If we write pairings other than Larry, of even with Louis/female character, how do we get word out about it?

For pairings like zouis, louaylor, what should I do?

Hi! I won’t lie...it’s fairly difficult to get the word out about rare pair fics. I think it’s important to keep in mind that they’re rare pairs and just are not going to get the attention a Larry fic would. That being said, there are rare pair readers in the fandom, and I’m one of them! And I’d be happy to reblog your fic post if you want to send it to me!

Some of my fellow rare pair readers include:

Also, sometimes there are fests like @louisandmenfest or @harryandmenfest or @heartbreakweatherficfest so be on the look out for fests like that where rare pairs are the fics being posted as fests you could potentially write for and help get a little more traction for your fic. (The keeper of the fest list is @louandhazaf!) 

Also, there are other One Direction themed fests that allow rare pairs like @1daboficfest and @onedirectionbigbang. Some upcoming ones you could write for are: @1dclicheficfest @bhficfest or @1dreversebang. 

There is also a lovely group of people who watch the tag #tracksintheam so be sure to put that in the tags and they’re really nice about reblogging rare pairs that are One Direction related. OH, I just thought of another thing...if you’re writing girl direction you can let @girldirectionsource know! 

If there’s any other rare pair fans out there who wouldn’t mind reblogging rare pair fic posts, please let us know in the replies so this anon and anyone else can find you!

“Can I shower first?”

It’s a completely reasonable request, but Jeff isn’t sure how to tell him that the whole point is that he wants Harry just as he is, natural and dirty in the best way. So he just says, “You don’t have to,” like he isn’t toeing the edge of a cliff he’s never dared to jump off.

Or, Harry is sweaty and hasn’t shaved in weeks, and Jeff wants every part of him.

“You guess? My legs are on fucking fire, Louis,” Harry retorted, his voice a little shaky still. The alcohol he’d been consuming all night was doing nothing to numb the pain, and the thought Louis thought he was a wimp wasn’t helping. “You have literally no idea how much this hurts.”

“No pain kink, then. I’ll bear that in mind,” Louis said smugly as Jesy walked back into the room, a fresh pot of wax in her hands. “Oh goody, here we go again.”

“Please don’t do my thighs, please-”

“Them’s the rules…” Jesy muttered as she started swiping wax over Harry’s left thigh.
