They never understand the fact that:
If Frozen didn’t get 1.3b of box office Frozen2 would never happen!
Which means all you F2 fans saying Elsa wanna be free and Anna being queen would never happen, because the end of Frozen was the end of the franchise. In other words, all the creators had never ever thought that Elsa need to leave Arendelle to get her “freedom”, because she was already free when she learned “love”! Her people love her, her families love her, Anna loves her, she loves herself. What else in the world is more important than LOVE? Nothing! So Elsa’s ending in F1 was her perfect ending.
But unfortunately, all are retconed after Frozen got 1.3 billion box office when Disney expected to get more from its sequel.
So what you are supporting about “Elsa wants freedom” was not the original value of the franchise, you’re just supporting something derived from the box office, not from the first Frozen.
Pardon, that's your wishful thinking. The ending of Frozen was undeveloped enough and immature. She could not immediately start her duties as if nothing had happened. 3 YEARS CANNOT OUTWEIGH 13. But the Forest of Shadows, her songs and the scene with Bruni show that Elsa continued to feel out of place, that all was hard for her. And Anna can't help her, she only stops her, she suffocates her with her care. Ahtohallan and Northuldra will treat Elsa better, not as a freak and not as a weak one.
this is my last reply to you cause i've used your other anon to block you, since you're fucking annoying. lol
that ONLY book, was used as introduction to F2, the writer said it, Jenn said it, so ofc they put in there the seed, of what they wanted to see in F2. And this means it doesn't matter. Cause you can't use the beginning of a retcon to prove the retcon is legit.
It's always a fucking retcon.
Elsa does NOT live with the tribe, they're nomads, and they probably already left as their bio in several frozen magazines said. "Hm is happy the forest is free so she can leave and see the world with her brother Ryder", it said. Official Frozen merch.
Also these people you care so much about disappeared from the comics 19 months ago because THE KIDS HATED THEM. LOL
And Frozen is a movie for kids, they decide what works and what doesn't, and they even cut the HM scene in half cause the focus group of kids said SHE WAS DAMN ANNOYING.
So I'm sorry if you liked her 52 seconds of screentime so much to DESTROY what frozen is about in your mind: ELSA AND ANNA TOGETHER.
Elsa is alone with the spirits, as seen in every POST-F2 books, and if you consider forest of shadows as canon, then you have to believe these other books are canon too, since they're always Disney. You can't choose to believe only what fit your little shipper' agenda. It's too easy. So, the books say Elsa does not leave with those STRANGERS, but with the spirits. Alone, with magic beings who don't even talk, and it's horrible. Almost as horrible as if she lived with the northuldra: STRANGERS.
I'm not interested in your weird AND wrong vision of Frozen, go away.

All of this👆👆
Did the anon just replace Let It Go with Life’s Too Short in their head canon? Cause Let It Go never mentioned the castle was cage but Life’s Too Short did.
Why the creators replaced Life’s Too Short with Let It Go? Because they didn’t even think the castle is the cage of Elsa. All Elsa wanted to let go was her fear, not her castle or her job.
Elsa abandoned Arendelle and built ice castle in the first movie, not just because she was scared, but also because she wanted to give up everything. The castle and the locked rooms in which she had been caged for so many years. She threw away the crown. She needs air and freedom. And this is more than the sister, more than the duty. Anna and the kingdom stopped her. But only for three years. As soon as she found a convenient reason, she immediately ran away again. She doesn't need anyone.
See this is your problem, you project your theories on the movie, stuff you think are right but are NEVER said in the movie.
"Elsa left cause she wanted to give up everything"
Tumblr media
Elsa left for ONE REASON ONLY: she was scared to hurt the people she loved. Everything you added to this, it's in your mind only and IT'S WRONG. It's your wishful thinking, but it's NOT what the movie said and IT'S WRONG.
She throw away the crown? Exactly, and why?
BEFORE: being queen meant being hidden in a room, conceal her powers, hide them, being scared of hurting people.
But what's changed then?
AFTER: She accepted her powers, Anna helped her to realize she can be in Arendelle with her people, doing her job, loving her sister and her friends, without hurting them.
She always thought that:
"my powers = living like THAT"
but as soon as Anna shows her she doesn't have to be scared of her powers, and that she can enjoy them and live with them...she went for it with an open heart, and she loves it, as Jenn Lee said several times and as YOU KEEP IGNORING CAUSE IT DOESN'T FIT YOUR AGENDA!!!!!!!!
And that's why she goes back home, the home she always missed in fact her ice palace is a castle like the one she lived in, and happily lives with her sister and her family as we see in the shorts, in countless books.
You have to ignore the end of Frozen, FF, OFA, books and magazines in order to make your little theory work. It's not worth it.
You connect the beginning of Frozen, with the end of Frozen 2, forgetting that the issue of Frozen (Elsa is scared to hurt people) was completely SOLVED at the end of Frozen, and every short, story or book after that proved it AGAIN AND AGAIN.
Elsa leaves in F2 cause Jenn Lee wanted Anna as queen, not because the character LASSETER creater and understood, Elsa, wanted to shit in the woods.
So, TBH, it's YOU who misunderstood Elsa.
Go back to think about your stable boy or other secondary characters and leave Elsa alone, she's not for you.

You ever wonder how the citizens of Arendelle feel about the whole "two queens but one isn't here and is just prancing around the woods"? They had a snow queen, someone who had a stronger advantage in protecting them in a war, who - from their perspective - up and left them with an untrained, but "qualified because she's mature and has a bf" younger sister who was once able to get to their level and connect with them because she was the spare and had more free time to be with them.
(Part 2): Now they're stuck with a magical, child-like snowman and reindeer as representation for their royal family - what a joke.
--------------------------
I really think Elsa gave more queenly vibes. I don’t think a queen has to spend time among her people, it’s absolutely right to take a bit of distance. It helps to maintain the perspective and detachment that is needed for the job.
A queen like Anna, who is more like a friend than an authority figure, is not the kind of character I’m interested in. Others may like it and appreciate it, but I don’t. It’s like watching Princess Sofia playing with her subjects or other princesses while his father rules. They thought that aging her 3 years and giving her the look of a 40yr old would be enough, but they just ruined her even more, IMO.
Now, if she’s funny and plays with her people I don’t like it cause doesn’t look like the kind of queen I like, and if she is...what Elsa was, I say she looks like a 40yr old and that she is and trapped in a role that isn’t made for her.
There is no way to win (with me), on this topic. It’s ruined. The end. I’m not interested in her anymore.
I don’t know what her subjects may think, but I wouldn’t like these changes at all.

hey so this last let it go post inspired me to finally rant about why I didn’t like what Frozen 2 did to Elsa
first of all, Frozen 2 did a lot of things right. it did right by Anna, who was sheltered and naive in the first movie but was still the grounded, proactive and ridiculously badass one of the sisters. Like she gets criticized for her odd choices but rewatch it!!! Anna just fucking grabs a horse and runs off into the mountains after her suddenly-revealed-to-be-an-ice-witch-sister, and when the horse throws her off and runs away FROZEN, BARELY WALKING, SHE MAKES IT TO SHELTER, and then does she go back? NO SHE BRIBES THE FIRST GUY SHE MEETS TO TAKE HER FURTHER UP AFTER HER SISTER. Anna is amazing and Frozen 2 did FUCKING RIGHT by her.
Anyway, Elsa.
Frozen 2 made two changes to her power:
- it nerfed it signfiicantly
- it made it generic “magic”
which like what??? what the fuck???? how is this the sequel to the first movie? because guys guys I will I WILL throw hands over this
Elsa’s powers aren’t just generic inoffensive “magic”. Elsa’s powers are ICE. Have yall SEEN the opening song (the one in English)?
THIS ICY FORCE BOTH FOUL AND FAIR
SEE THE BEAUTY SHARP AND SHEER
BEAUTIFUL POWERFUL DANGEROUS COLD
ICE HAS A MAGIC CAN’T BE CONTROLLED
STRIKE FOR LOVE AND STRIKE FOR FEAR
THERE’S BEAUTY AND THERE’S DANGER HERE
Elsa’s magic is two things:
1) inherently dangerous - inherently that of an element hostile to life
2) POWERFUL
That’s what the first movie is entirely about! Elsa’s magic is not generic - it’s specifically ice, that’s why they thought it might be a curse! (And oh, the factually-retcon on her mom… geez) Elsa controls ICE, not because of any character trait or choice of hers, she has always controlled ice, she was this cheery, happy child running around making skating rinks and snowmen because her winter powers just Are. They’re a fact everything else has to recon with.
And it’s POWERFUL. It’s powerful and it’s terrifying because it’s powerful and out of control but it’s not out of control because it’s powerful nor is it powerful because it’s out of control. Powerful it just IS, it always was, and the loss of control is a result of fear. It’s not inherent to the power, it’s imposed from the outside, AND THAT IS ALSO AN IMPORTANT THEME. Elsa meanwhile builds that beautiful frozen palace in a strike of inspiration just because she can, and Elsa is shown at the end making a skating rink just for the heck of it.
Elsa who struggles with putting out a forest fire is not the Elsa from the first movie, whose powers are so much a part of her, she creates an alive, animate, sentient snowman with a swirl of her hand out of a childish memory without even later remembering she did. Elsa from the first movie who stomps and ice spreads around her, who built a frozen bridge into the air as she was running on it, who ACCIDENTALLY plunged Arendelle into eternal winter and hadn’t even realized she did, because through all her struggles one thing that defines the movie is that she is POWERFUL.
Elsa causes the (environmental) problems and Elsa can solve them. Any power other characters have over the plot is because Elsa gave it or forefeited it. The plot revolves around Elsa on every level.
And I mean it’s valid for the second movie to explore different themes, put Elsa in different situations, sure!
But…
But there IS that neurodivergence/disability/queerness analogy. Something that Elsa is born with and learns to hate and fear, something that makes her self-exile, something that others cannot ignore when interacting with her - except for when they do, when her sister does, and won’t you know it, it turns out Elsa’s a person - but it’s real, too, it’s not “all in their heads”, and pretending it’s just not there and doesn’t matter doesn’t go well either…
…it’s not neutral. “I don’t care what they’re going to say” is meaningful and resonates because we know the fear is real and that “they” (represented by the Weaseltown guy) have already said that Elsa is a witch and a monster, just as she feared they would. And Elsa’s powers really can kill, because Elsa’s powers are ICE, not flowers and fairies.
(in the second movie Elsa’s powers could have been made to be flowers and fairies powers and LITERALLY NOTHING would have changed about the plot. She cannot even freeze the storming ocean to make her way towards her goal! She FREEZES TO DEATH AT ONE POINT KSJDFHKSJDFH)
And in that non-neutrality it has power. This is important: Let It Go, in this metaphor, takes the vulnerability of queerness/neurodivergence and makes the power that -phobes so fear real. What if there WAS a good reason to fear us? What if we DID have power, and the only thing standing between us and claiming it was the perspective of social ostracism?
The answer of “and self-acceptance and other-acceptance is still right and hostility is still wrong” is meaningful and powerful and important.
“There’s beauty and there’s danger here”
Taking away the danger in the sequel, leaving only the beauty… The second movie literally has nothing to do with the first one. It doesn’t take ANY narrative elements from it other than “there are two sisters”. It looks at “let it go” and goes “anyway once you’ve let the thing go it disappears and is never a problem ever again”.
That’s… that’s not what “let it go” is about though. That’s not how it works. You let go of the fear, and then you’re still stuck with the thing. You stop being homophobic, and you’re still gay. You learn that “autistic” doesn’t deserve to be an insult, and you’re still autistic. The essence of the difference is not a mirage! It’s not self-caused!
But the Frozen franchise, it just takes that to play with and then puts the toys back. They don’t really feel like exploring the aftermath, you know, they’d rather start Elsa from 0 as a level 1 sorcerer than write her as a level 20 one. What’s interesting about what happens next after you self-accept, anyway?
Anyway, Frozen Heart and Let It Go are good.

also the ending of frozen 2 was bad bc we circled all the way back around to “being different means society just isn’t for you” and sure “Elsa just wanted to live alone in her frozen palace” is a factual observation from the first movie but that kind of ignores WHY she wanted it and how the resolution was her coming back because she realized she didnt HAVE to. going “no guys it’s okay this time she WANTS it” is WEAK and weakens everything about both movies together and separately

I finally figured out why Frozen II did not work as a sequel to Frozen. (Yeah, it took me a while)
[The movie by itself is magnificent. Visually stunning, strong characters, gorgeous music. I even liked Kristoff’s song.]
But as a sequel, it didn’t work. Frozen II turned its back on the central metaphor that made the original Frozen so powerful. The metaphor of Elsa’s secret connected with so many people on so many levels. What are you hiding that will make people hate you? What secret must you keep to protect everyone around you? What makes you so radically different from everyone else that you can’t even be around them? What happens if it bursts out all over the place despite your best efforts?
Frozen II sidestepped all that, and retconned Elsa’s struggle out of existence. She spent her entire childhood locked away to protect everyone else. Her father did that to her. He told her ‘conceal don’t feel; don’t let it show.’ Her mother never spoke up in her defense. Anna lost her sister to a closed door. Elsa didn’t learn how to be herself or how to be around others.
Tumblr media
And Frozen II threw all that away. It turns out that having a magical queen was a blessing for Arendelle! (No it wasn’t.) It turns out that her parents loved her! (That’s a pretty twisted definition of love.)
Frozen II gaslights Elsa and everyone who connected with that metaphor. “Ha! See? All the problems were just in your head! Your differences are great! Did you foolishly think people would be scared of you? Or hate you? That’s so cute you were that wrong! All that suffering and angst was because you were too sensitive and overreacting! No one else did anything wrong or treated you badly! It was all just a big misunderstanding!”
Seriously?
I think Disney realized it had turned Elsa’s parents into villains and it wanted to redeem them posthumously. Her parents taught her that she was scary and dangerous and had to hide and that poor little girl *believed* them. Frozen II ignored how the parents treated Elsa, and dumped on an additional helping of guilt when Elsa discovered that they died while trying to figure out the puzzle of her magic. Way to make it worse, Disney.
The truth is, for Elsa to accept herself, she needed to reject what her father taught her. For people who connected with Elsa’s metaphor to accept themselves, they have to reject what family/society/media teaches them. It’s hard. It hurts. It takes time. You’re going to screw up sometimes. The victories are hard and breathless. The setbacks are devastating. And the message that all your struggles are just a big misunderstanding trivializes, minimizes and denies just how much effort it takes to Let It Go and accept who you really are.

It’s not so hard to fix the shitty ending of Frozen2.
In Frozen3 they just need to write Anna makes mistakes to put Arendelle in danger (you know Anna always does this job😏) , so Elsa has to come back to save the kingdom and rescue Anna. In the end Elsa has to become Queen of Arendelle again cause she finds that Anna doesn’t fit to be a solo queen. And Anna abdicates because she finds that she has no talent to be a leader, she’s good at being an ambassador, and she travels around the world with her boyfriend. Happy ending!
If you were to fix Frozen 2, what would you and what changes would you may? Also, do you think we will get Frozen 3? If you do, do you think there is a chance for Disney to fix their mistake and reunite the sisters? What would be good way to do it?
Plot: Global warming, glaciers are melting.
Elsa: “Omg Athohallan is melting too! Our memories will be lost!”
Anna: “Who cares, let’s go home and make new ones.”
The end.
Jokes aside....They could focus on the “bridge” thing. Let’s say...Elsa decided to stay in the forest cause she wants to test her new powers without hurting anyone (and didn’t tell Anna), and then some shit happens. A villain maybe. She needs Anna to fight “it” together, and in the end they realize they need to be together to make it work. I let the details to them, they’re good with silly mythology.
Oh and break up KA. That’s a bonus. He realizes he misses the forest too much and doesn’t want to pretend all his life to be “ok” playing the royal husband.
Anna could teach little girls a break-up is normal and nothing too bad.

The Elsa I Like
Elsa, such a powerful person, can destroy the world easily but she didn’t, because she loved her people there, she loved her family and friends there, and the most important she loved her sister Anna. It’s her HOME! How can she do that? She’s so kind! People there misunderstood her before but she didn’t get angry. She worked hard, she served them, she tried her best to get trust again. And they loved her, as the reward. She pleased them with her magic powers every Christmas, she played with kids when she had day off, she helped villagers when they needed help. She was happy doing it. She was happy being such a friendly humble Queen. She never saw herself as God even though she has magic powers. She just saw herself as a normal person doing normal things. That’s the Elsa I love! That’s why Elsa being a human Queen is more powerful than being a goddess. The more powerful outside, the softer inside. That’s dramatic tension.
What are the things you like about Elsa?
Well, for starters...she’s gorgeous.
I mean, look at her!
Tumblr media
Even Jenn Lee said that when they were working to Frozen1, every man (not only men I suppose) in the room was in love with her, they often had to stop working cause people went “awwwwwww” when she appeared on screen. lol
I can’t blame them.
She’s less gorgeous with reduced breast, without braid, and in white...but she’s ok I guess (fuck the 5th spirit!).
- I love that she’s in a position of power (was, fuck the 5th spirit!). As a Queen of Arendelle, not as ghost of the spirits of nature (who don’t talk). (yes to me she’s still Queen of Arendelle, otherwise, if we’re talking about the 5Th Spirit...no, I DON’T like Elsa).
- I like that she’s an introvert. She’s different. Not the classic cheerful girl who gets to be Princess and Queen, and has a boyfriend, and gets everything she wants.
- I like that she’s sexy, (was, fuck the spirit!). As a spirit she’s too “ethereal” to be sexy.
Look at this pic I’ve found today, it’s not official of course, but it shows very well how different she is (was?) from every other Disney princess:
Tumblr media
- I like that Anna is always her priority (was, fuck the spirit), she sacrificed her own freedom to keep her safe for many years.
- I like that she’s a bit insecure, a dork, when she’s trying to make Anna happy, but she’s a badass when it’s time to save a person/situation.
- I like her snowflake/symbol. A queen with ice powers. I think it’s poetic, and the graphic of her Frozen1 figure, with the snowflakes, it’s beautiful. The spirit’ symbol is too cold and geometric tho. I don’t know how to explain it better in english, sorry. I just don’t like it and I think the original (and realistic) snowflake was so much better. (fuck the spirit!)
- I like that she’s single and her story is NOT about romance.
- I like that she has magic, of course, special thing among the Disney princesses.
- I like that she worked to become a Queen, to have her sister by her side (fuck the spirit!)
- I like how graceful she is. Older than the other Disney princesses, calm, elegant and graceful.
You can easily see how Frozen 2 completely destroyed the character I loved.

THIS!! Very well said👏👏👏
You know I always wanna ask queen Anna supporters: Did you think Anna deserved to be queen since you watched F1 in 2013?
If your answers are "Yes" then I respect you as queen Anna fans. Because you have your own mind. Which is awesome! And congratulations you got what you deserved in F2: a queen Anna. Enjoy!
But, if your answers are "No" you just became queen Anna fans after watching F2, well at least you’ve failed to get respect from me. Because you are just parrots of the creators, like when Jen said 1+1=5 you repeated she was right. Which is okay, you have right to agree with 1+1=5. But you can’t ask people who agreed with 1+1=2 to respect your opinion of 1+1=5. It’s ridiculous.
And something is wrong isn’t it? I’m not talking about what actually 1+1 equals to, I mean, where the hell have your brains gone? Where is your mind? You really think Anna deserved to be queen before JenniferLee said "Anna deserved that"? Of course you can say "Anna is brave, kind, outgoing, good at communicating, ect, so she deserves to be queen". But she was already brave, kind, outgoing in F1, why didn’t you get the idea of Anna should be queen and became queen Anna supporters since 2013? Why bother waiting for Jen to make it happen in F2 in 2019? Because you never thought this brave, kind, outgoing princess deserved to be queen before! You used to agree with F1, you agreed with 1+1=2, why you changed? Why you believe 1+1=5 is right now? Because Jennifer said it was true? So what if Jennifer made Anna have magic powers in F2 but didn’t make her queen? What would you say? Would you become "magical Anna" supporters?
I’m sorry I will never respect this kind of queen Anna supporters. Cuz you don’t deserve a "queen Anna". You never understand the point of Anna. You don’t even like Anna I think. (she’s more free spirit and not a girl of desk work.) You’re just blind Jen/F2 lovers.
And last but not least, Elsa had ruled Arendelle for 6 years and her people loved her, which showed that Elsa was doubtlessly a Great Queen! But Anna hadn’t ruled Arendelle for a whole day and you already say she is a good queen. Lol from what? From the ceremony which was the symbol of friendship between Arendelle and Nouthuldra but she didn’t invite a single Nouthuldra to come?
I know you like Elsanna and a big fan of Elsa, but that doesn't mean everyone is like you. Look, I'm an Elsanna fan too and I really like Queen Anna. Everyone has a different opinion, why do you and that anon think who are fans of Queen Anna means not EA fans? You are allowed to like Queen Elsa so why don't me and the others like Queen Anna, right? I don't want to quarrel with you but please respect everyone's preferences. I understand you dislike ending and me too, I agree Elsa is a good queen. To me both Anna and Elsa are good queens in their own way.
‘Respect my opinion’ says anon, as tells me my opinion, shared in my blog, is wrong.
Lol makes sense.
Listen, queen anna is the reason why elsa was sent away, and if you are an elsanna fan and like the separation, then you are not an elsanna fan, because in my opinion, an elsanna fans who likes the separation, it’s not a real elsanna fan.
Have you ever read why the writers made Anna queen? Lol the words were:
‘She’s just that kind of girl, you know? She deserves it...’
An generic and empty line that means ‘we just liked it cause we like her more, ok?!’
If you like her as a concept, well I understand anon, for real, but in the circumstances of the movie, when that’s the first wrong decision they took that lead them to the separation, no, i don’t get you.
And you clearly care about Anna more than elsanna, or you’ll want them together more than you want a crown on Anna’s head, considering SHE never wanted it. She always wanted her sister.
My opinion anon, this is what you’ll find here ;)

Well said.👏👏👏
I read the most stupid thing ever, arendelle isnt elsa´s home because was a colonial contry and wasnt her mother´s home because she was "trapped" there, wow having a loving family, being queen, being in a happy place is being a prisoner? the forest is the "nation" elsa and anna comes from, this person really say that, so elsa and anna growing up all her life in arendelle where they have happy (and sad) moments dont make that place your home. these people are delusional
Iduna isn’t even from that part of the forest, and she lived there for a few years, before moving to Arendelle as a kid, as we saw in the movie.
So Elsa AND ANNA belong to a place where their mother lived for a few years, and not to the place where THEY’RE BORN AND THEY’RE LIVED ALL THEIR LIVES.
Ok, I understand.
Should I ship my daughter to Denmark since her father comes from there (but she’s never been there before, as Elsa in the forest)? LOL
And just cause I’m curious, so WHEN ANNA is moving to the forest?? You know, the one who LOVED to be ouside, HATED to be indoor to study, couldn’t wait for the gates to open, likes to go for adventures????
Did they say it??
I’ll be waiting.(while laughing, cause at this point I can only laugh)

THIS!!!
Having recently seen Frozen 2 I’d like to point out a detail that showcases just how deeply integrated in all Disney’s products is the unyielding need to always stick to its “core values” from the 40s.
There are the family oriented shenanigans in Endgame, and now they are in Frozen 2.
Spoilers bellow

Sometimes I’m confused why the hell in the world there are elsanna fans support Anna being Queen? Cuz Queen Anna was the reason why the sisters had to split up. How the hell can they be against the separation but support the reason of separation at the same time?
Because they are NOT elsanna fans. Or not exclusively elsanna fans.
They’re the
- I like elsanna but it has to be a dirty secret! - i like elsanna but kristoff is anna’s love - i like elsanna but don’t tag frozen 2 cause it’s not appropriate! - i like elsanna but i respect the writers so i’ll never say a word about what i didn’t like
and that’s not me.
Anna got her role for the wrong reasons: they wanted to send Elsa away, that’s all.
I agree with the Anna fans who loved who Anna was before f2, not the hysterical girl who ran after Elsa for a whole movie scared to lose her, and was perfectly fine 12 hours after she lost her, so much that she’s ready to live without her.
That’s not how human psychology works, at all!
I agree with the Anna fans who liked the funny and strong princess who wanted to go for adventures, spend time outside, and hated to study and being indoor all day. I don’t think queen Anna is the natural evolution of that girl, and I don’t like it.
One could say she got the role she deserved after all: THE SPARE, and that’s horrible.
So I agree with you, I don’t like queen Anna because it’s the beginning of this mess, and I think that true Anna fans loved her for something else. If they wanted her to be queen, and get everything Elsa had...I wonder why Elsa wasn’t their favorite in Frozen1.

To all Anna fans:
You are already so damn lucky! You have all the writers in the crew favoring the character you like! And they are willing to write better storyline for Anna, they are willing to write a better character arc for Anna, they are willing to rob all Elsa had for Anna, and they are willing to downgrade Elsa to make your Anna shine, at all cost, like KILLING ELSA OFF! I don’t know why you’re all still complaining! Why every Anna fan I saw is an Elsa hater? Why I haven’t seen any of Elsa fans hates Anna so far?
Just imagine when the situation is being opposite, like Elsa is the writers’ favorite and they are willing to give Elsa everything and even kill off Anna, how do you feel? Unfair? Angry? Frustrated? Depressed? And this is not the end! The worst thing is , we Elsa fans, complain about what Elsa gets is not enough and she deserves even more! Why not just kill Anna off, or why not make Anna the villain, and so on. How do you feel then? Can you feel my feelings now?
I am not KA fan, I actually prefer Elsanna. I just don't like how Elsa seems to get the spotlight more and how Anna gets less. But your answer to my message made me realize that the creators should have celebrated Anna's diffefence, just like you said. You also made me realize that they turned Anna into a weak copy of Elsa (minus the powers etc) when they made her the queen. Instead they should have gave Anna something different, more fitting for her personality, like make her knight or captain
Ok, I’m sorry if I mistook you for a KA, not that there’s anything wrong with shipping KA, but I tend to have different opinions from KA fans and yours were aligned to those. Sorry for the mistake!
That said, I agree with what you said. They should have found a different path for Anna.
A path that doesn’t put her in comparison with Elsa.

To the aron:
YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG! IT’S NOT ELSA STEALING THE SHOW, IT’S ANNA HERSELF LOSING THE SHOW BY STEALING EVERYTHING FROM ELSA EXCEPT MAGIC!
Elsa never stole anything. She’s more popular, she brings more money, OF COURSE SHE DESERVES MORE!
Princess Anna please STOP THE STEAL! And all you KA fans please STOP THE JEALOUSY!
Two sides of a bridge my aft. More like all the best goes to Elsa and Anna gets her leftovers. Couldn’t even make taming the spirits a double effort instead of having Elsa steal the show all the damn time. Still not forgiving Disney for not at least giving Anna a magical item. Like a fire bow or something. Anna also deserves better songs and that lackluster dress Disney call a queens dress is so lacking in detail that even Kristoffs outfit had more detail.
Sorry I agree only with half of this.
I wanted MORE of this bridge stuff, I agree. It wasn’t explained, I wanted details. On this we agree.
And I wanted it because it ADDS to the Elsa+Anna connection.
But on everything else.....I think Anna already got everything from Elsa. I’ll always remember my daughter coming out of the movie saying “Anna stole Elsa’s job!!” cause she too understood Elsa had no reasons to stay behind, and Anna was just Elsa’s replacement. And she resented Anna for it. She was 7yr old so...that’s how she saw it.
Anna does NOT deserve to steal something ELSE from Elsa, like her magic, after she got EVERYTHING already.
Her home, her crown, her job, her people, etc....
She is even stiff as a pole now, as Elsa was in Frozen 1. Happy? Do you all like it or did you prefer the carefree and energetic princess of Frozen 1? Cause I want that girl back.
So no, sorry. If you want something original for Anna, you should complain they turned her into a B- version of Elsa, and not asking them to steal something else from her!
Fortunately they always said her power is love, so you’ll gotta do with that. Enjoy.
I don’t agree about clothes too: Anna’s outfits are VERY detailed, while Elsa ones are more ethereal and sparkly because of her magic. They are different for a reason.
Start a campaign for Elsa to dress up Anna, and you’ll get something magical and sparkly for her too.
The mistake here is that you keep comparing Elsa with Anna, and are pissed off if Elsa gets better dresses, songs and magic moments.
While you should ask to promote Anna for her strong points, which aren’t Elsa’s ones. She could have had amazing action scenes, but no...they turned her into a crying baby who becomes a copy of her sister.
She deserved better songs, yes. But all you got was a suicidal moment because they made a movie for kids about mourning!!!
F2 was horrible for Anna too, I agree, but not because they didn’t steal enough from Elsa, but because they did it too much.
She doesn’t need Elsa’s job, magic, clothes and songs. She needs to be great and different!!
Unfortunately Frozen 2 killed that “difference”. She was clumsy, funny, positive person, and I didn’t see any of this in Frozen 2.
They made Elsa something else (something vague and completely not interesting), and gave everything Elsa was and had to Anna. This was the problem.
(her black dress was black cause she was supposed to be in mourning, so....at least there’s an explanation for that. No worries tho, now that she’s Arendelle spokesperson and symbol i’m sure she’s gonna have a flag tattoed on her ass in the next movie, with bright colors. While Elsa will just disappear in a flash of white).

THIS!!!!
When Elsa became queen, she had a coronation scene. When Anna became queen, her coronation was completely skipped over. Elsa has three power ballads, Let it Go, Into the Unknown and Show Yourself. Anna has only The Next Right Thing. For The First Time in Forever, Love is an Open Door and Some Things Never Change don't count cause those are duets, there is someone else singing too, not only Anna. Elsa has two magical dress changes. Why did they make Anna queen when they care so little about her?
I’ll answer you pretending you’re not a KA complaining cause Anna didn’t steal the show yet, but I know you are.
This has nothing to do with songs.
Songs are written to get awards, and they have IDINA MENZEL there, who’s one of the best broadway artists EVER, who’s gonna get them awards.
KBell who???
She has a nice voice, but she can’t compare with IDINA MENZEL. Sorry.
Why do you think they desperately wanted a song for Groff in F2?? Cause Kristoff deserved a song?? LOL! NO!
Because he was in Hamilton and they wanted to steal a bit of that popularity (in the form of a singing performance, as he has in Hamilton) for their movie!
Kbell can’t compete. Sorry.
Elsa has magical changes of dresses cause she has magic. Do they want Anna to have magic too now? Anything else to stole? Why don’t you ask them to kill Elsa off for real, so Anna can wear a blond wig an pretend to be Elsa!
Anna’s coronation has been skipped over cause it’s only KA’s wet dream, and regular audience don’t give a fuck of watching a scene we saw already with ELSA. It would be a copy, something not necessary.
You have no idea how many deleted scenes are in a movie, and this is totally the kind of scene they would cut, something NOT ORIGINAL. Not necessary.
See this is the problem with KA: they want everything Elsa got, cause they are jealous. But it doesn’t work for many reasons:
1) cause kids will always prefer Elsa 2) cause they’ll cut scenes that are a copy of scenes Elsa had 3) cause the best songs will always be written for the broadway star
etc...
so, maybe, for once, ask for something that it’s not ELSA’S.
Not her crown, her job, per people, her city, her song, her moments.
You can’t compete. Find another way to celebrate Anna.
She was different. And writers should have celebrated THAT DIFFERENCE, instead of killing it and making her the spare.
