Congratulations to @mutantninjamidlifecrisis for not only being the first fic to make cry in quite a while, but also being the first fic ever to get such a reaction out of me that I had to laid down my phone and just breathe for a few minutes until I calmed myself enough for my hands to stop shaking, this happened multiple times while I read chapter 8, I even had to stand up and walk around my room once to calm down.

Okay, I'm drawing robots again~

Inspired by "Carapace" https://archiveofourown.org/works/41655078/chapters/104487663

This fanfic lives in my head rent free and when I read about the robots Donny built for his brothers, I knew I just had to try to draw them

In fact, there's a little research behind these artwork that I put both of my brain cells into.

I noticed that Future!Leo's prosthetic fingers and wrist have a darker color than the rest of the prosthetic. Given Raphael's fighting style, I think this dark green material is a specially reinforced part. You know. To crush and smash in the style of Raph's fists.

Then, I thought

Leo and Mikey don't fight as roughly. They're acrobats, not tanks, so they probably don't need heavy fists. But they do need sturdy, tenacious fingers, so I left their fingers reinforced so the boys could grasp things:)

Context incoming-

Saw a post saying Donnie would probably have injuries including internal bleeding from being hit by the Krang after his mystic shield gave in from being hit. Since he's newer to mystic powers his shield was probably weak and didn't protect much from being sent flying with Mikey- let alone also just generally being more fragile with his shell and such. Just made for good angst-

If people like this I can make a part two but it'll be less angsty since it'll mostly be his brothers taking care of him.

Thus ends the mini- Leo/Omega arch.  It’s been an emotional ride, but I’m looking forward to the next one which will involve more plot, angsty flashbacks, and silliness.  Before that though, I might make a cover for this AU and ALSO I have finally come up with an official title!  Hopefully I’ll have that done soon.
