What is Photogram?
Photogram is basically an image make without using a digital camera, or any kind of camera really. You place objects into plain sight of photographic paper which is light-sensitive material, exposing it to light. You get a sort of negative result which is usual. You also get little bits of tone but that depends of the transparency of the object.
Anna Atkins.
Anna Atkins was a botanist and a photographer. she was often considered as the first person to publish a book illustrated with photographic images. Some sources says she was the first female photographer.
she would collect dried plants which were probably used for creating photograms. She is best known for her work with cyanotypes.
Anna Atkins was inspired by the advice given to her by William Henry Fox Talbot (who was a photographer she had learnt from). Her first book was ‘Photographs of the British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions’ (1893)
Her work was of dried plants, leaves and she would have handwritten text at the bottom of it. There are only 13 copies of it that are known to exist.

It was videoed from an angle in slightly the same directions as the ducks in the pond, you can see the pond flow in different directions as the duck swims.

Julie Cockburn, best known for unknown faces from past portraits with spirals or cubes of coloured thread stitched on in different shapes. She hunts for discarded photography at flea markets or car boot sales.
The artist uses self portraits that were taken years ago of anonymous people. Her artwork takes some days to make or sometimes more than that. She gives a sort of distorted effect on their faces like cuts up parts of their faces from different photos and places them in a different order like this. She has a love for using old unwanted photography in all of her art work, says its like searching for gold.

Kris Trappeniers. Paper cut/line art artist based in Belgium. His inspiration is by the people who he is surrounded by such as friends, family, his day to day experiences and communication with the ones around him.
What i like about his work? What I like is how messy yet clean it is and how chaotic it looks but you can still tell what it is.
To me how i looks at it is that all those lines represents what is going on inside a person’s mind, how they’re feeling, what they’re seeing. I really like his work, I would defiantly try and create some of his work but in my own style.
