Making a few fast steps to catch up with the one in front of him, Jonathan tapped lightly on their shoulder. “Hey, sorry. I think you just dropped this.” He said holding up a small set of keys up in the air. Although he didn’t see it clearly fall from their pocket, there wasn’t anyone else around, it only seemed fair to assume it was theirs.

licnhevrt:
sweat beaded down her forehead, and her legs were starting to grow NUMB from the incessant running, but the witch continued vigorously down the woodsy trail. music blared through her earphones and helped her power through the aching in her sides, but it also kept her from hearing the oncoming company. as soon as she turned on the corner, sonja collided with a figure. she stepped back, surprised, and took out her earphones. annoyance manifested on her face. “ HEY ―- watch where you’re going ! “
For a moment as his phone rang, he thought it was his was his mother. He stared at the screen for a moment as he walked, long enough for the phone ring to stop on its own, and for Jonathan to collide with someone else. “Sorry, I just, I thought I got...” Glancing at his phone, he shook his head for a brief second before looking at her again. “You know what? Forget it, I’m sorry.”

killerkali:
If she had known who it was on the other line, she wouldn’t have answered the damn phone. She had barely gotten a word in edgewise with her mother, but that was honestly fine with her. The more time that her mother spent talking about the issues going on in her basically picture perfect life, the less time that she spent prying into Kali’s. However, it wouldn’t be a phone call with her mother without a lecture and a slew of hurt feelings by the end. Her face grew hard as her mother berated her for her life choices, a speech that the older woman probably had memorized by now. Eventually, Kali had had enough. “Mom, I’m sorry, but I just don’t want to deal with this right now. I have to go.”
She hung up the phone with a huff, shaking her head. “Bitch,” she muttered under her breath.
It seemed to be a rather private conversation, one he definitely wasn’t meant to hear. But it was rather hard not to here bits now and then when he was sitting at the table right beside hers. Jonathan did try to tune it off, but apart from his phone, he really didn’t have anything to distract him from the conversation. So obviously, when she ended the conversation, the boy couldn’t help but to look in her direction. It wasn’t his intention to pry, and he was not going to force her to talk, but he couldn’t stay quiet. “Is everything alright?”

in some ways , erik can come across as quite brutal . but at times like THIS , he decides to humour the male by acting as such . ❛ hm ; i suppose if you replace it then your head will remain intact . ❜
“My... head?” Jonathan said, quite obviously believing the other’s threat. “I don’t think that’s a suitable punishment for a broken handle... Right?” He still wasn’t quite aware of the customs of this place, but in no way did it seem like the right consequence to such an accident.

bledfrom:
— JONATHAN && LUCIANO @wherewolfreeves
too much EMPTY SILENCE. the scents of past cooked food still lingered within the premises and made him long for his shift to finally end, to return to his apartment and fill the flat with comforting scents of acrylic paints and wood shavings from dulled pencils. a ring, door swinging open to allow the body of the man through, a warm smile placing upon luciano’s features. ❝ hey, feel free to sit where you like. i’ll bring you a menu in just one second. ❞
If there was one thing Jonathan hated from not leaving with his parents anymore, it was cooking. He was quite easily the worst cook when he left home, and that barely changed since. So he’d often opt for restaurants, particularly when he wasn't feeling like cooking. “Thanks.” He replied with a small smile, taking the closest place to where he was standing. It was quite empty, making him almost uncomfortable to stay silent. “Is this place always this... empty?”

A loud sigh left his lips as he turned yet another page. He’d been told to stop by the library, he’d probably find more answers to his questions there. But he was never really into books, so it was kind of a pain. “If I didn’t need to read this, I swear I would give up.” He muttered, mostly to himself, since he hadn’t realized someone else was close enough to hear him.

“I swear it wasn’t me.” Jonathan started, although he could see how he looked guilty. He was the one holding a broken doorknob, after all. “I was just trying to open the door and it... well, this happened.” He continued, giving the other a small, sheepish, smile.

“I really don’t think I’ll be able to get used to this place. There’s... way too much going on, and I already had enough of what was going on with me. How am I supposed to deal with everything else?”

dcvilisms:
the tires of her car screeched in protest as she quickly slammed the brakes causing the vehicle to come to a sudden stop. for a moment it was as if it had stopped time as well and juliette stared through the wind shield in surprise as the spot she had been starting to pull into was now stolen by the car that had made a sharp turn in front of her. the wise thing to do would’ve been turn the the wheel and drive somewhere else, find a different parking spot and yet juliette unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door, “did you get your drivers license off of amazon or something? that was my spot.”
Joe prefered walking much more to driving, or taking the bus Actually, since he left his hometown, he hadn’t even driven anything yet. And it wasn’t something he planned on doing anything soon. So he wasn’t in the parking to get his car, he was just really walking through the parking to get to the restaurant. “Maybe it was in a cereal box.” The boy shrugged, before a small smile formed on his lips, and he pointed to a spot even closer that was just getting freed. “But seems like karma is on your side.”

dcvilisms:
“no, no, no, don’t hang up!” the brunette protested, balancing the phone between her ear and her shoulder as she attempted to scribbled down keywords onto the notepad in her hands, “hello?” the dial tone rang through the phone and dropping her shoulders it fell to the ground. clary contemplated leaving it there. the cons would be most likely losing her job for not answering her phone and the pros would be most likely losing her job. “hey, can i ask you a question?” clary called out, gaze meeting that of a passerby, “how many complete shit jobs have you ever had?”
A gym bag was loosely hanging from his shoulder as he walked back from the gym. Even with a day off, Joe rarely missed an opportunity to go there. Maybe perhaps it was because he still didn’t know that many people, and he’d rather spend it at the gym than locked in his room, alone. So yes, he was a little surprised when someone called out to him, but not in a bad way. He just saw it as a good opportunity to meet someone new. “Well, considering I’ve only ever had one job, and so far I like it, no I haven’t.”

Hello people, this be Val, presenting you her first character! A little about me: I’m 22, EST, use she/her, and my work is crazy so if I disappear, I’m probs working.
( cody christian. male. he/him. ) ✞ jonathan reeves has found their sanctuary in sanctum. the werewolf is 21 years old and whispers on the street describe the stepford smiler as charming & outgoing, as well as impulsive & secretive.
Jonathan is French Canadian, he was born in Montreal, and grew up there for a large part of his life. And he was actually born Mathieu Lemaire.
An only child, he was given almost pretty much anything he wanted? But he wasn’t acting too much like he had everything for granted. And the only thing he really, really, wanted was to play both football and hockey, even if those were expensive.
So he did play both of those sports for nearly 10 years, as he started when he was 4. And damn was he good. And loved. Jonathan was always a pretty chill kid, so he’d get along with mostly all of the players.
He did have some anger issues though, but at the time, he didn’t know, since his anger would be taken out playing football and tackling things and people.
But in his second year of secondary school, when he was 13, he realized playing two sports was way too much. So he decided to quit football, since he prefered hockey anyway. But that also meant his anger issues started popping up more and more often.
Still, he kept on improving and playing, and by the time he was 16, he got drafted to play in the QJMHL. That was probably the best day of his life, and he LOVED playing in the league, because he was one step closer to being a professional.
But his dream came crashing down when he was 19. Over the years, he started getting a little more violent, not only on the ice, but outside as well. And that night, he went way too far.
He was coming back from a night out in a bar after their last victory when someone approached him in the street. He didn’t realize it at first, but then realized the knife in his direction, and that they were trying to steal from him. Anger kicked in, and before he realized, the person was on the ground. Still, Joe kept on punching them. It was only when he felt his arm getting tired that he stopped, and to his horror, the other person didn’t seem to be breathing anymore.
And that was when fear took over. He couldn’t get himself get caught for it, so he had to run. It was a hard choice, but without leaving any trace, Joe took off. Got his passport and some clothes from home while his parents were sleeping, got a bus ticket, and headed to the states.
His first stop was Boston. There, he found a sketchy, but somehow reliable person. They helped him change his name, get a new identity. And that how he went from Mathieu Lemaire to Jonathan Reeves, born in NYC instead of Montreal. That was mainly how he started to get more relaxed going around in the open, because now he had a new identity, one that could back him up.
But a few nights later, something happened. He only has vague memories of running out once the full moon started and taking shelter in a forest, which is where he woke up. He started researching on his condition, and it did catch the attention of a regular at the library. To this day, he still isn’t sure who they were, but they were the one to point him in direction of Sanctum, which is where he found answers to his condition.
Random facts:
Speaks both English and French.
LOVES CATS
Still plays football and hockey with friends probs.
Bisexual af but doesn’t realize it yet.
His mother was a werewolf, but saying as she wasn’t triggered and didn’t know, that was how Joe remained oblivious to his state.
He works as a personal trainer in a gym because he just really loves training and his life would be nothing without it.
