yeahhhh i’m a little guilty of being inactive. but also i’m not because this isn’t a responsibility BUT I’M STILL SORRY because a lot of you clearly enjoy my stuff

figured i’d just say who everyone in re7 would be even though i haven’t gotten around to drawing them!!! i did wanna wait but burnout and drifting into another fandom and eehhhhhghjkfdjh. y’know?

anyways! the ones i’ve already done are: ethan winters, as an arctic wolf jack baker, as a western cottonmouth snake marguerite baker, as an american black bear lucas baker, as a muskrat zoe baker, as an american alligator (and i know he isn’t Only in this game, but) chris redfield, as a red-tailed hawk. i love chris redfield dearly and i wanted to draw him as smth anthro real fast so i used his re7 dlc as an excuse oopsies

those all have their reasons on their respective posts (i posted lucas and chris together), so if you haven’t already seen them, go check them out!!!

but now....... the ones i haven’t done......... mia winters, as the infamous gray wolf (otherwise known as the timber wolf). she still embodies that strong familial bond as a wolf and would make the most sense in my brain for rose to be a biological child. and it’s necessary for rose to be a biological child for the next game, so mia has ended up as a timber wolf :) imagine her as one of the more orange-y ones also, she’s not an arctic wolf, because while she and ethan are similar in their fierce love of family, they are still vastly different and i would like to show that visibly

eveline, as a goeldi’s marmoset. it is small, looks innocent, has black fur, and at some point in its life it lives off of mold/fungi...... interesting, right? they also stick together in small groups, which i thought fitting for eveline’s urge to have a family

“grandma”, as an american black bear (but very old with lots of white fur). the only reason she isn’t a cottonmouth like jack is because i imagine fur would be easier to imitate when you’re already a mammal and have some, if you’re picking up what i’m putting down. i won’t say it outright just in case somebody doesn’t know the ending but hopefully u get what i mean LOL

peter walken and andre stickland are both american alligators, but clancy javis is an american crocodile. they’re all crocodilians because of their company being called Sewer Gators! and i love crocodilians but that’s not important clancy isn’t an actual gator like the rest of them just because (and correct me if i’m wrong, i haven’t seen a playthrough in a minute) peter and andre say something about not trusting this new cameraman; i’m taking that as clancy was the only guy they could get for the job, at least in the moment, and he ended up not being an alligator so they were like oh wtf!!! if not that, then i just generally think the american crocodile fits him better

david anderson, the cop, as a common snapping turtle. i don’t really have a good reason for this one unfortunately, aside from the fact that tough animals Probably make good police-people 

alan douglas is going to be another timber wolf for the sake of him and mia actually looking like a couple for the “babysitting job” and easing up suspicion. it’s totally normally that two gray wolves would adopt a small little piece of the void don’t worry about it guys !

veronica in the chris dlc is a eurasian wolf, solely for the reason that i think umbrella/bsaa/whoever the hell it is would hire a MASS amount of canines. idk they just give me violent wolf/fox vibes ig BUT there are sections where canines are not

adding onto that, everybody in chris’s team in that dlc is a bird of prey. i think there were three????? so i’m going two common kestrels and an american kestrel on that one. if there were two then oh well that works out i guess LMAO

and if you’re curious, the molded are a mixture of goeldi’s marmosets, american black bears, gray wolves, and american alligators. it’s mostly wolves and bears though, with the occasional other two and very rare muskrat/cottonmouth/crocodile :) also they’re obvs like. they don’t have patterns so you can’t really tell exactly what kind of animal it is but you can based on the form and the heights and stuff yk

joe baker would definitely be another western cottonmouth, no questions asked... an albino one, though

hoffman would probably be another family-oriented animal, like mia and ethan, due to him trying to persevere through lucas’s silly little games to get back home to his family. i’m thinking of a northern rocky mountain wolf, but if that’s four too many wolves, then an african lion would also absolutely work. both are pack animals that live in family groups and defend those groups with their lives

the last of the (canonically) biological baker family, marguerite !

she is an american black bear :) i chose this animal because lots of bears seek out beehives for their honey and how good it tastes, but grizzly bears and black bears especially... and seeing as there aren’t really grizzlies in louisiana, i settled on the black bear!!! it ties into her ability because i thought: “bees”

oh, and also, black bears are absolutely excellent climbers and we all saw marguerite skittering around like a little fiend during her boss fight so that fits as well!!!

don’t think that there’s much else to really say about her, except for the fact that AAAH! MY BRAIN IS FINALLY SATISFIED WITH A COLOR PALETTE! I am jumping for joy @ this drawing i’ve made because marguerite didn’t have blue eyes. if she did my head would’ve exploded  oh also the fact that the whole “mama bear” thing made me giggle a little

now that we’re done with the biological baker family, i’ll probably do mia or grandma or eveline next ... and then the sewer gators because everyone here seems to like them (i am no exception LOL) and then perhaps joe or other characters that i haven’t mentioned. idk i’m willing to go full ape mode on this and do literally every single character you see in the game save for the molded, don’t think i can really kin assign them an animal yk

woah....... jack baker is here!!! and he’s a western cottonmouth snake :)

before i had designed muskrat lucas i was thinking really hard about making him a cottonmouth because. well, they’re in the nasty swamps and they’re hostile so i thought it fit until i’d found the muskrat but i am glad i thought of making him one of these snakes!!! because it fits jack so much better than it fits lucas imo ughhh

cottonmouths (or water moccasins) are very much reliant on bodies of water as their homes and their hunting grounds, and mold can’t really grow or thrive without water + jack’s final mutated form in the base game was slithering around in water so it inspired me to make him a cottonmouth even more. they’re comfortable both in the water and on land soooo

also, i thought it’d be fun to play around with the colors of the mouth since i’m not entirely sticking to traditional colors for these animals irl and i ended up with a pale green :) could be lighter but eh that’s fine. ALSO curse this family and their light blue eyes because it fucks with my palette every time LOL

now onto his mold arms... i’m going as much as i can by animals irl so i’m not giving anthro snakes any arms (i would just assume other animals had made robotic arms and/or legs for them, so) but eveline got sick of him not having any arms because it’s useless or something, so she grew him stumps that can send out and retract the rest of the arm at any time. hence, his left arm looking like that while his right arm is fully out

hope you like this and hopefully it looks okay!!! now imagine a roughly four foot tall venomous reptile jack with mold arms speeding after you down the hallways

the reason zoe (as an american alligator) is a bit. smaller than they usually are is because the mold stunted her growth........ and i’m too chicken to make her actually eight feet tall atm😭 one day she will tower over every1.......................

zoe is an american alligator!!!

i decided on her being an alligator just because they’re mostly peaceful unless something really gets on their nerves or they’re hungry. and because they’re the louisiana state animal :) they typically keep to themselves in the swamps or rivers they live in so i thought it was a good fit for zoe because she doesn’t exactly enjoy being with the rest of her family😭😭 and instead of just giving into eveline she tried to help mia and ethan. And i have a very soft spot for alligators

the colors are very muted purple because i’m heavily considering also designing what she looks like in that one dlc..... expect a mostly albino alligator zoe if i do!! and the mismatched eyes are from the mold again, this time it’s the purple that’s new :)

now i know what you’re thinking. maybe. Why is lucas a muskrat while zoe’s an alligator?? i’m actually making ALL of the baker family wildly different animal species !so jack and marguerite adopted both of their kids :] and they themselves are not exactly similar so.....look forward 2 my jack and marguerite designs (even i’m looking forward to doing them LMAO😭 + grandma and eveline and mia are also going to exist if i can get them out before i become obsessed with another fandom)

happy international dog day!! here’s ethan winters :)

i knowwww he’s from the american south but i had to make him an arctic wolf for so many reasons in my brain. Like his last name winters. and because wolves are highly devoted to their families. like INSANELY devoted to their families and we all know ethan is The family man based off what he does for mia and rose..........sooooo let’s just pretend he moved from the north!!!

wolves will defend their pack members with their lives, and especially the younger ones, so i just feel like it fits him a lot... and also how out of place he feels in louisiana LMAO

him being an arctic wolf makes him much larger than both lucas and chris though (i’m not going to make another height chart just yet. not until i furry all the biohazard characters) and that’s actually sm fun to imagine. little screaming angry people running around his ankles killing each other

ohhhh and also . he got the mismatched blue eye from when the mold got him :) originally they were both brown

i did include the scars he gets from both of the games he’s in. just imagine him without the village ones if you want continuity LOL😭

decided to start this off with two resident evil characters... both of which i am fortunately or unfortunately in love with

i decided to make lucas a muskrat because not only are they small and relatively sneaky animals that are pretty annoying (as far as i’m aware, haven’t seen one where i live), they’re capable of causing a lot of unwanted destruction and live in swamps. So i think that speaks for itself he’s much thinner than the average muskrat though because like. look at the food they had at the baker house

chris is sort of a mix between a red-tailed/red-shouldered hawk? but the intention was there for a red-tailed so that’s what i’m going to say he is i’ve made him a bird and not a wolf because if i’m not original my head actually explodes on the spot + hawks tend to be solitary but still have incredible strength on their own and that’s a very chris thing so

here’s their actual height difference, by the way :)

i’m scaling size like zootopia scaled size and YES they do wear clothes but they just have none so i can get their patterns/markings down. you will see every character i furrify in clothes outside of their reference

anyways, we all know chris and lucas already hate each other, but the fact that muskrats are sometimes prey items for hawks is going to fuel that<33
