I didn't get any of the "ending" ending because i was on the verge of tears LMAO. Tumblr ate the quality a bit for these but whatever.

2 hours into Sword of the Sea so rambling and screenshots under the cut (for spoilers) while i have a break to chill tf out

LORDDDD i am going to give Giant Squid a kiss. Genuinely the most fun i've had with a single player game in a hot minute. The gameplay is a great blend of Abzû and Journey—and this counts towards the aesthetic as well. I can't really compare it to the Pathless, as i have yet to playthrough that one, but yeah. Common Giant Squid W.

I personally LOOOOVED the Mountain/Snowy area, that shit was designed for ME. Huge area in general, speed boost mechanic, tons of fun jumpy spots, a great timed minigame arena, AND THERE ARE SOOOOO MANY SHARKS HOLY SHIT THE SHARK COUNT IS THROUGH THE ROOF!!! Hammerheads n everything!! As well as the ending for the area just 👏👏👏 so good, so cool, so good. That's where I left off for nowww.

Also i am. In love with the Wraith. And the Wanderer(?). Their designs are lovely, and also the Dolphin/Shark dynamic is nice....I sadly didn't get a screenshot of the small lore bit, but it is mentioned that the Great Dolphin and Shark carry the Sea, so!!! That's what the plan is.

But reaaaally satisfying gameplay and lore so far. Anyways, screenshots (mostly of the Wanderer because I am ill for her):

My score btw! Didn't expect there to be one, but now i know...and will try to break it :) I also got 34% completion achievement-wise, so I'll be trying to get the rest of the trophies to 100% it.
