Being removed from Kris' body was hard enough already for the Player but being in this Dark World when ripped out and not having any clue where the other members of their party are is much worse.

The determined soul made their way to one of the shops around Cyber City with the hanging shoes in the windows, looking for any sign of Kris or their party members.

>" Um, hello there... Have you seen any lightners that look like a deer or a blue skinned human around here?"

“I’ll be with you in just a moment!”

Bluford calls out hearing what sounded like someone towards the front of the store, straightening out some of the product he had available before turning around to greet the newcomer. 

“Hello, welcome to Cyber Shoes II how may I help y-”

He ends up cutting himself off in surprise at the sight he’s met with. Was.. Was that just.. a human soul standing right there? Now.. that… that’s new. He nervously clears his throat and tries to brush it off.

“Is there something I can help you with?”

The Player silently floated inside the bird cage that they were thrown into a while ago by the now soulless human in front of them. The red soul's floating eyebrows furrowed in a concerned and a bit of sadness.

In communion with the devil, one should likely keep conversation to a minimum, but unfortunately Kris is feeling particularly talkative. It’s true that nothing resulting from this thing’s actions had caused them any harm, or really had any negative consequence on their life…

But it’s also a parasite. A voyeur. What right do they have to peer beyond the glass and dictate what Kris does? They clench their weakened fingers to the bars of the cage trapping the delicate soul, their eyes wild behind the scraggly locks of hair that often obscure their reddish hue.

“Do you think this is fun…? Is this just some kind of storybook to you? You realize that this is my life, right?”

The Player was floating by themselves in one the alleyways after Kris ripped them out earlier. The red soul knew that the human would be back for them as they hear footsteps and turns around to see who it is.

"Kri- Oh, hello Spamton. What are you doing around here and what's up with the new form?"
