but i always got EMOtionall because i was thinking about always being second best in like evrything, or always being the second choice.

and now i sit on the bus and listen to this genius boy remind me,, always second best and yet always the people pleaser

your friends will always be cooler and they have other friends that they get along with better and talk to more. and you'll always be their angel who does everything, but you'll never be tbe god they love. and your coworkers hang out on weekends and you're not even on the groupchat. you'be always done more work than your sibling and you've cleaned up after them and lied for them, but they're the one thats praised. and it all makes you furious,, but angels stay nice and quiet and the gods get to scream

want 'always an angel, never a god' tattooed on my forehead when i legally can (or illegally if the chance ever comes up). because i definetely need everyone i meet knowing im a people pleaser but i'll never be the best at it
