, on our side, have to fight together to dismantle systems that harm all of us. we have to listen to each other. we have to stand for each other.
because, while true trans liberation and true intersex liberation are impossible separately, we have to make efforts to fight with both oppressions. otherwise, our tries will be way less effective at best and counterproductive at worst. and we end at the same place, where no one of us is free.
trans & intersex solidarity is necessary.

recently my dad, who dabbles in writing, happened to see something David Seymour said about privilege, and wrote an article about it in one furious sitting. That post is now gathering a fair amount of momentum on social media such as facebook and instagram. So fuck it, why not share it here:
"David Seymour said on twitter
"If you believe you have special rights because of your ethnicity, you’re going to be disappointed with the Treaty Principles Bill. When you’re used to special rights, equality feels like oppression."
A question I have for those who state that Māori get special privileges in Aotearoa New Zealand, Actually two questions.
1/What are they
2/what decade did they start in this country
Did they start in 1863 when the New Zealand government of the day started the Land Settlement Act? An act that confiscated millions of acres of land from the Māori because the Māori refused to sell, leading to the Māori land wars. An act that by the early 1900s meant that Maori held just 8% of the land they had held when they signed Te Tiriti O Waitangi and that percentage continued to fall. As of 2024 land currently owned by Maori is 5% and that's After Waitangi Tribunal Settlements.
The last bit of land was confiscated during WW2 to make an airfield.
Was this one of their special privileges that settlers to New Zealand didn't get?
Did they start in 1867 when the government signed the Native Schools Act, which decreed that all Native Schools would only be held in English? An act that is often blamed on a petition from tribal chiefs calling for a school for their Moku. Yes they did send such a petition but it asked for 2 things, that they be taught literacy, science, and numeracy and the second was that they be taught both in English and Māori. This act wasn't repealed till 1987 by which time several generations of children had had their language and culture beaten out of them. One of these was my Father, speaking Te Reo still makes his hands hurt and he's 80.
This must have been one of those special privileges that only Māori got as this privilege wasn't offered to Dutch or French or other European children who might have spoken another language at school
Was it being Blackbirded? For those that don't know it was the practice of kidnapping Māori and Pacifica and selling them as slaves in Queensland to work the sugar cane plantations.
Thats a privilege that will make you feel special
Was it in the 1850s when the Crown started confiscating Māori children and giving them to Pakeha families to greater assimilate them into the British way of life, An act that continued until well into the 1980s under the foster system leaving them subjected to mental, physical, and sexual abuse
Its a special privilege for special children
Was it a special privilege that John Ballance transported poisoned sugar and flour up the Wanganui River to sell to Māori an act that got overlooked when he became prime minister of this country
Someone was privileged anyway
Or was it in 1907 when the Government signed the Tohunga Suppression Act which banned Māori from access to their healers and medicines and made them rely on Western medicine instead? Did this get rid of a number of quacks, yes but it also suppressed a lot of local knowledge about medicine from local plants that had worked and it put them into the hands of the Western medical system that didn't have their best interests at heart either. It was also aimed at suppressing Māori religion and culture, after all, you suppress the belief system you suppress the people
The only laws aimed at suppressing a religion passed in this country were made against Māori so that must be one of their special privileges, but they did get to pick what religion they could be forced into, Protestant or Catholic so there's that
Is one of the special Privileges a shorter life span, on average 7 years shorter than Pakeha. Yes, the average life span for Māori in the 1700s was 30 but that was the same for Europeans. Is it because they have the privilege of having their symptoms overlooked in a medical system that has prioritised pakeha males, Is it that Pakeha women are more likely to be offered pain relief during childbirth than Māori women? Is it because they were often paid less than their pakeha counterparts at 81 cents to the dollar and so couldn't afford regular checkups? Is it because they were taught not to put themselves forward and to be noticed by society, to be a good Māori?
Is it a privilege that the New Zealand health system can no longer take their race into account when giving them treatment?
Better-researched people have written more on this special Privilege so I will move on
Was it in 1926 when old age and widow pensions came into this country and Māori were only paid 75 per cent of the going pension rate. In 1937 when pressed on why the Senior Treasury official Bernard Ashwin stated "On the face of it, it may appear equitable to pay the average Māori old-age pensioner the same amount per week as the average European pensioner, but in this matter questions of equity should be decided having regard to the circumstances, the needs and the outlook on life of the individuals concerned … the living standard of the Māori is lower – and after all, the object of these pensions is to maintain standards rather than to raise them.’" Or more simply a grass skirt is cheaper than a suit.
I guess being able to make do with less is a special privilege
Was it during the early to mid-20th century when signs saying No Māori's on pubs, hotels, theatres, and even drinking fountains were not uncommon and cinemas and pools had separate use days? In many places, Māori were only allowed to use the pools on Friday as they were cleaned on Saturday. It must have been that Privilege of trying to rent a property and seeing advertisement after advertisement saying Europeans only. Was it that privilege of being denied bank loans because they were Māori?
Being treated as lesser in your own country must be a privilege
Is it the privilege that Māori are jailed at 3 times the rate of Pakeha for the same crimes that will get a paler-skinned person a non-custodial sentence or no charges at all? They do get a special privilege that their race is taken into account when arrested, or charged or sentenced but that comes with the privilege of their race working against them every step of the way. During the mid-20th century often young Māori men were seen socialising together and harassed by police until they committed an antisocial crime like swearing in public and were sent to borstal
Is it a privilege that unjustified force is disproportionately used against Māori in police encounters and arrests
Constantly being under the watchful eye of the law must be a special privilege indeed
Was it a special privilege that Māori had to start occupying confiscated land in 1977 starting at Bastion Point in an effort to finally get some redress to the massive loss of tribal land, An occupation that lasted for over a year before it was brutally put down by the police and Army
Bash our heads, it's our privilege as Māori
And then there's that special privilege that Māori love and enjoy called the 2004 Foreshore and Seabed Act an act that takes the aforementioned and places them in the hands of the crown as opposed to the public domain or as was guaranteed by Te Tiriti and then promptly confiscated from guardianship and ownership of Māori. Luckily this bill was repealed in 2010 and replaced with the Marine and Coastal Act 2011 which guaranteed the right to access justice through courts but only if Māori could exercise that special privilege they have.
Can they show that their rights to the foreshore and seabed have been exercised since 1840, in accordance with Tikanga Māori, without substantial interruption and was not interrupted by law, say a law passed in 1863. Then if so, by special privilege then they can put it before the courts. In 2024 they got even more special privileges when the Government ignored the courts recommendation to lower the threshold of proof and required Māori to prove they had had continual exclusive use and ownership since 1840 to have a chance to get confiscated foreshore lands back
Yay the privilege of ever-moving goalposts
Did the privilege start in 1988 when the Crown returned Bastion Point to Ngati Whatua after a prolonged court case or was it in 1989 when the first Ti Tiriti O Waitangi settlement was done giving Waitomo Caves back to Uekaha Hapu or was it 1987 when Te Reo was recognised as an official Language or was it the early 2000s when Bilingual signs started being put up around Aotearoa or was it in 2024 when the Government banned Bilingual signs on roads and in government buildings?
Was it in 1867 when the Māori were granted 4 parliamentary seats, given the Maori population at the time compared to Pakeha it should have been more although it could have been 1868 when Māori men got the right to vote? Oddly it was 11 years before pakeha men were given that right, before then, only landowners could vote and because Māori held land in common all of them could vote
Was it in 1880 were several hundred prisoners from the Māori peaceful protest group Parihaka were held and treated to 2 years hard labour without trial and their settlements burnt and confiscated
Was it in 1977 when race was added to the Human Rights Commission as something you couldn't discriminate against as well as gender, religion or beliefs?
Was it in 1977 when a section was added to the Race Relations Act that made it illegal to publish, broadcast, or make public statements that were likely to incite hostility or ill-will against a group of people based on their: Color, Race, and Ethnic or national origins
Was it after 130 years of being ground down and stepped on and murdered and marginalised and robbed, that laws were made that said, you know we probably shouldn't have been doing that
Is the privilege the knowledge of what 184 years of all of the above does to a people, the hurt that it causes deep into the bone
Is it that in the 40 years since that Human Rights Commission rule that Māori have begun to hold up their heads, to be proud of who they are, to speak their language and to rediscover their culture?
To speak out against things that are wrong in the health system, the education system, the justice system, the welfare system and the political system. To demand, not ask but demand redress for the crimes that the Crown has not only done against them but encouraged others to do to them.
Did the Privilege start when the Waitangi Tribunal awarded 6 cents for every dollar of land confiscated? If you want that broken down, for every million dollars worth of land confiscated, the reparations were only $60000
Is it because New Zealand as a society got used to seeing them be shy, and humble and hard-working and lost amid the diaspora that pakeha society caused?
That society got used to being able to exploit the bits of Māori culture we liked, like the music and the humour and the strong back and compliance and when they found their voice and took it back and that redress was happening and suddenly, they were privileged because how dare they not be happy with scraps from the table.
That Māori were no longer being the Good Māori.
Is the privilege that in 2024, 184 years after the signing of Te Tiriti, Māori are finally getting a fraction of what they should have had if Te Tiriti had been honoured
One other question to the Pakeha of Aotearoa New Zealand
If all of this looks like a Privilege. Do any of you want to swap places?"

I'm a currently reconnecting reform Jew who was raised completely Secular and Acultural... I was anti-Zionist for a long time and I consider myself to still be but in my journey through reconnection I became more involved in Jumblr and it's hard to not fall prey to the Zionist rhetoric people keep spreading on here. I need to read the words of an actual Jew and not just another goy on why Israel is bad because otherwise I fear I will actually be gaslit. Do you have any recommendations on resources by Jewish people about the topic?? Or even some words you can provide yourself?? Thank you and I'm sorry for bothering you...
hey anon! thank you for being patient with my reply, i was pretty busy the other day and wanted to put real care into getting these resources for you
firstly, if you’re looking to find a better hub of anti zionist jews to unlearn any propaganda with, @stoptheantisemitism is a great place to start. from a former zionist israeli(iirc, correct me if not) jew who unlearned propaganda over time. they are a great inspo in the jewish community.
another great source is the documentary “defamation” by yaov shamir https://youtu.be/CTAjc1OSrmY?si=NsRJLOsxjlFPNSWC
youtube
ultimately discussing how zionism, israel, and the IDF preys on the “you’re unsafe anywhere but here. only in israel can you be safe to be freely and fully jewish” which is just textbook. textbook. brainwashing. i mean the amount of zionists in the jewblr tag alone treating any public hate moment as a “see! see! this is why we need israel!!” all of the attempts israel does to go above and beyond is not an actual act of care but an act of public manipulation.
Tumblr media
not a source but when i went to gather this link for you i saw a comment that phrased it beautifully. they are so convinced that they are so deeply hated and can only be safe here and it is so strange not to mention, i hate to say this because i know its going to be misconstrued, very identical to cult indoctrination and brainwashing tactics
theodr herzl himself literally said antisemitism will be our greatest ally and he described israel as a colonial project. like the entire foundation of this place is so clearly propaganda
ie the recent “”””pogrom”””” in amsterdam began with zionist jews being publically and loudly racist to a group of people who eventually attacked back. they of course were being antisemitic in their words but the actions would not have happened if they weren’t provoked. but israel of course “comes to aid” these “poor victims” so NOW everyone’s like “see this is why we need israel!!! we aren’t safe anywhere not even europe” which is so exhaustingly ridiculous
it’s all curated. it’s all on purpose. israel wants the people who support them and get shit for it to hit the news. they want these attacks to happen so they can swoop on and “save” them and “prove we need them” but this was NOT a pogrom this was NOT provoked by antisemitism.
not to mention how conservative/orthodox they all are. many orthodox groups won’t even acknowledge us reform jews as jewish. they won’t recognize our interfaith relationships as decent, our kids as actually jewish, our identity as jewish, converts as jewish. etc. i’m not saying this from a place of bias. it is something my rabbi often openly discusses. the first thing he told me when i told him im a lesbian with a catholic girlfriend is “orthodoxy and the local chabad will never recognize your marriage as a jewish marriage. will never recognize your kids as jewish kids. same sex marriage is not legalized in any of the 15 marital courts in israel because of the way the country operates” so on so on. israel claims to be so pro lgbt but can’t even bend any of their rules to allow gay marriage? it’s just insane. this has nothing to do with israeli propaganda it is just a criticism i have on parts of judaism
several kinds of interfaith marriages aren’t recognized in israel.
never again. for anyone. the ISJN (international jewish antiozionist network) https://ijan.org as a very good program they run.
with multiple chapters in multiple countries they also provide a wordpress they compiled on the israeli attemp at worldwide repression
that INCLUDES testimonies against israel predating 2023. in their education programs they detail being anti-racist details the NEED to be anti-zionist
zionism and american politics are very intertwined so i dont understand why nonamerican zionists always attack nonzionist american jews. it’s very odd. much of our government lobbies for israel as often as they can. the veterans at my shul often argue in defense and against israel just depending on where their morals lay. it permiates american political cultures, especially jewish american political cultures. though most of the time im greeted with “bold words from someone who has never been in the middle east.” and that is so odd considering they know nothing about me. no i haven’t. i have absolutely no money to travel. israel offers birthright but why would i ever take them up on the opportunity for indoctrination? that’s what it’s for. the more people who come to israel and like it the more israeli citizens they have. the more citizens they have the more they can make my countries politicians lobby for “antizionism DOES equal antisemitism” which is so factually and morally untrue on so many levels.
israel is still actively killing everyone they need to under the guise of hamas. i implore you to go look at the ceasefire agreements hamas has tried to put out for the IDF by the way and see exactly what terms the IDF disagreed to bc it is VIOLENTLY and BRUTALLY inhumane. this is not in agreement with hamas but in disagreement with the IDF.
for further historical and political resources i encourage you check out this page https://ijan.org/resources-2/ i know im linking them a lot but its a great hub of everything i wouldnt linked you anyways
israel and the IDF are actively killing innocents for no good reason outside of colonization. outside of pure genocide. outside of ethnic cleansing. zionist jews’ recent tactics have been to call any mention of this blood libel which i find insane bc it is factually untrue to the definition of what blood libel is
Tumblr media
for some odd reason my iphone won’t open this article anymore but go read on this from the new yorker!
if you ever see a bunch of white supremacists/nazis on tumblr being zionists or friends with zionists btw it’s bc the worlds largest zionist organization is made up of christian’s/catholics. just in case you want to know what side of history these people are on. fascists love being racist together <3
blog from more antizionist jewitches on christian zionism WITH sources cited
the difference between the three israels and why “am yisrael chai” is NOT synonymous to zionism or the existence of the state of israel
again with sources cited in the blog
finally i’d watch enduring roots https://vimeo.com/89376847
vimeo
this is just the trailer as it is a donation based documentary but i did not pay much to watch this on my own. its a documentary put together by the international jewish antizionist fund about accounts from actual nakba survivors
how the fuck am i going to allow myself to believe a country that says it values the safety of my life. a jewish life. which by the way. in judaism we value all life. you can and should break any jewish law to save a life. so tell me then why are these people so comfortable carpet bombing children? murdering women? using HUMAN SHIELDS to get their way
anyways i will add more sources as i remember them but TLDR israels main line of propaganda and brainwashing IS “you belong here. we will keep you safe. we are the only place that can keep you safe” while actively causing so much harm and being founded on racist ideals while they allow tens of thousands of human souls to die when there are many places safe for us across the world
