well, here is one of my writing tasks in terms of my English marathon:

so here are the very important tips on how to write a song

1. Read and analyse

it's crucial to think what the text that you are reading or listening to means.

you can do it with your favourite songs, for example. I've experienced the situation when I'm listening to a song for a while, and I like everything about it and even know some lyrics, but it turns out that I don't really understand them. so yeah, read and analyse, go deeper in the meaning of written words, and I'm sure it will help you understand all th magic!

here, I want to note that it's useful to figure out not only the meaning but also the literary devices used.

2. Try to push yourself out of your comfort zone and try new things such as genre, style, rhyme scheme, or topic.

yeah, it's challenging, but it works, and it works for you to improve your skills.

you know, Han Jisung does that thing - he tries to write songs not only of his favourite style, so follow his example and shine bright like a diamond))

3. Be honest!

If you don't believe in what you're writing, it's not gonna work .

I think you will not like this song, and your audience will surely notice it.

it is always obvious when a person cannot relate to sth, so be honest and put all your feelings into your work.

also, I guess it's much easier to express your real feelings and experiences than to make everything up and play games.
