  Serena had often dreamt of sword fighting, seeing it as one of her many hobbies and pleasures. She learnt from the best, and held up to expectations placed upon her. She wanted to share the gift that was passed down to her, her ability to sword fight extraordinarily, with the Princess coming to visit her. Although her partner (as she liked to say) was very hesitant on picking up the craft for the many, many visits she had paid, she had finally given in to Serena’s borderline begging. She was more than grateful for the opportunity that had arisen. It wasn’t every day she got to see Dawn. She needed to appreciate every moment they spent together. She heard the faint steps of her guest making their way to the courtyard she had already been in. The brunette had perched herself on a stone bench, fantasizing about how the day could possibly go. It didn’t take long for the Princess to get there, almost breathless.  Despite the current look she had gotten from all her running, Serena thought none of it, and was only happy to see Dawn’s dazzling smile. “ Hello! It feels like so long since I’ve seen such an excited face, “ She remarked, walking towards Dawn with open arms. Serena wasn’t one to keep formalities going for long, and it was proven in all her actions with Dawn. 

Of course, their day was just only getting started.

     Her hair pulled into a side-ponytail, one hand gripping on to the opening of her brown cloak covering her face, the other clutching on to the bag that held the silver sword, that she has been gifted with from her brunette friend. 

    It almost seem like a dammed thing to say a Princess like herself would even dare touch a weapon with ill intent in her body, in which, the other royal have reassured her countless, countless of times that it mustn’t be lifted without reasoning. But even then, with Dawn’s upcoming and teachings, she wasn’t sure if she should be doing this to begin with. But there was a strange joy within her doing so.  Her father have been out for political business with another kingdom far away, and he was hell bent on giving orders to not only to the guards, but his own daughter that she never leaves the castle within his absence. But of course, Dawn have won the sympathy of her advisers and knights from the days of her tragedy, and have long been helping the young girl see the outside world for herself.  ( but how she must keep the secret of the girl away from them; in fear of what they would think of them. )

    Her heart have been racing, beating vigorously against her chest, as she wasted no time getting herself into the court yard, all while making sure there was nobody in sight, erasing any ideas that she might be captured. The courtyard’s walls were decorated with livid roses varying of colors, the sun shining down the garden below them. It was a stark contrast of the blue-haired own kingdom, where the sun almost never seemed to shine, but were complimented by the beauty of the moon and stars, and flowers that only ever bloomed in night. Most would say it was a melancholic land, but the people were often filled with joy with fireworks and lights they get to set off.

 “ L–Lady Serena ! “ She was out of breath, her voice of presence coming off as a hoarse whisper than a steady one.She quickly took off the hood of her cloak, revealing her face to the foreign princess. Her hair was in a frizzle mess despite being in a pony tail, breathing hard to catch her breath, her smile shone the brightest despite it all, a feeling of excitement and joy replacing the feeling of fear and worry within her heart.

     And did it beat faster.
