Some concept art for a Worms game found off of Nick Gomersall's ArtStation on this page here! It seems like it might've had tetris-like building mechanics with upgrades being available as well as having the same art style as the Worms 4 mobile game. Worminkle would've also returned (somehow) and serve as the tutorial guide judging by the only piece of concept art he was in. Now, you might be wondering about the other non-worm beings in one of the art pieces. Their reason for being there is unknown but there is a fun fact for this: these beings (at least the ones in the dark blue robes) were used in another piece of concept art for a game that seemed very similar in gameplay to the Worms series when playing with Forts that's called Angry Pirates! More concept art of that game can be seen here if you're curious.

A concept mockup for a Worms Tower Defense game found on Nick Gomersall's ArtStation account. Judging from the sidebar on the right, it would've been heavily inspired by the Bloons TD series and probably would've played the same too though it is unknown how any of the weapons would work or how they could've been implemented. It is also unknown if the game was actually pitched to Team17 or not.

Art style concepts that were made for Worms A Space Oddity that were found off of Nick Gommersall's Art Station. According to these, the levels were going to look as if they were made out of cardboard. The hud is drastically different here than what is seen in the final release.

In Worms 3D, there is a map named "Submission" with the "War" theme which contains two small buildings and a tank on an island, but the most important thing of all in this map is a submarine near said island that you can get to via a ladder. In Worms 4/Ultimate Mayhem, this map gets a makeover and is now named "Re-Submission" with it having the "Construction" theme since Worms 4 did not bring back the "War" theme. The tank has been replaced with a bulldozer and there is some new construction going on where one of the buildings once was as well as a new boat appearing in the area the submarine once was, though one of the buildings remained. The submarine can still be seen in the new map, as it is now mostly submerged behind the new boat. These images compare both of these maps side-by-side, as well as showing where the submarine went in the Worms 4/Ultimate Mayhem version.

A screenshot of Wormband which was Team17's 2011 April Fools joke which was posted on their YouTube and Facebook pages. Wormband stars four Worms using the Worms 3D models playing instruments in a large empty void without an audience, the most notable thing in the video is the Worm wearing a strange pair of sunglasses that is never used in any Worms game. The video is still up on the official Team17 YouTube channel with no audio, the video can be viewed here.

A screenshot of the Worms 4 Mayhem Flash website taken via the Wayback Machine. As you can see, a large empty void takes up part of the site due to a necessary video file missing, this also happens when you click on "Click here to view video" as the video files themself are not available to watch. Trying to click on "Pimp your worm!" or "Downloads" sends you to an error page.

gif of a worm from Worms 3D drinking a Red Bull and then proceeding to fly up into the sky, the Red Bull is a utility in the game that lets you jump higher and move faster. This gif is the only evidence of a possible Worms 3D Red Bull commercial that might've been made, I found this years ago on Team17's website for part 8 of Team17's 100 Games, it's very likely a full commercial of a Worms 3D Red Bull crossover exists but it has yet to be found.

not the usual post but what the FUCK was this thing from the gold medieval cutscene in forts under siege?? it only appears in this single cutscene and nowhere else in the game as far as i'm aware (although i never got far in the campaign as a kid) and then just never shows up in the entire series ever again. the mystery of this monkey thing has eluded me for years if ANYBODY knows even a single piece of information on it i would love to know because what even was this thing??

Worms Battle Rally was a cancelled Worms game from 2003 that was meant to release in 2004. It was described as being similar to Mario Kart's battle mode.
It had Worms driving around in tanks shooting each other down, with weapons such as the Banana Bomb also being present.
The game spawned out of a deal with an unnamed publisher, but morale was low during development due to the publisher's constant interference and general dissatisfaction with the game. It was eventually cancelled and replaced with Worms Forts: Under Siege.
