Nix reached into the bag to offer Eikichi some of the fries they got together. A nice little lunch date for the two of them, especially when he wasn't on that restrictive diet anymore. "Well I'm sure if we all work together, we can handle anything. I know if it wasn't for you and the others, I wouldn't be where I am now." Which was the honest truth. Due to everyone's help, he felt more free than he had been in a very long time. "Let's not worry about that now. You need to help me eat all this remember? Besides.. what if defeating him sent you back?"

"Yea, neither can I." It was bad enough to live in just Sumaru City (how long had the city been the only thing in his world?), but to be displaced into This Side because Yaldabaoth wanted to up the ante a little? That fucking sucked. "If the Velvet Room wasn't closed off right now, I'd be gettin' answers from good ol' Igor about what the hell's going on. I knocked several times, kicked it, yelled at it-"

That had gotten him some looks, but he never really cared about that. He had attended Kasugayama High, after all, as their Death Boss. But Igor hadn't responded or opened the... cell door.

Why had the Velvet Room door become a cell door? It made no sense.

It was difficult to make sense that Eikichi came here from somewhere else entirely. That didn't mean he wasn't thankful for his presence either way. "And even if that 'Yaddy' person gets here, we can all work together to take care of it."

"Being displaced is bad enough. The worst part is that I have to pretend I know fuck-all before Yaddy Baddy gets his claws too far." Huff huff he didn't ask for this.

What sparks the manager being reported on the site is the increase of control and pressure towards Nix in particular. He aimed to force Nix to be more female presenting in order to use 'sex appeal' to make better sells. Though in order to try and prevent that, and to be a step closer towards their true self, Nix got top surgery behind his back. Which is what made Nix late to attending school for 'medical reasons'.

Temporarily, Nix lives alone in his older brother's home. The older brother and his husband are away for work and Shinya still works all the way at Enstars still.

Nix has realized their trans identity by now but hasn't been allowed to make it fully out in the open because of his manager.

The manager still has Nix on contract and is trying to force his return to the stage and change their image to fit what 'will sell better'. Nix is wanting to fight back against this but has difficulty because of the contract and being threatened by the consequences hidden in it. The Palace for this particular arc will belong to the Manager! And a fellow idol is the one to put the manager's name on the PhanSite in an attempt to help Nix.

Nix also wants to take a small break to try and mentally recover from the trauma of what happened as well, still unsure if what happened was truly an accident or not. Though with the pressure coming from management, is unable to.

Nix will join the Phantom Thieves in the middle of the Palace and remain as such afterwards.

It was awkward to start school after missing a few months. Though it couldn't be helped when Nix had to be medically cleared to even attempt at some normalcy. Though that didn't stop his manager from pushing for public appearances despite the fact. So it didn't surprise him to hear people whispering about seeing him on television before or somewhere else. Was one normal interaction too much to ask for?

Nix's stride down the hall came to a halt when he accidentally bumped into another individual.. Which caused passerbys to hurry away for some reason? The collided student was a boy with bright blond hair, nothing out of the ordinary to Nix anyway. "I'm sorry about that.. I'm still trying to find my way around here. Are you okay?"
