> Back To School !

Being a full-time pre-medical student and British royalty had a lot of downsides. One of them was the necessity to return to England and leave camp for a while. It was time for Evelyn to go back to classes since school was starting again and time for her to be home before rumours started about her staying in the United States so long.

It was a bittersweet feeling to be wheeling her suitcase out of the Eirene cabin with Willow, her cat, in her arms and looking around. After a couple emotional goodbyes, the last thing she wanted to do was leave her favorite place in the world. She took one last look at the infirmary and smiled sadly, knowing she would miss working there but also knowing she’d be back soon --- as soon as vacation allowed her.

Waving back to a couple people watching her leave, the daughter of Eirene trudged away from the cabins, up Half Blood Hill and towards the beginning of her journey back home. In her mind, she was already making plans to return.

“I hope not.” he mutters quietly looking down at the bed, not wanting to meet her eyes. “I just… I was told on the way here that they want me to stay here until I’m diagnosed but I just.. Ciera is pregnant and is always asking for me and she spends most nights with me, so just I guess let her know I’m here and maybe get someone else to tell her what happened? I don’t want her to be afraid of me. I’d never hurt her.” 

“I’m sure she won’t be, not if she loves you as much as I see she does... Would you like me to let you rest a bit and go let her know what happened?”

Rhys swallowed thickly. “She came up to me, and she wanted to spar, kept asking about who may parent was, and I told her. She asked me what my problem was and I wasn’t in the mood to be an ass so I told her about Ciera, my fiance she’s pregnant and we got some bad news the last time we were at the doctor’s… and then she just kept insulting us, about the fact that we’re failures.. and I just went off I guess. I had anger problems my entire life, and I always got into fights, and I do sometimes, but it’s never been like that. And in my family.,” he let out a bitter laugh shaking his head. “I’m a son of Ares. We fight and we’re good at it. It’s in our blood. As for my family, no. They’re the most peaceful people I’ve ever met.” 

Evelyn frowned. She was thinking the boy may have an emotional problem - being that he couldn’t even remember or control his behavior when in a fit of rage. At least that was what he said. Still, it was not Evelyn’s place to diagnose him - especially since she wasn’t actually a doctor yet. “Perhaps it was a one time thing and might not happen again.” Although she doubted it. “But, just in case, is there anything you’d like? We can arrange to go to a psychiatrist in town. I am no expert, unfortunately.” She smiled and spoke gently and encouragingly.

“Still, you look lovely!,” Evelyn said with a smile. “What other old clothes do you have?”

“I don’t really like skirts, to be honest. Pants are much easier to deal with.”

“I think it suits you, actually! You should definitely wear skirts like that more often. Like the ones when we went shopping.”

“Oh. Thanks.” Diala looks back down at her outfit and crosses her arms. “It’s old, so I was just trying it on for a moment.”

Evelyn smiles happily at the mention of an ultrasound and then nods slowly. “Ah, well, I don’t know if he’s mentioned. But it’s okay, I can come another time...” She chuckled a bit. “You look really good, by the way.”

“I think he’s with Ciera. I think he mentioned something about an ultrasound.” Diala informs her. “What medication?”

“No, it’s not. And I know that no amount of apologizing to her would make anything better because well she’s not really the type to forgive.” he says running a frustrated hand through his hair. “No, it hasn’t happened ever,  I just… couldn’t control myself, I swear I blacked out and I don’t even remember what I said or what I did, but she was bleeding and that’s bad enough.” 

“I didn’t see... I only heard a commotion and came running. But it sounded like you were fighting with her and then started getting violent. And you’re absolutely sure you have no history with anything like this ever happening before? Or anyone in your family?”

Evelyn paused, moving back a bit and then smiling sheepishly. “Sorry, Rhysand said he’s usually here at this time. I was bringing him some medication,” she said, holding up the bottle. She then looked curiously at Diala’s outfit. That was not something Evie ever expected to see on the daughter of Ares.

Diala looks down at the outfit that her mother sent her, along with a letter asking if she remembers wearing. Possibly an attempt at being funny. The cheerleading uniform actually irritates her beyond possible reasoning. She was somehow convinced to join the damn team and somehow, despite her attitude towards the entire sport, became a captain for a few months. In a moment of nostalgic weakness, she decides to try it on for old times sake. It’s a bit tighter around the chest and somehow seems shorter than she remembers but it still fits. Diala flinches a bit when the cabin door swings open and she turns a tad embarrassed at being caught wearing the uniform yet more annoyed at the intrusion. “Were you not taught to knock?”

Rhys was sitting on one of the beds in the infirmary, his knees moving as his brain kept going over everything that had just happened earlier. He was doing so well with his temper, he hadn’t been s fight in months- not since before Ciera was pregnant and what he’d done today, gods he’s nearly killed Lily when they’d been fighting. Glancing quietly up when the daughter of Eirene came closer he shook his head. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know what got over me back there, I’ve been so good about my temper… she just kept talking about me and Ciera and our baby and in wasn’t going to just sit by and let her.” He explains quietly. “Gods what is wrong with me?”

Evelyn smiled sheepishly and sat down on the bed. “... I understand. You were angry and Lily is okay, I promise. Did anything like that ever happen before?

“Hey... Are you feeling better?” Evelyn asked, offering a glass of water to the patient with a gentle smile.

¸.•*¨) ¸ Kelian smiled again and shook her head. “It was not as awful as you might think now,” she tried to assure the other. As a daughter of Nike, and someone who loved competitions, injuries were a part of the game, after all. “And, I know,” taking a deep breah, the blonde braced herself for what was coming. @princess-evelyn​

Evelyn began to clean the wounds, helping to hold down Kelian down a bit as she did so. “See? Not so bad, it’s almost done.” She dabbed a few times more and then stood up. “All good. Now we just have to bandage it and you’ll be good to go! Try to be a bit more careful next time. You’re a child of Nike, right?”

¸.•*¨) ¸ “It is okay. I have been the one falling down, not your fault.” She even managed to give Evelyn a smile. The daughter of Nike was someone who would usually not admit if she was in pain, or not. At least not in front of others. “And, well, we have been a whole group there. Challenging each other who could climb up there free style. First it went well, but then I suddenly stepped into nothing. And end up losing my balance up there.” @princess-evelyn​

Evelyn winced sympathetically and then walked over with the wet cloth. “Sounds awful. You’re lucky you weren’t anymore hurt. Now- this will sting a little bit,” she warned and put the cloth on her wound to disinfect it.

Xavier shook his head, “No..no signs of fever yet. Just a cold for now.” He led the tiger to where the nicely laid out pillows and blankets were before setting it down. “Yea good boy just lie down.” Xavier assured, gently. “Alright..grab me lysine.”

Evelyn looked through the box of supplies before grabbing what looked like a vitamin bottle and handing it over. She then kneeled beside the wild cat, letting him sniff her before she tried to touch him or get too close.

“Really? What about you?” Evelyn smiled a bit playfully.
