Shinya was truly the sort to have spontaneous ideas, this time being no exception. It was fate that he ran into Shinobu, just the sort he felt would enjoy this plan! Ryuseitai was a group that he personally liked to watch their performances whenever he had the chance to. Why not? Their heroic acts were inspiring and seeing the children adore it made it even better. What could be more heroic than spreading smiles and joy? So it was high time to pay it back at least a fraction.. At least that's what he was hoping to do.

"No need to apologize at all, Master of Shadows! I am well aware of how busy our lives can be. Hence why this plan was the flexible sort and only benefited from time passed!" The raven haired idol pointed up at the clear night sky and grinned as he continued to speak. He really had a flair for the dramatics. "The sky is clear of clouds and decorated with stars! The moon is full to grace us with it's gentle light.. The timing is perfect to put on a display of fireworks, wouldn't you agree? I'm sure our fellow idols can witness them from their windows!" And hopefully his sibling and unit members wouldn't come rushing down to stop him and instead enjoy the show! What could go wrong?

A hand reached into his pocket to bring out a lighter, one with a long handle to it for safety. "I wasn't going to leave anything to chance so I did acquire a lighter for us to use. What say we make the most wonderous arrangements with these fireworks? Art takes all manner of forms and brings joy to all who witness it!" Just his way of saying, Let's light these babies up!

While Shinobu wasn't one to go setting off fireworks for the fun of it, he was invited by one of his associates in the same idol association, and he wasn't one to turn down an invitation from anyone! Though, while it was a 'bring your own fireworks' deal, he wasn't duly prepared beforehand. Therefore, last minute, he went out to buy some before meeting with the other.

"Haaaah... sorry I'm late! I had to buy these at the very last second! I was caught up with some business with Ryuseitai, and the Ninja Association... but I'm here now..!" Shinobu exclaims, taking deep breaths as he managed to run his way to the meeting spot, dropping the two bags of fireworks he'd managed to purchase.

"I... didn't happen to bring any matches, or a lighter... you don't happen to have one on you, right?"

Headcanon!

There is a talent that both the Shinko siblings share. Each are able to perform some form of circus acts or tricks. They learned these skills from their brother-in-law. A man full of confidence and sincere love for the family he married into, via their eldest brother. This individual used to be a circus performer of a famous troupe and so shared his many talents with Shinya and Nix alike.

Shinya expressed interest in many fields of acts but quickly got banned from certain areas when it was proven he couldn't be trusted with them. Fire acts, knives, and any other sharp objects have been put in the 'Do Not Allow' list for him. But Shinya has an amazing sense of balance and can walk across tightropes with ease and even stroll while atop a large sphere. He can also perform some basic acrobatics, such as backflips.

Nix showed interest in acrobatics, which was their brother-in-law's favorite area as well. They can do all manner of tricks in this area and taught some to the other members of their idol unit. Though another area of expertise is juggling but this came about in a different way. After their accident, an idea came to their brother-in-law to teach them how to juggle. This was their idea in how to retrain Nix to use their left arm like normal, to keep their muscle memory alive at the very least. It worked brilliantly and Nix can still be seen juggling from time to time when needing time alone..

Inconvenient timing!? It was the worst timing there could be! Susumu's heart was beating quickly in a panic as he stared at Rei, the leader of UNDEAD. How could things have gotten this bad? Was he that cursed to have bad luck today? In his hands was a tray that had previously housed food but the mentioned meal was now all over the front of the idol before him. The food was for Nix, who was busy with a new project up in their dorm room. They tended to forget to eat when they got too wrapped up in work and so he wanted to help! Well so much for that..

"I.. I can get your clothes cleaned! It's the least I can do to make up for this!" He would have to send a text to Yamato or Shinya to take over some food instead in the meantime.

Father's Day was usually a rough day for Nix since it was a reminder of what they all had lost. The Shinko siblings always visited their father's grave on this day and also for their father's birthday as well. So when Nix returned to ES, they were clearly emotionally exhausted. Even with their mask on for their 'Jester' disguise around other idols. Just some things couldn't be hidden beneath a mask.. Shinya had taken off to handle some matter and that left them on their own for the time being.

Headcanon! - Genji Shinko

Genji Shinko was the father of Shinya, Nix, and their eldest brother Sheridan.

He worked as an idol for many years, his signature look being his vibrant red hair and a green hair ribbon present in all his outfits.

His goal was to always bring smiles to the faces of this fans and make their days at least a little better than how it started, a goal now carried on by his two younger children.

His wife left a few years after Nix's birth and so took on raising all his children by himself. He never dated or remarried after the separation, focusing on his kids first and his career second. He gave them all the love and attention to make up for the lack of an additional parent.

He supported his children in all their goals and dreams, encouraging them to give it all they had and to not give up. Though he did make sure to also stress that they would have to work hard in order to obtain it.

He also was incredibly supportive when it came to Nix realizing their genderfluidity and nonbinary identities. Though it did honestly take him a while to stop mixing up pronouns but he did get it eventually.

A lot of Shinya's overwhelming positivity came from Genji's influence since he always did try to look on the bright side of things, no matter how grim things may have seemed. He knew one couldn't be happy at all time but wanted to give his children more good days than bad.

When he began falling ill, Genji did not let his family know until he was certain something was wrong. Sheridan was told first, since he was the oldest and could help explain it to the other two.

When it became clear that he wasn't going to get better, Genji quit working as an idol and took on a job that was physically less demanding. Less hours were taken too so he could spend as much time as he could with his children before his passing..

"A mood booster huh? That would be handy for some people I'm sure. And you'll make quick work of getting it done too!" Not that they ever talked about it to others but there were days where they felt overwhelmed by everything. The balancing act of being an idol and a manager for their own group, the secret keeping, and also hiding the fact their left arm lacked any sensation of feeling. It was simply a lot to carry day by day. Honestly, a time or so they considered just dropping the act within the ES grounds at least. What would the harm be anyway, they would wonder. Then they recall that one rule when it came to the dorms and the extra reason why they walk around the island in disguise aside from manager work.

'Women are not allowed into the dorms.' It was annoying since they personally viewed themselves as genderfluid and nonbinary. Sadly, they were born with the female equipment and that could throw a massive wrench into their idol career. "Hey, Natsume? Can you help me out for a moment? How do you get colors to glow on fabric? I have an idea for a new stage outfit but I can't figure it out.."

"LikeWISE." He wasn't surprised to see Nix again, though he was glad to see they felt comfortable removing their mask around him. He'd figured out their secret relatively quickly anyway.

Natsume sprinkled some water over a few of the herbs. "They are growing quickLY. I do have a few ideas in MIND. Specifically, I'm trying to make a sort of mood boostER. Supplements and conversation are practically laughABLE."

Shinya did hear what HiMERU was saying but that didn't mean he was believing all the words that left his mouth. Why wouldn't this be what they were asked to do? The stage looked wonderful! Eye-catching! And did he just call his hardwork 'random splatters of paint'? What could he possibly mean by that? Wait.. Could this mean that? "You have no understanding of art do you, HiMERU? Is abstract not your best subject? What a shame! Don't worry, I will help explain it to you so that you can understand my work!" The energetic male wasn't going to stop at this rate once he got it in his head that the other simply couldn't understand the work he did.

Just before the onyx haired idol could begin his rant, it was as if someone could sense what was about to happen. Shinya's phone rant with a cheerful tune and he quickly held up an index finger. "One moment, My Friend!" The call was answered as a bright smile came to his face. "My dearest Manager and Sibling! What do you need? Huh? Oh my joint job! Have no fear, it's well under control! You see I.." He went on to explain the disaster he orchestrated upon the stage design, thinking his work was flawless. Then the color seemed to drain from his face as a raised muffled voice could be heard on the other end. During the apparent scolding, he did glance over at HiMERU a time or two as he nodded along with whatever Nix was saying to him. A seemingly dejected Shinya then tapped the screen and held the phone up and towards the other idol.

"HiMERU, I apologize for Shinya's antics. I told him to clean up the mess he made and follow the instructions exactly. If he veers off track again, feel free to scold or punish him as you see fit. I'm busy with things on my end or I would be there to make sure he behaved personally.. He should be more willing to listen to you now after I had a word with him anyway. You can always give me a call if he steps out of line too okay?" Nix was tired and just really wanted a nap.. How could Shinya mess up that badly?

Given the force he pinched the bridge of his nose with, HiMERU half-feared he'd end up breaking the bone there, but he forced his tension to dissipate, a slow seethe of breath escaping through parted lips. This is worse than dealing with Amagi. At least he could ignore most of his unit leader's ridiculous antics ( when they didn't involve idol activities ); however, he'd been assigned to work with such a pest this afternoon.

"You clearly do no understand what we were asked to do," he stated, his tone more matter-of-fact than his demeanor might suggest. "We are not designing the set ourselves—-we're only filling in what the actual designers laid out. It reflects poorly on HiMERU if you're unable to handle the task correctly, and HiMERU does not appreciate you covering up his diligent work with random splatters of paint."

Honestly, Nix might've stared for a moment as the individual they bumped into spoke. It was Koga from UNDEAD! A lot calmer off the stage it seemed, at least at the moment. How quick he was able to deduce that they didn't eat around this time was rather observant since most around here didn't notice them without their stage mask on. Then again they did physically bump into him so it wasn't as though he could pretend they weren't there. That wouldn't stop them from giving the other a small smile, thankful for the positive interaction either way.

"I don't usually come down to eat around this time.. If anything, someone usually brings food up to me! I tend to be busy around this time of the day." Busy with practice, working on new stage outfits, or whatever nonsense Shinya had gotten them all wrapped in! Not to mention all the manager type duties and idol work! Truly they would ask for a vacation if it wouldn't cause the group to implode after a day or two. "I'm glad I didn't make you knock over anything! And I can tell from your Lives that you don't have even a touch of butter fingers." What could they say, UNDEAD was a fantastic group to watch. There was an internal sigh at hearing 'star-struck girl' but it wasn't Koga's fault. He didn't know and they physically did present themselves as a female at the moment.. The curse of having a chest at times.

"I'm one of those busy-bodies, sadly.. Charlatan tends to put a lot on my plate." Like how Shinya decided to try a trick using fire and burned a sleeve of his stage outfit. Part of them prayed the walls were soundproof because there was no peace for at least an hour due to the intense their brother received. Perhaps the biggest pain of this arrangement was the lack of many others they could talk to this about.. Except for Natsume, he was a trusted friend that was aware of the situation. "Anyway, I'm sorry if I'm keeping you from heading somewhere else. I'm Nix Shinko, by the way. It's nice to meet you."

Nothing out of the ordinary for someone to allow their mind to wander and forget their surroundings. Still, he braced himself with a slight step back in case she ( not that he knows any better, judging solely by the appearance in front of him ) truly never realized. The longer he judges their face, the more confusion builds within him. Never seen them before... [The hell she work at?] Not that he knows everyone who works within ES... and not that he desires for such, either. "It's typically more crowded 'round here this time of day. HEH--! Unless ya happen to be new, guess ya must not eat 'round this time."

Not that he has much room to talk. What with work and school at times keeping him away. "Nah. It ain't like I got much to drop on the floor in comparison. If I dropped my boxed meal just from a small bump-in, think I might as well consider myself butter fingers. Butter fingers ain't good for a guitarist." Koga holds up the box and shakes it a bit to show. If anything, he'd have dropped the bottles and can presently in the crook of his other arm, but they thankfully hadn't run into that arm. "If ya plan to eat often 'round this time, best to get used to the crowds. Don't go off daydreamin' like some star-struck girl. It ain't gonna help ya out with a bunch of bodies movin' 'round."
