Being aroace is so cool, but so, so hard sometimes. Watching all the persons you hold dear finding *their* person. Grieving the idea of an allo relationship. Realizing that, maybe, somehow, you're the second choice fo everyone. Because friends are great, but **lovers** are the goal in our society.
Most of the time, i am sooo happy to be aroace. And then, when im alone in bed, at 3 am, i find myself crying by fear of being alone.
And I think it's normal. It's grieving a certain way of thinking. And it's hard, especially when you were raised this way, and that everyone keeps doubting your identity.
So yeah. Shout-out to all the aroace people, wanting a deeper connection, without wanting romantic love.
I love y'all

Yes. Have YOU considered that sometimes working on hard things is both necessary and worthwhile?

if 3000+ devices exploded simultaneously and thousands got injured, 37+ ppl died in usa or london or france anywhere in the imperial core this website would be talking about it nonstop. my coworkers' relatives are lebanese and he hasn't been able to contact them because everyone's nervous of using anything with a lithium battery. the kids from diaspora are teaching their parents how to turn off find my phone and airdrop and other geolocating options. it's absurd to me people are carrying on like its normal, or just don't care cause c'mon ppl blow up in the middle east all the time, right?

Israel just carried out a large-scale terrorist attack in Lebanon by causing a number of pagers to simultaneously explode across the country, injuring thousands of people.
It's a developing story, but so far eight people, including an eight-year-old girl, have been confirmed murdered in the attack. An additional 3,000 have been injured.
I've seen Western media outlet report on this like its a target attack on Hezbollah fighters, with media figures in my own country using words like 'sophisticated' and 'impressive' in their reporting.
Look at this still from a video capturing one the pagers going off, and tell me what you see:
Does this look like a justified "military target" to you?
We don't know how these pagers were compromised yet, or who were carrying them, but we're starting to get a good idea of where they exploded, and so far, from the videos circulating online, that includes shops, supermarkets, buses, cars, civilian homes and hospitals.
If this had been done by any other country in the region, it would have been called a terrorist attack.

Texas doesn't have mail in voting, you can't register to vote online, and you have to register 30 days before election day.
Republicans do not want you to vote. SPITE THEM.

I'm seeing a lot of the same arguments and thoughts about this election as we had in 2016. I don't want to see that repeated. Neither do you. So we have to come together and vote in record numbers. We defeated MAGA once. We have to do it again.
