Too young to notice, and too dumb to care||Dani Death
Characters: Dani Harper and Sam Evans
Location: Sector 1, Arena Day 5
Notes: Because while I have no time and no one will ever see it... Dani deserves more than I gave her. She was a great chara and a beautiful muse and I've been stalking and saw her death and I wanted to put in my 2 cents about what she was thinking then.... So here you have it. My last goodbye. Because I can never let sleeping dogs lie LOL. I miss you guys
They were all over her back. Up and down and all over making it hard to see and breathe and the world swirled and spun and things melted. The world was made of strange demons and suddenly the trees were thick and the air was thicker as she ran hoping the Jackers were following her and not Bree. Just not Bree, she prayed up and down they weren’t going to hurt Bree. She had to be safe. She adored Bree. Bree with her stubbornness and her smiles. Bree with her father who loved her and her fire and she was good and warm and she wanted to go back to Bree.
She watched as people she loved, her family, stood watching hatefully and laughing at her. They stood there with angry, horrible faces that swirled with horrible feelings of being completely apart and hated. She knew that feeling so much. She felt her legs give out and she curled into a ball the bumps upon bumps on her back scouring her back. “Mommy.” She cried with her acid and blood tears watering the earth making it rumble with joy at her blood. As she bled from her eyes and her tears quenched the earth’s need for blood the pain in her back lessened. She could feel the puss but instead of acid it was soothing. It was weeping blood just like her eyes and the dirt beneath her was happy. She didn’t know how long it was. It felt like moments, it felt like eternity that she had laid there in the world of blood earth and oceans of human bodies and hate and rage and nothing but pain. The light started to hit her eyes again. The pain in her back was starting to get too much again. Her own blood wasn’t enough. The waterfall from her back was stopping up and her tears were just water and the earth didn’t want water how it craved blood.
The pulsing all over pulled her, it pulled her to a noise and there he was. A blonde deer just running there! A big, huge buck of pure muscles either he would kill her or she would kill him but together their blood would sooth the earth, it would stop the aching. It had to. By now she was desperate. She had to join the bodies floating in an endless sea of blood; she needed to be free from the pain. She didn’t think. There were cheering voices in her head, the dead bodies beckoning her to them with Artie at the lead cheering and waiting to welcome her. Then she remembered Bree. Bree wouldn’t want her to join the bodies, but Bree was so small and she was safe. She was better without Dani. She was safe and she would be safer when the ground’s craving was quenched. Dani was helping her, saving her. Her parents were there screaming for her to go, to hurry and rid them of their burden of her deformity. She ran and jumped with her knife magically in her hand. It was like the earth had placed it there to encourage her task and her knife plunged into the buck making it roar in pain and she scampered away like a wild animal. It was started. She had to do what she had to do. Bree would be happy and safe and the hungry earth would no longer crave blood when she was done. His blood was spilt though, it was hitting the earth and there was no rumble and the world still hurt. She needed more, it needed more. It needed to be assuaged. One of them had to die for the earth to be clean.
The Buck called to her and she knew his name “Sam” she said her words were strange. Cold and clear and so much different form the world she had been in. Everything before had been cotton. The earth was leaving her, it was angry, it would go after Bree! She had to save Bree! She had to! Bree had to be safe! She loved Bree! “I’m doing what I have to do.” She said and the earth smiled knowing that blood was coming, that it would be filled. Just a little more blood. It was back. Bree was safe. They all were. She and the Buck, that was it: just she and the buck. She moved towards the blonde deer with the rack of razors and waited for the world to be soothed and when she felt the slice and the pain she knew it was over, but the rumbling earth told her she’d done well and Artie was standing at her head. “Welcome to a New world girl.” His nasal said and she stood up smiling in a white dress and a crown of white roses and she felt love and peace and she looked down at a broken body that looked so strange to her, so not her. She hugged him and then it was all black.

Yeah no, I know that part... but that kinda doesn't mean I need to be happy right? I mean honestly it's like... I don't know I just hate the murder machines running around. I had a hard enough time before this. I'm just reveling in the suck.
How was your sleep
The Hunger Games weren’t exactly created so everyone can watch alliances form between people who’re supposed to be killing each other. So, the whole gladiator thing is not a huge surprise if you, like, really think about it. It might be hell, but it’s reality now and we gotta be prepared.

Yeah they.... Well like you said. We mad out bed. Now we have to live in it. It's fucking terrifying. Maybe you were right, we should have been more interesting.
Most of us would rather use those skills as defense not go hunting though.
I'm sure the Gamemakers are thrilled.

Yeah it kinda did, they wanted interesting instead they got us. Most of us don't seem like the type to turn on those that make us comfortable in a place that is the ultimate of uncomfortable.
Not necessarily. Children do what they're told because they're scared, adults reason and work differently. Children will get scared and react but growing up adds reason into it. It's reasonable not to instantly pick off people that can help you. It's reasonable to not make enemies. Yes if it came down to it everyone in here would rather you died than they died, but it's not black and white for us. If you actually grow up you learn grey and this place is filled with grey.
I'm sure the Gamemakers are thrilled.

I suppose it does make people look at you more. They get expectations. I like being under the radar it works for me. Yeah, I loved books when I got to be around them. It's nice to have someone else to talk about them to! What's your favorite? Other than The Lord Of the Rings.... this is probably a weird time to ask that huh?
FUCK YOU YOU MOTHER FUCKING.... WHAT?!

Yeah, like they're something specifically life saving.... which is funny cause it seems like they would be particularly life threatening mean they don't really want us .... ok... right? Yeah all my clothes are baddy and easy to get on and off in a rush. Just in case ya know? I'm working on teaming up with Bree for a bit. I'm excited for that. Yes he is, with the lightening shaped scar on his forehead. Really? They were in my parent's library. Ooooh I get why. Ok.
FUCK YOU YOU MOTHER FUCKING.... WHAT?!

They just sent in 6 people intent on destroying everyone because we weren't killing enough people. Welcome to hell
I managed to get sleep for the first time in like days because I was freaking exhausted and practically passed out and now I don’t even know what’s going on anymore, I’m not gonna lie.

I suppose there was a sort of duel. No bruises but I have a nice gash that'll be a pretty scar to tell stories about. True smaller than trees... and much much much creepier! I hate bugs!

Bree
It had been pretty obvious for Bree that she needed to seek out more supplies. Her spear had been lost during the tidal wave, serving to piss her off even more than almost drowning. It was foolish to think there would be anything left in the Cornucopia, but she made her way towards the center anyway, if anything just to get some kind of bearing and figure out where she should head next. She wasn’t exactly skilled when it came to direction, but she planned on heading towards what looked like the direction of the agricultural district. Besides finding food, maybe she could find something to help patch up her backpack, which was already on it’s last leg. Back home, it was either find a way to repair what you had or go without, so hopefully she could make something work. She was reclining against a wall of the horn when she heard a voice call her name, senses perking up as she got herself into a defensive stance. What she wouldn’t kill for that damn spear now. But when she heard the voice again, that familiar playfulness lacing the girls words, she rolled her eyes and held out a hand in a wave. “The one and only, hun. Nice knife, I’m jelly,”
Dani
When there was a small movement Dani’s eyes went right to it but her whole body relaxed upon seeing the hand. She let her muscles relax themselves and made her way over to Bree and laughed at the compliment to her nice. “Thanks I got it for slicing someone over the eye. It’s served me pretty well.” She said with a shrug sliding down on the other side and looked her over. “You look pretty good for someone half drowned.” She said with a smirk and pulled around her pack digging through it and pulling out her leaves the tape and the ointment. “I have the stuff for you to get fixed up with if you want it.” She offered putting her bag beside her. Everything was in an order. She’d spent the first part of her day hiding in the woods reordering her pack so that the most useful things were on top. It made for easy movement from place to place. Sadly the food had been put at the bottom because she was in a forest so she would have to reorder that later.

That's the thing though, they made us friends. They told us to talk a lot of people in here are friends. It's hard to kill someone when you care about the, we have hearts and most hearts are fragile.
Yeah well.... It's a different kind of games this year. The entire make up is different. We're not kids.
I'm sure the Gamemakers are thrilled.

Hello Angel Welcome to the War||Brani
TAGGING → Dani Harper and Bree Johnson
SETTING → The Cornacopia after the crazyfest
NOTES → YAY
There was still a slight pulsing in her upper thigh as she swam across the mote. The salt water was burning the wound she got from the trees but she pushed through it and onto the dry land pulling out the med kit form her backpack and applying the antibiotic ointment and putting on some leaves she'd gathered in the forest before sealing it with the stick tape. She looked put the pack back in and took her inventory again checking through everything. It had been two days and she was starting the third. Three people were dead, trees had attacked, there were fireballs, locusts, tidal waves and God knew what else but she was still alive. Day three and she was still there and fighting. Now she just had to keep going. She looked around for danger doing a quick sweep and seeing no one. Then she looked around for Bree. She got up and started to walk towards the large metal thing that had been the point of everyone's desires. "Bree?" She asked in an average voice her knife held in her hand just in case though she had yet to use it fro anything but cutting stems and sucking leaves. "You here sexy?" She asked again with a smirk in her voice.

No I'm working on it so I might soon. That's because a day in here feels like forever. But it's good to hear from you too. That makes sense to me! Work on staying a live first. Shockingly I actually had a good amount of energy. I've never been much for sleep anyway and I got like 10 hours before we left so I'm all game for this. It's a bit... stretching emotionally though. No... and I'm starting to worry about him. I didn't expect him to call for a meet up or anything but I just... I hope I see him and I hope he's ok. No I have no intention of finding you and killing you. Worst case I'd come and demand that food but I got some in the forest. Glad you two found water! Yeah but I wouldn't suggest the forests. A) The trees attack and B) Nightlock. You need someone who knows exactly what it looks like and how to avoid it. That's good! Food is a good thing!
This place is huge
