Hi hi! Fellow jew here, I absolutely admire your art, and just in general seeing more Jewish ocs/characters makes me incredibly happy. I was wondering though where you find your inspiration for darker goth-esque jewish aesthetics

First of all, thank you so much!! About the inspiration, it is kinda hard to answer bc I don't think I've seen any art or anything like that anywhere considering how hard it is to find any jewish art, so I'm just going to assume it's a combination of my own art style + jewish aesthetics. I guess the dull color palette and the elements that I chose for the scenarios and the composition of each piece is what gives this characteristic.

You're very much appreciated 🫶🏻 I don't have any comic YET but I do plan on doing in near future maybe. I still am building my worlds and stories and it takes time, but if you're interested on going deeper than you read and see here on tumblr you can check my Toyhouse, there I post some art, stories updates and shitpost that I don't post anywhere else, also has a lot of lore stuff and very detailed explanations about the characters that I usually keep it short here on Tumblr.
