Mitchie scrolled through his playlist for a bit before selecting a good song. He listened as the guitar riff sounded out through his room from his speaker as the rock song started. Mitchie sat down at his desk and stared at the half finished art piece before him for a moment before picking up his tool and continuing to work. He had been working for a while as his playlist cycled through musicals and classic rock and everything he loved. Mitchie had ended up taking a break to read for a bit so he could rest his hands, but he was happy to get back to work.

Gumball pulled their headphones over their head and relaxed into their bed. They scrolled through their playlist, deciding what to listen to. Unsure what to pick, Gumball finally decided on their favorite hatsune miku song. They had spent most of the night playing Death Stranding and were now cooling down to go to bed. A new episode of Gumball’s favorite anime dropped the next day, so they knew they had something to look forward to. At least with that, they had something to look forward to.

Elliot glided over the ice, the sound of his skates mixing with the music playing over the speakers. He was the only one on the ice. Ell sped up slightly, flying effortlessly over the cold ice. He slid into a twirl, feeling the cold air rush against his face. One of El’s friends had finally put on their skates and slid onto the ice, slipping slightly. Grace woke up sweating. Another nightmare. Sun filtered through the window. They rolled over and picked up their phone. Scarlet had texted them a good night text the night before, around 11:00, a bit after Galen had went to bed. They took a sip of water then closed their eyes for a second. It was a school day but they knew they weren’t going to make it to school today. Grace didn’t want to go back to sleep either, so they put their head back on the pillow and picked up their phone. Galen scrolled through tumblr. One of the blogs they followed had posted another post encouraging people to hold on through their issues. They sighed and kept scrolling. At some point Grace fell back asleep. They woke up to another text from Scarlet. She had noticed they weren’t at school, and had sent a worried message asking if Galen was ok.
