Another struggle piece.

I randomly rolled the instruments I would be using today. It was fun! I'll probably try again tomorrow. This one sounds a little bit storybook, probably on account of the lute.

Just a simple one today, something meant to sound a bit like a lullaby.

My first attempt at a five part harmony for a choir! Not my best work but I'm still figuring it out. I nicknamed this one "The Impossible Choir" because I don't think it is actually possible for human voices to perform it.

This one has fought me all day long, the inspiration was the middle orchestral section you see in old musicals at the intermission. But here comes a two day streak!

I wrote this little bit of a score yesterday, and I'm trying to get better at it. So for the next year I'm going to try to write at least 32 measures a day. Wish me luck!

So I was awoken right now by a notification, you know from total darkness! I check my phone, and TikTok, which I only have because my mother likes to send me things on it, has notified me of a new video shared. It was my mother, who at 3:42 in the morning, sent me an ai video of a baby in a shark onesie dancing to baby shark. There certainly are words to describe how I feel about this video, but I fall short of the finish line in constructing a sentence that sums up the shear instant mental rejection I feel at the sight of it. No I won’t share because fuck ai.
