For all the stress he and his department put on her, Dr. Cuddy ought not to like Dr. House. And she doesn't! I think! Never mind the times I ask a question about Diagnostics and she gets that look in her eye. Sometimes in the earlier parts of the morning I can get her to joke with me about him - today she told me she wanted to get a piano for the hospital lobby so Dr. House could play, like it was an airport lounge. I think she admires him.
(He certainly could stand to treat her better - he doesn't give her the credit she deserves for all she does for him. If I were in his position, I'd never dream of talking to her the way he does. I don't know what she sees in him.)

Let me in on this! I have the MOST luck with mining, if I can ever get a moment away from the never-ending whirlwind of work Dr. Cuddy gives me (not complaining, though, if you see this, boss!) I'll have to stop in and play a little :)
(P.S., Nin, I can't tell you how JAZZED I am that you're on this site now! I'm so glad to see someone I already know!)
Dr. Kutner and I have been playing Minecraft for the past couple of hours in the break room, and he is taking a bit of an anger management break right now. While I've been building us a nice 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom house on a lake, he's been strip mining for 45 minutes and hasn't found a diamond. He says to add that he's been killed by a baby zombie 4 times, so, he's been killed by a baby zombie 4 times.
Yes, we have the cave update, he really is just having that bad of luck right now.

HARD agree. You'd think they'd be able to tell a white coat from the absence of one.
...Or, at least, they would, if all of our doctors wore their coats.
Wow…some people really don’t understand directions.
Woman came into my office saying a nurse told her to go to the second floor. My office is in the basement.
Also..I think I need a bright red sign that says ‘I’m not a doctor’ because…she proceeded to ask me questions about a rash she had?? And SHOWED me?

That happens to you, too?! I could not count the number of times that I've been suddenly shown something I did not want to see while trying to cross the clinic or deliver coffees. Goodness knows it makes sense -- lots of our doctors are fairly young, after all -- but do I really look like I've done all those years of med school??

I won't say a word, promise!
Um…praying Cuddy doesn’t see this.
There’s a body missing from the morgue. I can’t believe I even have to ask, but does anyone know anything about that? Charles Abernathy..? I’m gonna get fired oh my god.

Dr. Cuddy asked me if I needed any help on my upcoming essays today. I told her it was summertime, and my semester hasn't started yet, and she seemed surprised.
How overworked is she that she doesn't know what time of year it is? She needs more help than I can give her, I fear.

Goodness, I'll keep it in mind! How that guy keeps his job is a mystery to me. I certainly don't envy your job today!!
(Though, if you do need any help, please let me know - it wouldn't be the first time I've pitched in with janitorial work.)
Today there's issues in the cafeteria - we don't know yet whether it was a patient, patient's family, or a member of staff who started a "food fight", but I've been put in charge of investigating. I suspect it was the Diagnostics department head - Dr. Cuddy told me this morning when I clocked in that he had been to her office asking for permission to do some kind of ridiculous procedure on his current patient, and apparently he's the type to cause mayhem as revenge.
We are in for a long, long morning, I think.

Hello! Welcome to Tumblr :) Are you looking to have a career in medicine, or is this just a side gig? I’ve been down to Princeton, it’s a pretty cool teaching area. I have quite a few hospital assistant friends, and am going into medicine myself. It’s good to meet you!
It's good to meet you as well!! I'm not planning on going into medicine whatsoever - I'd like to be a data analyst or work in administration!
My job at PPTH is actually the result of a series of misunderstandings. It's a teaching hospital, and some of my med track friends took me along for some of their free-credit classes. The class I attended was interrupted by Dr. Cuddy (something had happened with hospital records - a department head accessing private information, I think?), and in the confusion as we were leaving, she handed me a file and asked me to take a look at its contents and have a summary on her desk by the end of the day. I didn't want to get in trouble or lose the credit or anything, so I went ahead and did it, and once she realized I didn't in fact actually work at the hospital, Dr. Cuddy decided to offer me a job here!
(I do think it had to do with the contents of the file - it was some pretty top-shelf hospital funding business. Probably I would have had to sign an NDA or something if I hadn't accepted the job offer!)
If you're ever in the area again, don't be afraid to say hi! I find a lot of the work I do is welcoming visitors when Dr. Cuddy is too busy to make polite appearances.

Hello! I'm Hen Nenaginad (she/her he/him), a part-time college student and part-time employee at Princeton Plainsboro. I'm 21 and studying communications and data science, and I'm the personal assistant to PPTH's Dean of Medicine, Dr. Lisa Cuddy!
Feel free to ask me questions - a lot of the staff here has made Tumblr accounts recently, and I figured I ought to join in.
I will try to keep it as professional as possible on here (we've had many a PR seminar in the administrative PPTH department), but no promises!
(run by @sesamie aka @toplessoncology!)
