February 13th is Chocolate Making Day at the Sagara household, where Mao and Seiji team up to make a huge batch of chocolates so they can give them out to everyone they know.
After the events of Happiness Charge Precure, Seiji makes sure to make chocolates for every Precure. All of them.

"Happy Birthday, Seiji~!" Hime beamed, tossing a handful of confetti in the air as she did hours before with the others when the clock struck twelve. In the midst of earlier celebrations, the Princess didn't have the time to hand over her gift, so now was the perfect time. "I know I said it before, but here's to a prosperous year for you!" She held up a hoodie in the boy's favorite color, but it had an interesting addition to it's hood--dog ears. "I made sure Mao-chan had a matching one too!"
“Oh, Hime, thank you!” Seiji flashed his usual wide grin as he accepted his present from the girl. Honestly, he was more than a little surprised that it was a hoodie, given how much Hime seemed to resent the things- to the point where she had nightmares, about them, even!
But when he saw the attached dog ears, he felt like he understood.
“Where did you even find something like this?” He asked, pulling lightly at one of the ‘ears’.

"Oi, Sagara-kun!" Maria scurried over, a smile on her face as she stopped the birthday boy in his tracks. "I thought I wouldn't see you today, but I'm glad we finally crossed paths... aaand this is for you~" Reaching into her bag, the elder Hikawa held out a carefully wrapped present. One look, and anyone could figure out that there was something book shaped underneath the wrapping paper; a new sketchbook to be exact. "Tama-chan mentioned she saw you running low on pages, so... here~!"
“Oh, Hikawa-san, happy new years to you.” Seiji easily greeted the older girl, pleased to see the older sister of his rival on this auspicious day. That said, it wasn’t like he was expecting anything from her, so when she pulled out a present, Seiji couldn’t help but blink, surprise crossing his face.
“O-oh, thank you.” Seiji stammered, carefully taking the present from her, before he finally managed to contain his surprise, smiling at her. “That’s very kind of you, Hikawa-san. I’m sure I’ll get a great deal of use out of this.”

"U-um, Seiji!" Tamako called out, much louder than she would have liked, because she preferred if the object of her affections didn't think she was a nuisance. This was the start of a new year, so that meant new beginnings... and not being afraid to express her feelings! "T-this... this is for you!" Thrusting a self-decorated (with her favorite crayons at that!) bag into the birthday boy's chest, her gaze didn't waver this time. "H-happy birthday, Seiji! I made this bear with you in mind!"
If Seiji was the least bit startled by how loudly Tamako had called out to him, it didn’t show on his face, his usual easy grin appearing as he turned around to greet the girl.
“For me?” Seiji blinked, carefully taking the bag from her, for a moment wondering why- before he recalled that today was his own birthday. Sometimes in the festivities of the New Year, it tended to slip his mind.
Carefully unwrapping the package, he gently took the handmade bear in his hands, a soft smile forming on his face as he gazed at the handmade bear and it’s equally handmade red hoodie. “It looks like the two of us match, huh? Thank you, Tamako. I’ll treasure it.”

"You work hard on every other day, so you have to relax on your birthday." Iona told her boyfriend rather sternly, though she soon gave him an affectionate smile before continuing to massage his shoulders. "Honestly, darling, you're so tense... I have to start doing this more often. Ah, by the way, your actual present is a three-day trip to an onsen. I'm going too, of course."
Seiji nearly melted into the strong, yet gentle hands of his girlfriend as she massaged his shoulders, what felt like a year’s worth of accumulated stress melting away as she did so. He’d heard from Maria that her sister was an expert at giving massage, but he had to admit, he’d underestimated just how skilled she was at this.
A look of pure bliss on his face was broken as Iona spoke up, mentioning that she had an even more elaborate present in store for him- and he couldn’t help but give her a soft smile. “Then, I’ll look forward to it, Hikawa. This would be our first trip together as a couple, won’t it?”
“Although, I hope it goes better than the last time we all had a reunion party at one...”

So long time no see, huh? I’ve been struggling pretty bad with executive dysfunction issues lately so I haven’t been able to bring myself around to the RP scene for awhile in spite of all intents of coming off hiatus, however!
January 1st is both the start of the new year, and the day I headcanon Seiji’s birthday as. So I plan to try and jump back into roleplaying on this day! Look forward to it!

Why do you let Maria throw you off of cliffs?
“Why do you assume I let her?”

Stubborn... really was the right word for her, huh?
Even Seiji, as used to interacting with children as he was, was a little taken aback by it- even though he had somewhat expected this, he had apparently underestimated just how stubborn his rival was as a child. Although thinking back on it, she had been pretty stubborn about making him her rival, too...
Well, it couldn’t be helped.
Heaving a sigh, Seiji simply gave her an easy grin, deciding to let the subject drop for now. It wouldn’t be good to get her all worked up in this situation.
“I do. I’m a black belt, in fact. What color belt is your sister, Iona-chan?”
A Day at the Park (open RP, magic anon)
“I really don’t think you can.” Iona retorted as soon as Seiji finished speaking, frowning deeply at his insistence. He was almost as bad as her sister! Maria was only worse because she didn’t just insist, she could always make Iona blush when it came to the subject of cuteness. Not to mention the fact that Maria knew all of her ticklish spots, and Iona could never stay pouty for too long around her. Even if she was mean sometimes, though, the little girl couldn’t help but miss her terribly.
“Oh, yes, that was it. Dis-ci-pli-ne.” Iona nodded as Seiji spoke up again, saying the word slowly to make sure that she’d remember. “I hope you’re right, I can’t wait to start… You said you practice karate, right? What’s your belt color?”
“You know seven warriors? That’s really cool, but… They’re all cute?” She asked, clearly skeptical. “Well, maybe it’s true, but just because you can be strong and cute doesn’t mean I am.” She added after a moment in thought, pouting a little. “I’m really not cute, not at all.”

Just as she’d recovered her composure after making a mistake, Iona felt her face heating up, to a startling degree at that  - though it was due to Seiji’s words instead of embarrassment, and suddenly she didn’t really mind if the whole Blue Sky Kingdom court and the other noble guests saw her flushed.
In fact, she was even able to momentarily forget about them. Her posture had still been somewhat stiff despite her having begun to feel calmer beforehand, but now she found herself relaxing completely. It wasn’t hard to do, it wasn’t even a conscious action - it was just natural that it would happen, as looking into Seiji’s blue eyes wiped all other thoughts from her mind.
“Darling…” She murmured, giving him a soft smile. “Thank you. It’s the same for me, although I’m far less used to these formal events than you are I’m glad we can be together. I’ll grow more used to it with time, I suppose, and being with you makes it a lot easier.”
Seiji found his own cheeks turning a faint shade of pink in turn, as he watched the red color creep into Iona’s cheeks. No matter what expression she wore, he always thought Iona was beautiful- the most beautiful person in the room, in fact.
Although that was a bit too embarrassing for him to say out loud, granted. Even the Blue Sky Kingdom Prince had his weaknesses.
“You’ll get used to them in time.” Seiji softly promised her, carefully leading her into another turn. “I’ll be by your side, always, honey. I won’t let anyone make you feel out of place.”
Well, not that Iona would back down to some stuffy nobles.

Ah, that’s right. Seiji had a younger sister. Tsubasa didn’t see Mao too often, though. Tsubasa chuckled a little at Seiji’s remark about Megumi. From what she knew about the other girl, she had a lot of energy.
“She does seem the type to get injured a lot…”
“Eh, do you know Megumi, onee-chan?” Seiji tilted his head to the side, growing curious. It wasn’t often that he and Megumi weren’t hanging out together, so it was strange that this girl knew Megumi, but he didn’t know her.
“She falls over a lot. Sometimes she gets stuck in places too. Like trees or roofs.”

Fated Rivals (@musingrealm)

Perhaps it was some kind of fate that drew him to the Hikawa dojo that afternoon.
“I want to get stronger!”
It was the first thing the brown haired boy blurted out upon entering the dojo, a determined look in his eyes, uncharacteristic perhaps for a young boy of his age. It hadn’t been easy convincing his mother to let him join a dojo in the first place, especially since he hadn’t completely recovered from his accident four months prior- but he felt, to his core, that this was something that he had to do. That he wanted to do.
“Please let me join this dojo!”

“I see! Then, a cafe it is then!” Seiji couldn’t help but flash one of his broad grins as Iona agreed to his plan. Honestly, he’d actually spent a considerable amount of time trying to pick out a nice place to eat. Hime might complain that he wasn’t romantic enough, but even Seiji understood the importance of Valentine’s Day, especially considering this was their first one as a couple.
“It’s not far here from here, only just a block’s walk.” Seiji told her. Without really thinking about it too much, he reached over and took hold of Iona’s hand, carefully looping his fingers with hers. Of course, once his fingers locked with hers, a hint of red crept into his cheeks again, but this time, he managed to keep his embarrassment underneath control.
“Let’s go, shall we? We want to get there before it gets busy. And don’t worry, I made certain it was both delicious and economical!”
Valentine's Date
Iona returned her boyfriend’s grin with a smile of her own, the blush on her cheeks subsiding - although now it was Seiji’s turn to flush, even if there wasn’t an apparent reason. They were so intense during sparring matches, but in any other situation neither of them could avoid being flustered… Thankfully, it wasn’t due to awkwardness, but rather because of how much they loved each other.
That thought was enough to turn Iona’s face bright red yet again.
“A-Ah, I had nothing else in mind, not in particular.” The young woman managed to say after taking a moment to get herself together. “A cafe sounds like a wonderful start, darling.” She added, giving him another smile. As an added bonus, Hime would probably have approved of such a place, and perhaps she might spare them of a lecture about romance for once. “So, where exactly is the place you had in mind?”

When Seiji began to turn towards her, gazing at her with cold eyes, Iona could feel a chill running down her spine. This was almost exactly like the first (and last, she’d hoped) time, except for the fact that she hadn’t been alone then. Besides, it didn’t make any sense for him to be like this, not now, not after Red’s change of heart, not ever.
Iona briefly considered contacting her teammates somehow, but before she could even reach for her phone her usual sparring partner took a step forward - then stepped on his notebook, an item that was usually so important to him. The words that followed were enough to make Iona’s heart stop beating for a second. He couldn’t really mean it…
Yet he did, as much as it hurt to admit. Seiji wasn’t himself right now, he was being controlled by some kind of evil, so of course he’d say such things and attempt to go through with them. Iona really wouldn’t stand for that, though. Being alone against him wasn’t the best situation, but she had her Innocent Form, she had her fists… and she had her strong feelings for Seiji. Surely they’d be able to reach him.
“Kirarin Star Symphony!” She shouted, and after the transformation was completed Cure Fortune stood in her customary pose. “The star of hope shining in the night sky, Cure Fortune!”
Her expression changed the moment he stepped on the notebook she had been holding out to him. Although Seiji dimly registered this, he couldn’t imagine why, not recalling at the moment that the notebook in question was of any importance to him.
Whatever the case, it had been enough to force her to transform, which was what he wanted. As she introduced herself as the star of hope, Cure Fortune, there was a glimmer of something within his otherwise dead eyes- anticipation for the fight to come.
Somehow, he could feel his heart pound in something close to excitement- he knew that he would be getting a good match out of her, although he didn’t understand the reason for this knowledge nor did he question it.
“Prepare yourself, Cure Fortune.” With that being all the warning he gave, Seiji dashed forward, quickly closing the distance between the two of them. Firing off a bolt of dark energy towards her, he didn’t waste any time launching straight into battle.
